Just curious - do you listen to your music when your toddler can hear or not? If so, why or why not?
I was just listening to Adele's 21 and it reminded my that my friend's 2.5 yo DD can actually sing much of the lyrics to Rolling in the Deep, Rumor Has It, etc. Clearly she listens to it a lot.
I've never really listened to my music around my kids -- on purpose I think. Adele's album is fairly benign, I guess. But then I switched over to Rufus Wainwright and his Want Two album -- The One I Love, The Art Teacher, and Gay Messiah are definitely not songs I'd want my toddler knowing the lyrics to!
So, what is your policy? Do you think it matters?
