will 5 bcps stop ovulation this month?

I had my period, started the first 5 pills of a new pack and then stopped. Do you think those 5 pills would prevent me from ovulating this month, or probably not? TTC

It may or it may not. What likely will happen is that you may have a short withdrawl bleed in a few days. Then your cycle would restart.
