Hi all.

I went to the Dr yesterday after not having any ovulation/AF for 3 months after coming off the pill (Dianette).

Before the pill my periods appeared to be regular, although I did not chart my cycles.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS (Cysts in both ovaries, ovaries slightly enlarged, facial hair)

I am perhaps a little overweight (12 stone 2lbs and 5 ft 10, BMI of 24.4)

I am of average fitness (I walk, jog occasionally, do pole fitness)

I eat well, lots of fresh and home cooked food, with the occasional treat (Take away/fast food/chocolate)

I do not know if I am insulin resistant/have metabolic syndrome.

Will Metformin work to start me ovulating if I do not have the above conditions?

I have just purchased Vitex (Agnus Castus) and am also going to try that 1000mg per day when it arrives.

PS Please ignore the crosshairs in my chart, FF suddenly added them yesterday, for 28 days ago!
