Also about the 'disgusting' thing - if you mean who I think you mean, I think you have got the wrong end of the stick, and she was in NO WAY saying that Formula was disgusting, in fact she is a FFer.

I don't think anyone was ganging up on you hun. I do feel the need to point out that just because you took something to mean something, it may not have done. You did say putright it was disgusting. Unfortunately that's a pretty strong word and people are bound to disagree

No, not at all. I don't see where you get that.

Anyhow, you said wet nursing was disgusting, so why get upset at the idea that someone would say FF is disgusting? (which they didn't, anyway.)

I don't think so. If i said i'd rather have a shower than a bath I wouldn't be saying baths are disgusting?!

I don't think anyone really meant that either formula feeding or breast feeding through wet nurse or not is disgusting, one will just be the wrong/right choice for you if you found yourself in that situation.

As i said before i couldn't do it, I wouldn't want another woman feeding my child and i also wouldn't want another women's milk given to my baby. I think I'm just weird about things like this. I wouldn't accept a blood transfusion a while back because I just couldn't get my head around someone elses blood in my body. I know that will prob sound strange. Obviously if it was life or death and i needed blood or an organ then of course my opinion would change iykwim

it wouldnt bother me TBH.
I guess some people, myself included would love their baby to be breastfed rather than formula.
I was all prepared to BF with ella after having a rough time trying with my first but again, I only managed 3wks.
I dont have a problem whatsoever with formula, I was an SMA baby, my son thrived on Farleys and Ella doing well on SMA.
But, if I had a friend/sister etc I would happily let them of fed Ella or expressed up until 6mths.
If it was good enough for the royal family..

I dont think its discusting, and I dont think thats realy what people are saying im a ff and if I had known that it exsisted at the time I think I might have considered a milk bank (would have to be from somewhere fully tested not a friend or anything) purely because of the added antibodies he would get.
but I by no means think any method is discusting

Psssh, i did have BnB until they blocked it because it was on the log too often, so now i have to resort to drinking tea and eating biscuits, and maybe a bit of work
