I still have not decided what to do :( its 4 weeks till it  AND i have still not got his pressie i wont have the money till 1 week before it, spending 100 in next for clothes and 100 on toys and that .. is that enough:( my friends LO 1st birthday soon and she has got her soo much and i feel awful:(

remember honey, he wont remember so what ever you do will be wonderful for him! why not a nice party at home or take him some where fun like the zoo, just being with his mummy will be great :D

One tip for both of you...don't go overboard that don't appreciate it and often get overwhelmed by toys ...you'll also find they are more interesting in the boxes,

I wouldn't bother wrapping all the clothes just a few and i would say £50 for toys is plenty, get little toys or if you want to spend £100 what about a bike?? Thats what we got for first birthday x

Oh and for the day why not take him to soft play and then after invite family and a few friends for cake...he'll love all the attention x

Thanks girls:hugs: i guess i felt like i am leaving it a bit late, There a soft play area restaurant thing here i could take him there to play and have dinner, then have family + cake in my house:D

awww sounds lovely :D

I think it'd be much better to do something for the day rather than overwhelm him with gifts. I mean, people will do it and that's their choice but at the end of the day time with you and the people he knows and loves will be the best gift! (it's a bit soppy, I know!)
