who can go MOST overdue?!

I was 3cm on tuesday so this time the midwife said she'd just break my waters and not use the gel first. Bit worried about it though - hope my body doesn't go in to shock or something as my babies are usually delivered pretty soon after my waters have been broken.

I'm scared now :/

Well Im going to be joining you ladies!!! I am due today and really don't think I'm going into labor anytime soon....I hope to God I don't win though! LOL. Anyways at my last appointment last week I was 2 cms dilated, 50% effaced and fully engaged. She really thought I was going to go into labor before my due date but I have proved her wrong unfortunately

I'm still hanging around too. A week overdue today and bubs has given me no signs of coming out anytime soon. Haven't even started to lose my plug.
I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable now simply because of the fluid reetention and the aches and pains that come with all this extra weight

Come on baby, get your act together as mummy really doesn't want to be induced...

Well Its just gone past Midnight here in the UK, and that makes me OFFICIALLY Overdue!
Only just tho lol!
I have a swep booked for Monday but have been having mild contractions throughout today! I really thought things were hotting up earlier as the contractions were coming every 5-6 mins and were increasing! but then all went quiet!
I am still getting irregular tightenings and pains so hopeing more positive contractions will arrive tomorrow!!!!

Was never expecting to reach my due date let alone go over! My first was a week early, and this little one has been threatening to come early since 27 weeks lol! Glad I have him or her fully cooked now, and Am MORE than ready to meet my ittle one!

Hope the sweep tomorrow goes ok for you. I've got my second one tomorrow. When I had my first on Friday she said that the irregular pains I'd been having are doing something to help things along, so at least they are helping in some way to get things ready! Fingers crossed they have been doing the same for you!

Well I am officially overdue by 1 day. Any advice ladies? I dont think they do membrane sweeps in the US but I am going to ask at my doctors appointment tomorrow if she will do one. Id much rather get a sweep before I try induction!

Well I'm 11 days over today - MW on Thursday said baby had engaged again but only just so didn't want to do a sweep. Booked in for a scan first thing tomorrow morning and then the induction process kicks off... been told I might get to come home after the first gel though but would prefer that it gets things underway. Oh well, looking forward to finally meeting my baby!

Bridget arrived at 2pm on Thursday (11 days late), weighing 11lb 0.5oz, and I went in to labour myself, and I only had gas and air!!
I would have been in being induced right now if things hadn't happened, so pleased I went spontaneously!!

Had a few mild lower abdo cramps tonight, So I am hoping that tomorrow the doc says I am at least effacing if not slightly dialated! but we'll see!

hello ladies - I have had my gorgeous baby boy at 42 weeks! Herbie Jude, 7lb 11oz, born at 7.20pm tonight on just a few puffs of gas and air. Now back home. Will post full details later. I'm so lucky to have two gorgeous sons and four gorgeous daughters - truly blessed but ... NEVER AGAIN LOL!!!

Hey hun. I'm only 2 days overdue but I am so sick of this!! Dont really have much to do to pass the time besides clean the house, eat, go on BnB, and work out. Its getting extremely old!

Me either hun the house has never looked so clean ! I was ok up until today and then i just felt really sorry for my self. An the way im eating this baby is going to come out really big lol! X

Had my sweep!!! Quite sore, but not too bad at all! Am 2-3 cm dialated and the Doc said cervix is very short and she could feel babies head up there lol! Hopefully not too long for us all now!

Hi everyone!

4 days overdue today! Tried everything.....just got back in from mowing the lawn and an hours walk!

My plan now is to just stay as active as possible and have my sweep Thursday if needed.

Can you believe we are all hoping and praying for immense pain asap!??? ha ha ha

Congrats to all the mums who have delivered

I had my first sweep today. It was a little uncomfortable but not too bad. If nothing occurs I shall have another one on Friday.

I don't expect much to happen as I wasn't dilated and my cervix was still posterior. I've had no response to it so far. Obviously my body isn't ready and bubs is far too cosy in there! I'm now 10 days overdue.

Hi I'm 5 days over due now but psychologically feel like I'm nearly 3 weeks as I was so sure I would be early again. Oh well, it won't be long now. Good luck to all you over due Mums.
