Will sweep work again?

With my first I had a sweep on my due date and on the way home from mw I started contracting, and dd was born two days later.

After my appt today, mw told me I could have a sweep on my due date again. I am expecting now that as it started things off with my first, the same will happen this time.

Did it happen to anyone else, where the sweep worked both times?

Not me sorry. With my first the sweep worked after 24 hrs and with my second I had two sweeps and neither worked . I do believe that chilli noodles helped for my second tho so maybe try that

I had sweep with all 3 kids, I was in labour 8-12 hours after every single one of them. My mw pretty much told me though I was 3-4cm dilated with all 3 kids prior to sweep so very favourable cervix.
