afternoon ladies!

Sorry I haven't posted over the weekend! I rarely get chance to come on unless I'm at work (supposed to be working of course....) hope everyone is ok?

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my little girl's name I can't wait til she gets here! It's so exciting getting all her little clothes and nursery ready - I just want her here to put her in them all

The weather is so much better today isnt it? I can't believe how much it rained Friday and Sunday!!

OH has been watching the Ryder cup all weekend (snore.....zzzzzzzzzz) so I've been banished to my bedroom watching DVD's...that Dorian Gray film is the most bizarre thing i've ever seen....

Awww bless FIL is he ok now Katie? How did you find it at Bradford? Do they have a birthing centre over there?

The Halifax birthing centre is lovely i really liked it but i was a chicken and wanted to be where the epidurals were

Thanks everyone! I ended up dream feeding her, changed her bum before i fed her thinking it might stir her a little she just laid there totally out of it. Bless!!! yes think she is teething she got her first tooth last week but hasn't had much problem with them till now. She is also abit snuffly but dont know if that her teeth.

Oh bless him Kaite glad he is well xx Thats it with halifax and i suppose hudds, it is so far if anything goes wrong in an emergancy. Like you Sarah-Jane you must have been terrified.

I like the idea of a BC but i suppose you really never know the way things will happen. I prefer to take the safe approach, well safest i believe!

Defo, it certainly must have been scary you for Sarah-Jayne!

Re: Epidurals, I was so agaisnt anyone sticking a needle that big in me but didn't feel the spinal at all so if there ever is a next time it will still be the delivery suite for me . . . just in case!

Katie my friend is a bit scared of the epidural too but i said that if you get to that point the thought of the needle isn't that bad after all

Hi Alison hows it going? You been up to anything fun?

Oh Louise bless her sounds like she could have a bit of a cold. Do you give calpol at all? i find it settles him when he's feeling ill.

Vanessa you should tell OH you have the right to the living room with carrying his child for nine months and giving birth, what you say goes hehe although i bet it was nice to relax on the bed rather than the sofa!

Town for me today, need to get some curtains for Kaydens bedroom. We had it plastered a few weeks ago so need to paint it too but need to wait till next week when dh is off work so i can watch him paint it....!

ha ha ha Aimee no such bloomin' luck OH is a remote control Nazi! We're only ever allowed to watch Simpsons, Sky Sports or Sky Sports News, Nat Geo or Discovery Channel! I missed Britain's Next Top Model final last night grr!! Thankfully I've recorded it!

he won't sit and watch a tv programme with me either he always just disappears to another room! I like frivolous stuff like The Hills, and Friends and stuff you dont have to think too deeply on!

Oh no, poor you! That must be a pain I like the same programmes as you.

Well I always let him pick the colour himself and he has always picked green as it is his fave colour. This time though he has chose baby blue which is much moreto my taste. The greens he pick are always really bright limes!

It must be really nice doing a girly nursery and buying the girls clothes there is some really nice stuff about for girls at the moment xx

I GET MARRIED TOMORROW!!!


im so excited and nervous. Everything is sorted im at the beauticians this afternoon having my nails done. The weather forcast keeps changing from cloudy to sunny to raining so gods know what it will be like. But im not bothered just cant wait to see my OH all dressed up and all my guests and Isabelle has the most beautiful dress!!

I probably wont get chance to come back on so wish me luck and ill post piccies when im back from my honeymoon after the weekend!!! xxx

everyone and hello new ladies! Hope you all had a good weekend! We went out for a lovely walk on Saturday with Dylan in the sling

I caught sight of mention of epidurals??? God if I could book one I'd have baby number 2 tomorrow Never thought I'd want one but By the time I finally made it to labour suite after all the faffing (waters broke early, had to be induced, spent a lot of time after being induced waiting for there to be room for me in labour suite whilst contracting!!!!!) I was soooooooo knackered that the pain once they got me on the drip was too much. I couldn't move as I was on a monitor, and I ended up vomiting with the pain (wasn't even on paracetamol at that point was totally dry of pain relief!). Gas and air helped me wait for the busy anaesthatist but I did't even feel the epidural go in, and then I felt sod all for ages, managed to have a few hours kip for the first time in days

Meant I had lots of energy left for pushing and we all ended up enjoying the birth so much - I could also feel the contractions towards the end to know when to push, felt fantastic!

it soo is!! grrr!! He always moans theres nothing on tv and I'm like -theres tons on you just don't want to watch it!!

Aww Green is my fave colour though not the bright greens good choice on baby blue though!

I've actually done the nursery in neutrals - I've attached some pictures for you to see - just so we can save the bedding and stuff for a second baby etc but I'm having tons of fun buying so many cute girly things the nursery still needs a few bits doing to it but most of it is sorted

I do hope I'm lucky enough to have a boy next though as well - would be ace to have one of each though any child is a blessing of course!

thank you kte! we bought the wardrobe and drawers from Tesco Direct for £150 and the cot for £60 - I refused to pay for furniture because it was specifically for the "nursery" add nursery or wedding before anything and the prices get ridiculous!!

sjminimac I'm not too sure hun - I'm stuck at work during the day so I've no clue where is good to go suppose I'll have to get clued up on kids stuff to do lol! xx

Nessicle: You did right about the furniture! We didn't spend a fortune as we got the wardrobe and changer from ikea but it's still for 'baby' and I could serioulsy do with a bigger wardrobe for her already!

I know that feeling any baby groups locally? I have been going to soft play sometimes when the weather is bad - Dylans too young to play yet but have been able to meet other mummies and he just sleeps through it anyway

If the weather is okay there isthere a park to have a walk around? Even taking Dylan down to the doctors with me yesterday in the sling was an escape from the house

Vanessa your nursery is gorgeous! Really nice and your so lucky to get to do one We only got a 2 bed house could really do with a three.

I have been in town all day like a mad woman running around. I wish i could relax but i just want to get in and get what i need!

My hubby's mates wife just found out shes pregnant shes really excited!

Sarah-jane is there anything up by you to do with charlie? We got a surestart at almondbury they do a few stuff you shoud come up. They been doing baby massage but i forgot to go last week

Lia the epi didn't work properly for me it only numbed my right side
