working from home? ADVICE NEEDED...

but why claiming incapcity benifit? im so confused

Do u mean sick notes that she is submitting for her Incapacity Benefit claim?

Sick notes need to be submitted for that..

Yeah i know for incapacity you have to, but Louise isn't getting that she is getting income support
unless i have got confused along the way
(that happens more than you would think lol)

and also jacked job in didn't go on long term sick, which would lead to IB unless i missed something

Benefits completley addle my head TBH

They confuse me too.

See 3 years ago when i moved in with Rob, he was meant to be on incapacity benefit but on the papers it said income support. When we went to the job centre with enquiries we would say he gets income support (as the papers say) but they would say no, hes on incapacity.

Right, here goes.

Incapacity benefit is payable if u have paid enough NI contributions, Louise hasn't therefore its paid via income support, but its still classed as IB, and she still has to submitt med certs.

Im trying to make sense lol x

Right that makes more sense
Still an arse about way of doing it though isn't it??

yeah it is totally confusing
