Mine is being in town in the lead up to christmas: the dark evenings, all the festive lights, and the christmas displays in shop-windows ... the feeling of excitement and magic in the air. My favourite time of year!

My favorite thing about Christmas is just the way Everything makes me feel. Indescribable, really, but it's just a combination of the music, lights, displays, decorations, people (usually) seeming happier, etc etc.

my favourite things about xmas are... watching my childrens faces light up when they open their presents
seeing my hubby in his xmas undies,
kissing under the misseltoe,
ringing the bell for santas sleigh,
decorating the tree and house,
making xmas breakfast,
singing xmas carols,
and of course...
making homemade xmas pictures with the kids, making mince pies and xmas sausage meat and clementine stuffing mmmmmmmm nom nomz.

Rose those lights are WAY better than our town's ones!

I love the lights and the cold- and the fact that everyone you pass in the street actually says hello and smiles! (OK I know a lot of people do anyway but at Christmas even the grumpy ones do!)

Oh, and I love the food!

I love everything apart from the Christmas shopping. I love the cosy nights in, mulled wine, mince pies, the excitement in the air, and the snow if we are lucky enough to get it and it isn't too bad!

I just love it all it would probably be easier if I told you the one thing I dislike about Christmas which is the extra busy supermarkets when people buy food like it is the end of the world, not just that the shops are closed for 2 days lol!!!

But I just love the excitment, being with family, the food, seeing the kids faces, the magic, Xmas decorations.....oh just all of it!!!

I love the food, the lights and decorations, seeing family you wouldn't normally see, and the excuse to CONSTANTLY shop guilt free!!!
