When to take LO swimming?

Savannah is now 10 weeks old (1 week corrected), and has finally hit the 8lb mark!

When would it be safe to take her swimming? This is one this I cant wait to do, as I LOVE swimming! Also, how long do I go for? And what do I do about nappies? Im trying to figure out the practicality's of it all as well

We were advised to wait until our lo was about 12lb because the temp of the water in pools is usually lower. We use huggies little swimmer nappies which are designed for water.

We have taken Amelia since she had all her jabs so 16 weeks, 3 corrected. She loves it. Our local pool has a baby pool that is heated to 35 degrees. We use huggies little swimmer nappies x
