I'll essentially be 21 weeks when I get mine. I'll definitely trust it. Plus, I know what to look for, so I'll see for myself boy or girl.

It's true, once you're farther on, there's really no denying it unless they can't get a good look at all. Even from the side, there was no doubt about my boy at my 20 week scan last pregnancy. That sure wasn't the cord he was proudly waving.

A little over 21 hours to go for me. I have no feelings either way, nothing in my gut telling me if it's a boy or girl. All the baby gender predictors I've done have said girl so we shall see.

Well they couldn't tell what our baby is ...the cord was in the way and the legs were tight closed sticking straight out but I swaer when he shouldn't me the bum I saw a little package there but not thinking to much into it .....I have a low placenta so I'm sure I will get another chance before baby is born

I have realized that I have been selfish lately and it really doesn't matter what gender. I would've just enjoyed shopping more with a girl than with a boy because I already have one. DH already understands his responsibilities if this one is a boy.

Well i go back to my specialist again on Thursday and i get another detailed scan to check on previous bleeding and the tear in my placenta! I'm excited to see my little boy but always nervous as to what they will say

talica22 - Baby not showing is one of my worries. I won't get another scan, so if the baby doesn't cooperate, I'll have to take up a collection to get the money to pay for a private scan.

Seity-I have my scan today and am so nervous that baby won't cooperate for us. Feels like we've been waiting forever to find out what it is and the little stinker better not choose today to be shy.

Bleach test?

Pee in a cup, drop a capful of bleach in...if it fizzes like sprite, it's a girl, if it foams like beer, boy.

Be careful! Do it in a well ventilated room as bleach and ammonia don't mix!

did you all trust your scan lol my Babybond said girl at 18weeks but starting to think it may be wrong (nasty google)

I had a quick scan at 16w4d to check on LO heart, and the maternal fetal specialist asked me if I was finding out the gender and if I wanted her to guess.... She said boy!

She did remind us it was strictly a guess though...

But it didn't feel right... So I didn't celebrate, look at boys clothes or names. (We've been calling her Jaylinh temporarily from the 8th week when I was started to feel it was a girl.)

What do you know? She was WRONG! Ultra sound tech said girl, and then another MFS came in, viewed her bits from three different angels and showed me the three lines. Definitely team !!!

I am hoping this doesnt happen to me tomorrow. This is the only u/s I have left unless I want to pay for one out of pocket.

That's what I was worried about cause my first never showed either ...so yes I'm hopeing for another scan since the placenta thing has come up but if they don't yup me too will have to save for a private scan
