does anyone do xmas shopping on xmas eve?? Were off to milton keynes, BUT going to have to go to sainsburys and getting the last bit of foody things! Im stressing so much lol

We went for our food bits and bobs 2 years ago when I was heavily pregnant.. NIGHTMARE. The aisles were gridlock and we queued in M&S for over an hour ! No idea about other shopping but I imagine it'd be more of the same.

Noooooooo way!! It's bad enogugh right now. I worked a xmas eve shift at a supermarket once and people actually got viscious and even physically fought over sprouts!! No way am I risking an elbow to the stomach :s good luck make sure someone looks out for you.xxx

I got to Tescos first thing on Christmas Eve morning to get my milk, bread, potatoes, fresh veg ect. ect. If that counts

OH will be in bed as leep as he is on nights.

I did it on Xmas eve last year and it wasnt that bad.

Me and my mum normally get the last few asda bits Christmas eve, we love it! Leave maddi with DH, get out early and don't normally have lots to get. Pre-Maddi we've even done town, just for a look though!

I think im gonna do our food shop middle of the night say 2/3am while James and the kids are sleeping, less people about so should be pretty stress free, wont bs going anywhere near town though!!

Not sure yet, my Dad is going on 23rd but both my parents are working on the 24th so I volunteered to get any bits that they need

It is always a bit crazy in supermarkets, and I advise every one to not leave it until just before store closing, I worked Christmas Eve and people come last minute for the bargains (we werent open on Christmas day or boxing day so loads reduced) and people were having full on physical fights and I got a punch to my bump

My mum goes to town to look what things are half price. Usually phones me and asks if oh will give her a lift home as she can't carry them all.
