I'm not going to be able to make it today now! Argh, but it's nice because OH has booked me a surprise hair appointment at 2.30 as a treat bless him, trust him to clash, I'm normally just stuck in cleaning and playing!

The lizard place is nice, it was pretty busy but it was a Saturday afternoon so kind of expected! We found a nice comfy couch to sit on and babies were very well behaved - we even saw the legendary lizard! We won't be able to make next Saturday as we are away at MIL and FIL's, but will come to any future meets. Don't know if anyone is able to do weekdays? It may be quieter then?

we had a really lovely afternoon, and we didn't even get round to buying coffee and cake! Frankie is such a lovely little man, very bright and alert and mellow I agree about a week day. Only times i can't do generally is thursday mornings (jo jingles) and friday afternoons (baby yoga) xx

It will sound completely insincere now but I can honestly say that I have always thought your Charlie to be one of the most beautiful babies on any avatar on here and he really lives up to it in the flesh. Really enjoyed seeing you today and look forward to another meet up very soon xx

Hi to the new ladies - like a little slice of Yorkshire in here so nice more people are finding the thread, have only been on BnB ooh probably nearly a couple of years maybe now and all other attempts at local threads seemed to very much fizzle! Not from round here myself originally so really nice to "meet" other mums! IIRC ladies one of the lovely ladies here popped some info about us all on the first page of the thread?

Ooh I would love meetups - weekdays also okay for me - we have various bits and bobs of baby stuff on but generally I think Weds afternoons are the only ones that we would really struggle to do, as we do baby massage / yoga for the next few weeks.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are probably best days for us but we can certainly do the others if that worked better for others. We have started going for a walk on Friday mornings with the yummy mummies from one of our groups much coffee and cake involved there too haha.

Eep....hubby calling.....hope you are all having a nice weekend ladies!

Sounds like you had a fab time!! Week days are better for me cos hubby is in bed cos he works nights so it's good to get Nathan out of the house so hubby can sleep in peace!

I can't make week days But hey-ho, i'm sure we can mix the meets up a bit so we all get in at some point.

pinkandfluffy - Totally agree about Yorkshire meets, glad this thread is doing so well! OH was on a car forum once a while back and Yorkshire was always a hard one to get meets together as it's so big! He was the nominated RMO (regional meet officer) for that forum too.
