When to test?

Hi all, I am new here and loving reading the threads so far

We are using a donor atm and so it's a bit more difficult for us to time things etc...

I am using a CBFM and got my Peak this morning. I had donations last Monday and then on Friday night.

Can someone let me know when I should test?

I have a 28 day cycle usually but only got my Peak on CD20 due to stress etc...

Hi there

I think I'm right in saying that if your cycle is normally 28 days, then you could should still be able to test at CD28 even if you OV a couple of days later than expected. (I OV at CD18 one month and still AF at CD28...mores the pitty).

I am hoping that I will still be on my 28 day cycle but that my luteal phase is just longer for some reason this month.

Is it advisable to test before your AF is due? Or are you really setting yourself up for disappointment?

Some people test before AF is due .. but alot of people wait until they miss AF .

I agree with AmorT. As frustrating as it is, I think it's better to wait until your expected AF.

The temptation can be overwhelming but getting the BFN can set you up for unnecessary fretting
