When to use exersaucer?

Dd is 14 weeks and can sit up and hold her head but doesn't touch the floor in the exersaucer so I don't think she's ready for it. We have the baby Einstein one. When did you put your babies in? My first was as of 3 months but she was the size of a 6 month old.

DD was at least 6 months before we put her in it. She was dangling before then. She was only 15.5 pounds at 6 months.

I had to google what that is! I'll b putting DS in his Jumperoo foe small periods from Christmas (with pillow under his feet if needs be).

I have the Einstein as well. I put lo in it at 5 months for short periods of time with a folded blanket underneath so her feet weren't dangling. At about 6.5 months she could touch floor w/o a blanket, so started giving her a bit more time in it.
