19, in Uni and trying for a baby.

I hate feeling nauseous!
So I found out that there could be a chance being pregnant if your period is watery. If there's more watery discharge than blood. I found that very interesting!

Fingers crossed!

I'm Deffo out. Temp back below coverline.

Hi I know this conversation started a while ago but I just thought I would say I'm in a similar situation! I'm in my final year at uni and my boyfriend and I have decided to try for a baby. I can understand reservations about studying and trying for a baby as I have them too. However, I think if your ready you just deal with the timing if it's what you both want :)

Welcome Lkg, join in on the conversation, the more the merrier! we are all here to support eachother :)

How long have you been trying for?

We decided last week. I've just stopped my birth control now so hopefully it won't take too long :) how about everyone else? It seems like a frustrating process even though I haven't started it yet :/ haha

Yes it really is!

Guys, I've been having really bad pains and just went to the toilet, wiped and there was the smallest amount of blood :( it was really bright as well, so don't think its my month :(

:( is this your first month of trying? And were you on birth control? If so it takes a while for your cycle to regulate so maybe you have a better chance next month :)

Welcome Lkg!

Even though you didn't ask me I'll tell you about my ttc experience. We been trying for almost a year. I haven't been on bc in about 2 maybe 3 years. I always been irregular until June... Although I didn't get my af in July. My cycle seems to be normal since the witch came around 3 month straight. I'm waiting for it to be over so I can ttc normal before the hubby and I go see a specialist, which I'm afraid to do. Plus that's $ we can be saving.

Hey 😀
I can see your frustration...it must be hard! I'm hoping it won't take to long to fall pregnant, however I have been on bc for 6 years so I'm not sure. I know before I went on the pill I wasn't regular! Hopefully it will happen for us all soon 😃

Hey ladies. Reading about bc, I have a question. I was on triphazil bc pills for about 5years,had my AF every m0nth,never skipped.Been of it for about 3 months, got my af,and according to my charts,I do ovulate,as there is a temp spike (1 month of charting, and ff also indicated ovulation) Now,does that mean the bc is out of my system? Cycles regular between 26-28 days? Any help? Just worried it's not out yet?

How you ladies doing? lerp and wishing, any af yet? Kazine, you sure it's af?
Also,welcome lkg!

I've gotten my AF on the 11th its ending. Although its been kinda watery-ish, sorry for the tmi but they say, according to what I read online, there could still be a change of being pregnant.

Hi There Destiny!!

Thank you, that sets my mind a bit at ease! I thought it was out, but just wanted to confirm, as my DH was worried it might take a while, seeing his cousin took like 3 years to fall pregnant after kicking the pill!!

Ahhhhhh that's great! Well, at this stage I'm in the Northern Cape, about an hour from Kimberley, in a small town called Hartswater. Originally from Lichtenburg in North West. Also, I stayed in Caledon in the Western Cape for a while, close to Riversdale!!

I'm also due to O within the next week or two, who knows, maybe we strike lucky this month :) I'm keeping FX'd for you to have a successful month!!

Naaaaahhhh!! Bulls all the way ;)

Also having another question today. Lol

Since I'm no longer on the pill, I've been having 3-4 day (Medium Flow) AF while on bc it was normally 5 days. Is this normal? Is this enough or should I be worried?

oh i know Caledon! Thats awesome haha. and my best friend at school was a bulls supporter too lol

my system took 6 months to get back to normal after my implant.

I also had a shorter period after implant. it used to be 7/8 days, but this time was only 5. i cant tell you if its normal, but i had the same thing!
