Hi Ladies, not having the best weekend, had a massive haemmorhage yesterday morning and ended up in hospital, were not sure yet whether i may have retained placenta or they may have left some swabs onside me during the c section. Its fair to say im very fed up x

Oh Blu that sucks. What's the next step now? No wonder you're fed up xx are you still bleeding? Thinking of you and sending hugs, hope it's as simple as possible to fix.
Hopie try not to worry, surely you're near to 12 weeks and 2nd tri by now? So sickness would be easing up now anyway. When's your next scan? Hugs girls xx

Im still bleeding got to stay in tonight, miss my boys so much.im having a repeat scan tomorrow with an obstetric specialist - if there is something in my uterus then i need to go to theatre, if not they will give me something to stop the bleeding. What a nightmare!!

Ah hopie I am glad you are feeling more positive, though I was hoping you were miraculously better! Have you got a date for your 12 week scan yet?
Good luck for your scan tomorrow Blu I hope there's nothing retained and you can just go home asap tomorrow back to your boys.
I'm ok thanks, having a few twinges now and again but don't think they're going to amount to anything yet, I pretty much feel normal apart from huge and achy!
I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's day, we fixed the isofix base and installed the car seat and also put the buggy together then had an Indian tonight. We're ready for him now!

Huge hugs Blu, that sucks! You have had enough bleeding for a lifetime now and I hope there is nothing retained and you can go home to your boys.

Sounds like you had a productive Valentines Day Jaspie, Baby J can show up anytime now!!

Sorry you're still feeling sick Hopie but it is a good sign! When are they doing your genetic testing? I remember how nerve-wracking it was waiting for those results.

My luck has to change at some point... i have retained placenta and a large haematoma in my womb so im booked to go for a D&C for clear out tomorrow morning, what a nightmare.

Oh no Blu xx Ugh I bet you are so glad that this is your last pregnancy! Good luck for the d&c hope it goes well, I barely bled after mine so fx for the same for you.

Oh Blu. So sorry you are going through this. Glad though they figured it out and now know what needs to be done. I didn't have any bleeding either after d and c. I remember waking up feeling surprisingly good. You will too. This will end soon and you will be back home with your boys.

Jaspie- glad you guys had a great Valentine's day and you are feeling good, despite achey! Yeah, so much for miraculously feeling better. lol
12 week scan is Feb. 26.

Fit- how was Thomas' appointment? Yes, I can imagine how nerve racking it is waiting for the test results. I guess I will start with the bloodwork this week. Want to do CVS, since it is more definitive but doctor said there is a m/c risk with that.

So sorry to hear that Blu, but glad you have a plan so you can get well and get out of there.

Thomas's appointment went great - he has gained like a champion and was up to 9 lbs. 11 oz (was 8 lbs. 7 oz at birth). I still bf him non-stop but we have to top him up with formula to satisfy him. Even after he drains both breasts he's still hungry.

Can't wait for your next scan Hopie. Maybe the Harmony/Panorama would be a good choices since it's very accurate with no miscarriage risk?

Yes, I should go for the blood test Harmony this week. I've been putting it off..so much &$*# going on with my parents.. but need to do it. Then with 12 week nt scan next week, I should have an idea if it is a healthy pregnancy.

Hey everyone lovely to read all the updates, happy to report that surgery went well and im at home with my boys. Just enjoying post milky snuggles with Jakey 😍

Fit dont feel bad about the formula, youve done fab to bf at all, its so tough. It sounds like thomas is significantlu smaller than jake who is a complete fatty!!

Jaspie!!! So so close. Any signs yet?

Woke up 5am vomiting (sorry!) 20 times. Worried I couldnt take my mom up to hospital for f/u but I made it and it went well! Was feeling so much better after Zofran we shared a pizza. So sick of toast and now pizza is the only thing I can eat!

Thanks for the encouragement. I hope so but still just so unsure on this pregnancy. Next week's 12wk scan will tell a lot!

Hi girls! I finally got a chance to catch up on all of your updates. Blu Im so sorry you had to go through all that! very scary and Im so glad all is ok now and that you are home with your boys. Hopie, just remember being sick is a good sign! I definitely think you are going to bring this group our one baby girl!!!!cant wait to hear how your 12 week scan goes. What week did you need to get through to be the furthest along you've ever been???? Jaspie I cant wait for baby J to get here!!!! youre so close. all the best stuff is coming!!! Fit, how are you and Thomas doing? This breast feeding thing is hard but we are doing great! and our boys will put on the weight The last couple weeks have been tough being back at work! im pretty much exhausted even if hes sleeping and feel like there arent enough hours in the day! last friday my milk supply (atleast pumping wise) dropped significantly probably due to stress, exhaustion and that i ran out of my supplements for 2 days. Then Monday Jameson had a weight check appt and the dr is still not happy with his weight gain. Hes right on the curve but to close to being under weight, so with my milk being low and then that I was just bawling. so the Dr's solution was for me to pump and measure out all of his meals and bottle feed them and make sure he is having about 25 oz a day for the next week. So I did that for the first day, but that is not working for us... I might as well give up breast feeding and switch to formula if we are going be eating from a bottle every meal and I have to sit there and pump while dad feeds him. So I decided Im his Mom I need to trust my gut. So I have uped him a half oz each feeding and I am giving him two bottles at home in addition to what he has with his aunt all day, but if he wakes up in the middle of the night Im breast feeding and Im doing half bottle half breast feed before bed. The dr may think its just important to get those oz in, but its about more than that for us... Im away from him all day we need our breast feeding time. I also dont know if this is even something to worry about, he is a happy healthy boy who is always content after each breast feeding session. I feel like everything and every one has been against us breast feeding... but im so not ready to give it up! even pumping at work isnt that hard I could do this but not if i have to pump every meal or the dr keeps saying its not good enough.

can you tell I'm a little stressed?! on a happier note, today Jameson is 3 Months old!! Ill post his 3 month pics after we take them this evening

I think youre right about trusting your gut instinct when it comes to feeding. The Health visitor is coming to see us on monday and I have the opposite concern.... I think she will tell me that Jake is gaining weight too quickly, hes such a chunk! This motherhood malarky os a constant challenge isnt it x

Hopie fingers crossed for your scan I really think it will be fine and this is your rainbow! Cant wait for your update afterwards, sorry youre still sick and things are not so good with your parents hopefully this turns around soon.
I'm having lots of low pelvic pain which I don't know whether it's late onset spd kind of thing or if it's just how my body is preparing, either way I've been struggling just walking the last couple of days. Hope it goes away! I still feel labour will be after 40 weeks!
Blu and Fit hope you're both good, good luck with the HV Blu I'm sure she'll just say what a healthy baby Jake is!

Thanks girls! its one of my fav family pics that we did im so glad i was able to vent on here, ive been feeling a little better. I just hate that im away from him, I hate hearing that my milk isnt making him gain enough wait. and I hate feeling like I might have to give up breast feeding. also I wish my husband made boat loads of money so I could stay home have a nice weekend everyone and jaspie I really hope you dont go past 40 weeks!!

Jaspie!!! Sounds like a little something may be starting? Soo excited for you! Thank you for the well wishes. I am grateful now the Zofran seems to be working and I get a few hours in of no ms and being able to eat pizza!!

Blu- so happy you're doing well. How are you feeling today? "Jake is a chunk"..haha! Just so adorable.. i love his cheeks.

Bernie- great to hear from you. I bet it is really tough on you and also exhausting with working, feeding, pumping. Just know you are doing everything right. And go with your mother's instinct- you said he seems perfectly content after eating. Will he start on baby cereal soon? I used to babysit a baby who was very small, the mother was bfeeding only. After a few months she started on baby cereal mixed with formula and the weight quickly came on! I say this weekend, hubby watches Jameson for a while and you go to a spa for a nice facial, massage or manicue. Even a 30 minute foot reflexology will do wonders and is cheap! I can't wait to go to one when I feel better.

Bernie, im hoping to win the lottery too haha, being a working mummy isnt easy is it. Sounds like youre doing a great job!
Jaspie the countdown is on, very exciting. Cant believe how far weve all come in a year 😄
Fit hows little Thomas? Hope youre well too.
As for me, my bleeding is minimal at last. Im a little crampy but i suppose thats all the fiddling around with my uterus. Unfortunately DH is full of cold this weekend so our plana have fallen by the wayside but Im just going to enjoy a soak in the bath then knock us up a yummy lamb curry for tea and were going to veg on the sofa and watch a film together with nibbles.... back in the diet monday haha x

Bernie- sorry- forgot to answer. Yes, this is the farthest I have made it in pregnancy. But last year's scan was just before 9 weeks, and during 9 weeks is when things went wrong last time. So 12 wk visit will tell a lot.
