#2 due in March 2016

hey ladies, can i join? technically my due date is april 7th, but i'll be having a repeat c-section a week early (due to my crohn's disease). so most likely i'll have my 2nd at the end of march!

this seems like a cozy group :)

just got my bfp today at 10 dpo. i got my last two bfp's at 8dpo (one m/c) so i was positive i was out. i even ordered opk's last night, lol. got up this morning and saw my bfp!!

Welcome hon! Congrats on your BFP! I got a BFN at 11dpo so thought I was out too!

So last night my nausea wasn't too bad but I have to pee so much! So frustrating! Also been very tired! I am feeling positive about things but still obviously a but worried. Hanging out for my u/s in 2.5 weeks!

Hi ladies, any strange cravings/ aversions yet? Last night I started to crave beetroot! Weird! Today I have been small amounts regularly and have kept my nausea to a very minimal level!

That's awesome Ruby! You've found something that works for you! I feel SO SICK today. Everything sounds AWFUL and I've had to force myself to eat my daughter's goldfish crackers. I had to go to the grocery store to do the shopping for the week & wanted to vomit everywhere. It's just awful

Hey ladies can I join? I'm in the big March group but it moves too fast for me too :)

I have a daughter who is three, she is so excited about having a sister, not sure what will happen if nabh comes out a boy lol

God symptoms are horrible this time round, so not nice having heartburn after you've swallowed two massive fish oil tablets... Blerk!

How's everyone keeping? I don't have a ticker or anything like that yet but I'm 5w4d, midwife appointment tomorrow!

 hi Kakae! That is too sweet about your DD! Mine was kissing and rubbing my belly when I asked her were the baby was, etc. now every time I ask her where the baby is she points to herself :haha: she IS very interested in babies though, so I have high hopes for her turning into a good big a
sister!

Awwww cute BellaRosa! She drew the cutest picture of us with the baby, I've already bought a frame to put it in and put on the nursery wall :)

Meet with the midwife today and got bloods etc done. I need to book a 12 week scandal and blood test then I see her again after that. I think it's monthly till 28 weeks, fortnightly to 36 weeks and weekly till I pop. Its all getting real now!

How's everyone else getting on?

12 week scandal lol try 12 week scan haha

Exciting! I went from mad to just disappointed that the office had to change my first scan & appointment yesterday, due to "unforeseen circumstances." It was supposed to be August 13th, and will now be August 19th. So I have to almost wait another full week longer than I already was waiting! :grr:

Hi jtink and kakae welcome! :hugs:

How is everyone doing? Sorry you're struggling with nausea Bella. Ruby, no cravings yet!

In fact I'm not feeling very pregnant aside from the fact that I'm exhausted and have sore boobs. No nausea yet which is so weird for me. It's a bit worrying sometimes. And my scan isn't till the 21st of August. Sigh!

kakae: Welcome hon! 12 week scandal! hahaha!

Bella I saw in the other thread your scan was moved- grrr we were going to be on the same day! How frustrating for you!

I have been nauseous for the last few days, all day! But as of yesterday I have been starving and craving really hearty food like pizza, pasta etc. Today for lunch I ate my son's home made sausage rolls, slice of left over pizza and pasta! Feeling good, seems like hearty food helps. When I am hungry I feel awful!

My son is 18 months and just starting to talk so we haven't told him in case he lets the cat out of the bag by pointing at my belly and saying baby or something! We want to keep it a secret for a while longer!

I've actually told my 18 month old! We've been reading some books about the baby in mummy's tummy although I'm not sure he understands a lot. But we don't talk about it a whole lot so not sure he remembers all the time. Also helps that we don't live near family so he can't tell them!

Apaki- reading books is a great idea, I will do that when I am further along too! Is your son a little ball of energy? I have been so tired lately I feel bad that I haven't been playing as much. Luckily my son adores books so sometimes we will sit quietly and read 8 in a row! It scares me sometimes that I'll have a 2 year old and a newborn! Haha!

I don't care what they say about "terrible twos!" I think two is an awesome age! I honestly think that 18 months is a harder age than two. I think you'll be fine, Ruby! Truly! :flow:

AFM, Yes!!!!!! I'm so mad! :grr: they said due to "unforeseen circumstances" I needed to have my appointment changed. I could keep the scan that day, but is have to move the appointment, or I could move both and do both at the same time (it's all in the same office & they like the schedule one after the other). I just went with rescheduling both, because DH Was going to have to leave work early anyway for the 13th. Didn't want him having to take time twice. Now my scan & appt are on August 19th! :grr: so much for calling early to get a good appointment date! Just sucks because it's the reassurance to know everything is going along well, you know??

On another note, MS is kicking my butt. No actual vomiting but I feel naucious ALL.THE.TIME. It's truly awful. Was never this bad with DD. the only thing I really want to eat are veggies and fruits, but they don't hold me long, before I start to feel sick again & everything just sounds GROSS!

bella, such a bummer about your appointment! :( but before you know it, august 19th will be here!

i'm 14 dpo today, and i have my 2nd beta. i really wish i didn't have to do the beta, since it's so stressful to me. but since i am seeing at RE, i need to. i'm glad of the reassurance, but it's also so much stress to worry about numbers. my tests are progressing nicely - today's test is almost darker than the control, so i'm feeling good about today's numbers. think about me ladies!

my boobs have been really sore lately - with my previous pregnancy, that didn't happen until later! i also have started feeling sick if i don't eat soon enough. blech! i had such an easy pregnancy with my son, and it looks like this one isn't going to be as easy, lol!

Good to hear your tests are progressing nicely! Try not to stress about the numbers, more important is the progression xx

Symptoms are horrible ladies but they are also reassuring so hang in there!

Bella: I wish I could only eat fruit abs veggies! I'm craving much heavier unhealthier foods 😁

Good luck jtink! (Even though you don't need the luck - everything will be fine!)

Thanks Ruby... But I'd rather be eating heavier foods & not feeling so sick! :haha:

I bet you poor thing!! Heavier foods definitely help with my nausea. Hope you feel better soon!

We are off to the snow with the extended family today for 2 nights. Hoping no one guesses anything! Be good to be able to relax while everyone keeps my DS entertained! They all adore him which is very cute!

Yay jtink!!! Awesome news! :yipee:

Ruby, have fun! Wow - snow! It's been in the 90s all week here! Can't even THINK about snow now! Enjoy though! :flow:
