Aww bless her is she ok today? Is she a little unwell or teething? If she has a bottle at the same time everyday then i'd try give it her while asleep at the same time xx

Morning Jem, just the usual daily stuff here. kayden forgot his packed lunch so going to have to take a walk to the school to give it him. He would actually forget his head if it wasn't attached...

hi. I'm sarah jane, is anyone from huddersfield? Xx

Hi Sarah Jane, yes i'm from Hudds and so is Mummy0704. Where abouts are you? xx

 Hi sjminimac - I'm from Brighouse so kind of near to Hudds.

Morning all! :flower:

hi, i live near asda in the new housing development, so not too far from brighouse either x

One of my friends lives up there, she is 20 odd weeks pregnant! Charlie is gorgeous, how you finding being a mum? Is he your first?

thanks! There seems to be a baby boom round here at the moment, lots of my neighbours have had babies! i'm loving being a mum, didn't realise exactly how much it would turn my life upside down and completely change my outlook and priorities. Every day is amazing. How about you? Where in hudds are you? Do you just have the one football star (who's gorgeous by the way)?

Awww thank you :D I have another little, well not so little boy who is 7. He is hard work though! i agree there is a baby boom here at the moment it is crazy!

Did you have Charlie at Halifax or Hudds BC? having a baby does totally change your out look on life :cloud9:

I still get totally overwhelmed now as well but love being a Mummy :D

I agree, big baby boom! When I was pregnant my cousin was due a week before me and my aunt the week after! A similar thing has happend to my sis with her two friends expecting either side of her. Not to mention 3 cousins having babies in between and a friend as well  :haha:

I was planning on going to Halifax BC but we ended up going to Bradford as literally a week after I started MAT leave OH's dad had an annurisum and was in ICU at Bradford. We ended up staying with his Mum ('MIL') until his Dad came out of hospital which was the Thursday after Chloe was born (on the Sun).

(Sorry just jumping in mid convo!)

Awww bless FIL is he ok now Katie? How did you find it at Bradford? Do they have a birthing centre over there?

The Halifax birthing centre is lovely i really liked it but i was a chicken and wanted to be where the epidurals were :haha:

i had charlie in huddersfield birthing centre, labour was very long (49 hours!) but got sent home midway through after my contractions slowed. Bit traumatic, he was fine but i just wouldn't stop bleeding so within an hour of him being born we were all raced across to halifax. So i got to experience both! I had my natural birth using just paracetamol and gas and air, but as it took so long and he got stuck twice and my bp went sky high (!)i was told that if i'd have gone to halifax i'd have had an emergency c section so next time i'm just heading straight over there! :)

Yes he is thanks :flower: He was really really lucky. It was a 'triple A' but thankfully he called the ambulance when he did. He beat a lot of statistics, think the impending arrival of his only grandchild helped him pull through as he was/is so smitten with her. Evey time we went to visit he would tell me off for turning up which meant I wasn't in labour!

I'm not sure if they do have a BC! Sounds daft but because I transfered over at the last min I had to go into the delivery suite, but I'm glad I did! I was lucky as the pool was free so I got to go in there but Chloe got stuck so then I was taken back into a delivery room for a bit but then when they realised what happend I was taken into theater - when we had the tour around Halifax I rememberd them saying what would happen if things went arry - I wouldn't of fancied a bed trip from the BC to the the delivery ward through the back corridoors!

Oh bless him Kaite glad he is well xx Thats it with halifax and i suppose hudds, it is so far if anything goes wrong in an emergancy. Like you Sarah-Jane you must have been terrified.

I like the idea of a BC but i suppose you really never know the way things will happen. I prefer to take the safe approach, well safest i believe!
