10-12 year old what are you buying them?

It's such a difficult age too old for toys yet too young for some of the older teenage stuff...so what are you buying them?

DD1 is 10 this year and I'm finding it the hardest year yet

For her main present she is getting a kindle fire or an equivilant tablet.
Other things she is getting are
* Slushy maker cup
* Puzzles
* John Adams Grafix tracer
* Books
* DVDs
* DS games

I'm not sure what else yet, maybe just some more crafty bits.

My niece is nine and I'm struggling for ideas. Last year we took her to smyths and let her pick out a few things, which were all monster high stuff..might have to do the same this year I think

My eldest is nearly 13 and he has a 40" flat screen tv 3 pre ordered Xbox 360 games there so expensive so told him he can only have 3. 12 months xbox live membership new head set then he will get clothes shoes pjs chocolate and no idea what else very difficult age x

My Niece is 9 turning 10 on New Years Day. I agree it is a really difficult age! She really likes fashion and girlie things so I usually buy her something from Primark. This year I have seen some nice bracelets on Amazon similar to Pandora bracelets but muuuuch cheaper. Her Mum wears a pandora bracelet so she will have something similar to wear and the charms are a good quality. I wanted to get her something a little more 'grown up' as toys are definitely on there way out!
