Hi ladies! This thread is for those of us who are pregnant with number two and due in March, 2016. I'm loving the bigger threads, but sometimes feel lost in there! Thought maybe we could chat about specifics to this being our second baby-to-be (along with whatever else!)

Would anyone like to join me?! :flower:

:hi:
I'm in the March monkeys thread too and know what you mean! Awesome that there are so many but so hard to keep track of everyone! I'm 5+2 and praying this bean will be sticky and will be my number #2. I have a DS who is almost 5. 😊

YES! Exactly. Everyone is super sweet & im trying to keep up, but it's really hard! Sometimes it's nice to be part of the big group, but also have a smaller group to go to.

My DD is 2, & I'm 4+2 with #2. Also praying for a sticky bean! How do you feel about this pregnancy, in relation to your DS? Have you told him yet?

I totally agree!

In comparison to previous 4 pregnancies I'm feeling most confident about this one. The first 2 losses were in 2012 and having never had multiple losses I think I was just blissfully unaware of a lot during those. My hcg levels so far are rising nicely so I'm cautiously hopeful.
DS knows I'm "trying to get a baby in my tummy" and he really wants a sister but until I get further along I'm not telling him I actually have a baby in there. Lol .... what about your DD?

H&H 9 months to us both!!!!

Yes, thank you!!

I've told DD. she doesn't remember unless I remind her :haha: when I do, she comes over and rubs my belly & gives it a kiss. :cloud9:

I am worried though... Worried about having 2. About loving this baby as much as I love DD. Everyone says you just do, but I just can't imagine loving anyone as much as her. It's really scary. Not to mention I had a really traumatic labor & postpartum with DD, so I'm afraid of that too....

Hi Ladies I would love to join you!

I don't do too well in bigger groups I get lost and confused haha
DS is 15months at the moment, we are 5+2 with second. I'm excited but trying to hold of from getting too carried way with it just yet.
Hope everyone is feeling good

 welcome xstwx! I know what you mean about not getting too carried away!

I'm feeling..... Okay. My biggest pregnancy symptom at the moment is sore breasts & fatigue.

My biggest "issue" at the moment are my allergies. I have dermagraphic urticaria & Chronic angioedema. If you don't know what that is, picture feeling as if you have an itchy mosquito bite that covers your entire body. Also, I can "write" on my skin using pressure (like my fingernail) & it will form a hive in the exact formation I wrote in. Anyway, to keep those symptoms at bay, I take Zyrtec. My ob said I can't take Zyrtec in the first trimester. So I went off it 3 days ago. I'M IN AGONY. Everything that touches my skin, every little rub, anything just sets me off in an itching frenzy. Currently waiting to hear back from my ob about if there is ANYTHING safe to take...

Update: Ob is allowing me to continue Zyrtec as my case is a special one (not "normal" allergies). Zyrtec is a class B drug, which apparently means it has been tested in animals and had no issues there, but there's not enough evidence in humans for them to deem it 100% safe. Still haven't taken it though; trying to do some of my own research first. Was really upset/emotional about it yesterday. Really wanted to talk to DH about it, but he's been working long hours lately. I'd just feel awful & to blame if anything were wrong with my baby because I took the meds.

Sorry to get so heavy..... How is everyone else doing?

Wow! I'm so sorry your going through that! I wish there was a quick simple easy fix for you. Surly they wouldn't have said it's ok to take it if it's not? I can't think of a natural version of it but I will keep thinking.
My biggest symptom right now is fatigue and bloating lol I already feel like the size of a whale that could sleep strait for the next week.

Thank you so much for your supportive words.

LOL! I know what you mean about the sleep! I feel like I could never get enough!!!

Onto a lighter topic - Have you thought about names yet??

So sorry bellarosa that you're having to stress about it but I agree, doc would not say ok if it's not. Plus if you're constantly uncomfortable without it that's going to have you stressed too and that's not good. Hope you feel better.
I feel tired all the time but then when I actually go to sleep i wake up a few hours later and can't fall back asleep. 😕

No name discussion here yet.., I feel like I just want to be out of the first trimester so I can relax a bit and start enjoying pregnancy rather than waiting for it to go wrong.

Thank you Cami. I'm just nervous I guess. :(

Ugh! I hate that. Are you able to nap during the day at all?

Completely understandable. I would be too. :hugs:

I have this week because I've been on vacation since Saturday. We rented a cabin on a lake so it's been perfect timing to keep me from stressing too much and I've been able to map. Next week is back to work though so napping will no longer be an option.

We haven't even really thought of names yet.....I feel OH doesn't quite believe me that we are pregnant. He is always rolling his eyes when I am tired or sick or he snaps when I get moody. I dunno maybe after dr on Aug 12th and he sees it's actually all real he will calm down a bit and be more on board. we shall see.
Have you thought of any names yet?

Cami - hope you're enjoying your vacation! Make sure to rest up now while you can! I'm on vacation too - summer break because I'm a teacher. It's nice to get the R&R (when DD's napping anyway!)

Xstwx- :( I'm sorry to hear your SO is being a grouch! I hope he gets on board soon! My DH & I chose the name Jacob for a boy because we were team yellow when we were pregnant with DD. I'm pushing Ava for a girl, but DH's brother used to have a dog named Ava :dohh: so he says he associates it with the dog & isn't sure (but he's not saying no.... I think he's getting used to the idea :haha: ) we don't have middle names though... Anything I put with Ava, he vetoes. Except Ava Marie. But I'm not 100% loving that middle name. We had Jacob Michael picked as our boy name, but my sister had a boy since then & named him Jayce Michael :( so I think we have to choose a new middle name. DH likes my grandfather's name, so that's a possibility - Jacob Henrik. Definitely different, at least.

Will you girls be finding out the gender? I'm still undecided on that one myself...

Hello hello! Can I join? Just got my bfp at 10dpo so I'm not far along at all! :haha:

Home from vacation today 😕 A week goes way too quick! Had a really good time! Enjoy your summer vacation BellaRosa! Love those names! I'd love Jacob for a boy but it's DH's name and he doesn't like the idea of a junior.

Welcome and congrats Apaki!

Feel like symptoms really kicked in today! Bbs are killing me, super bloated, and nauseous. It's making me very happy though because I'm praying it means this pregnancy is going well.

Thank you! Well it's kinda funny you say that because my DH was supposed to be named Jacob, but when he came out, his dad wanted him to be a junior, so his name is James. DH also doesn't want a junior, so we thought naming a boy Jacob would be slightly like naming him after DH, but not in an obvious way. Kinda odd maybe but it makes sense to us! :haha:

Bittersweet on the symptoms, right? :haha: reassuring but ANNOYING & uncomfortable!
