4 and 3 -- Graduating class of WTTer's

Oh wow! Huge congratulations! Do you have some names lined up for your little man??

Congratulations, Jess! They would never tell us that early here!

It's a boy!!!! :happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:
I just knew it! After all my dreams I just knew it had to be a boy. We are so excited (especially DH). We definitely wanted our "little man" and we are so over the moon.

We are very blessed to know the u/s tech as her son goes to the school I teach at. She told me to call her this week and she would let me come in off the books and she would see if she could tell the gender. She has been doing this for 18 years and is very skilled so we were so happy when baby FINALLY cooperated for about 5 seconds yesterday and we got to see his boy parts.

Here are some pictures of our little guy :cloud9:

Congrats on the little boy, Jess! How are you feeling? Puppy, how are you as well? You're both getting to the part of pregnancy I really enjoyed! 2nd tri was the best part for me. I had energy and could eat again and had a little bump but wasn't uncomfortable yet (I only ever got sore because of the SPD but it was miserable for the few weeks before I could get it treated). How have you told everyone?

We're doing well. Josie is 15 weeks on Friday so just about 3.5 months. She's such a good baby. She is very content and easy going and everyone comments how relaxed and happy she seems. I really credit co-sleeping and babywearing with that. I know the whole attachment parenting thing isn't for everyone, but it's so much easier for us. If she won't nap during the day and starts getting fussy, I just pop her in her wrap and she's happy as could be. And our nights are awesome. We are only now starting to put her to bed before us which is a bit more challenging, but during the actual overnights when she sleeps with me, she's so good, doesn't cry at all even when she wakes up to eat, and she's started to sleep through the night this past week.

We've been doing a baby massage class for the past 6 weeks, which just ended today. And we have a group of baby friends we meet up with for coffee regularly. We're also going to start going to some other baby groups. We went to a baby music class on Monday with a friend too, which was nice (though she's still maybe a little young since it's hard to hold her and do all the parts of the songs and play the instruments, we might try again when she can sit up). My mom is coming over to visit again next month when she'll be almost 5 months (wow!) and I just signed up for my first post-baby race, a 10 miler in October, though I haven't even started running again yet so gotta get on that. The days just go by so fast that it's hard to fit everything in and go for a run. Soon, I hope!

How is everyone else doing?

Mind, sounds like you have a great little girl there! I am not planning on doing the cosleeping thing, but definitely plan on babywearing - glad it's working for you! I am feeling great so far - tiny little bump, if you can call it that yet, but I'm enjoying the pregnancy and trying not to worry about every little thing!

Mind I'm glad you and Josie are doing so well. I'm not planning on cosleeping either but I already have a baby carrier on my registry that I'm excited about so I do plan on baby wearing.

Puppy I'm glad you are doing well! Have you started feeling any movement yet? If not just wait you will start feeling a few things here and there and then all of the sudden BAM they won't stop moving! Its really great. When do you find out the gender, or are you staying team yellow?

Here is a picture of my 17 week 2 day baby bump. I think my stomach is growing up instead of out lol!

So glad you are both doing so well! I love the baby bump, Jess! And I love that you are starting to feel some movement.

I started getting it right at 15 weeks. There were a few times the week before when, for like 5 seconds, I was like what was THAT?!? But it would disappear so I thought surely it couldn't be baby. Then, yeah, one day it was just like a switch flipped on and I felt her alllll the time. It was great. I miss that now!

I will find out the gender at my 20 week scan - so 3 more weeks! Your bump is so cute, Jess! Mine isn't quite that defined yet. I am 17+2 weeks today, and still haven't felt any movements. My doctor said it's possible that I have an anterior placenta, which could be why I wouldn't feel movements quite yet, but only ultrasound will tell for sure :) Either way, baby does move a lot - we hear him/her moving away from the doppler every time the doctor looks for the heartbeat!

Congratulations Jess a boy woohoo! So happy to hear everything is going great! Your bump is gorgeous!!! How's the baby room going? Are you having a baby shower?

Puppymom glad to hear all is well cant wait to find out what your having super exciting only one week to go!!!!! Will you post a bump pick when your more defined? Xxxx

Mindutopia you sound super busy with Josie sounds wonderful!! We do rhyme time and swimming its fun!

Kaylee has had a cold the last week she wasn't too bad but it's horrible when there sick and there is nothing you can do. She is 8 months in a week(in weeks) it goes so fast!!! She has 2 bottom teeth, and her top 2 are about to split!! She sits and gets on her knees. Crazy how fast it goes and all of a sudden they start doing something new one day. Still breast feeding its going well. And having 3 meals a day. Not eating a lot though she likes being independent so half letting her feed herself and half me feeding her. We don't co sleep but have heard great things about it. Well she sleeps next to me something when she won't sleep. But hopefully those days are over, think she had the 4month sleep regression and this last week has been sleeping awesome. She self settles now, no dummy, and has been sleeping, 9,10 of 12 hours straight,

How is everyone else? Xoxoxox

Kerry I'm so glad Kaylee is doing so well. Wow! I can't believe she is already 7 months! Time flies and before you know it she'll be walking!

Puppy what's the verdict? Have you found out the gender yet? Have you felt any movement?

As for me we went through a little scare with my Sam man. When we went for our anatomy scan last week they said they found two choroid plexus cysts. These aren't harmful but they are markers for Trisomy 18 which is a deadly chromosomal disorder. My doctor said not to worry, that he was perfectly fine, but had to refer me to a specialist to be sure. So we went yesterday and the specialist couldn't even find the cysts and said Sam is perfectly fine and right on track. He is already over a pound! I can't believe it, only 4 more months! I feel like this pregnancy is flying by.

Also, we have our first baby shower in about a month. I'm ready to start accumulating things as I feel like we are just kind of waiting around. I also can't start on the nursery because we are remodeling and re-insulating the house and Sam's room is next. So I'm kind of just chilling out. I am getting bigger though. Here is me at 21 weeks!

Hope everyone is doing well!

You are just too damn cute Jess. You look amazing. How exciting baby showers!!! It's so exciting getting everything and setting the room up. Glad to hear little Samuel is ok, that would have been stressful xoxo

You baby bump is really coming on now! Would love to see pics of the baby shower x

Jess, glad to hear he is okay! I have heard about finding cysts just to have them disappear, which I think is why they try not to worry too much at first. I had my anatomy scan a couple of weeks ago, but baby was keeping his/her legs crossed and folded so we could not see anything! Unless the doctor requests another ultrasound, we won't have another chance to find out, but that's okay! We're just working on renovating our nursury at the moment right now - big job, but needed to be done. The paint will go up in a couple of weeks, I think.

Jess, your bump is so cute! Mine never really seemed to get pointy, it's just been well rounded from my ribs to the bottom of my belly the entire time. I love it though - I am really enjoying my pregnancy!

Aaaaah!! I'm caught up! So glad that the pregnancies are progressing well, and Kaylee is adorable!!! Jess - your bump is ridiculous...model pregnancy! I was massive! Puppy - I can't wait to hear the gender :)

I'm re-entering sanity these days. I finally had to get up the nerve to ask for a 4 day work week as I was losing my mind. Since June 1 I now have Wednesdays off and it's soooo much better. I get quality time with Summer and can catch up on errands and chores. It's made a huuuuge difference.

Summer is 7.5 months and SUCH an entertaining girl. She is fiercely independent and loves to meet new people and try new things. She's constantly on the go, but refuses to crawl...she prefers (demands) to be held while she 'walks,' because she can see more of what's going on :). She loves food, watching the dog (who is slowly starting to acknowledge her) and going out and about. She has no teeth at all but a full head of hair!

And can you believe it....the baby fever is returning?!?!? Am I nuts???

Gen she is so cute! I'm glad you're doing well and I can't believe you have baby fever already but its not unheard of!

Puppy I hope you get a chance to figure out what you're having if that's what you want. Any baby showers in the works? Our first one is next weekend. I'm so excited!

GenY she is soooo cute!! Such a happy little thing isn't she!!
Can't believe you got baby fever already!!! I feel like I don't want another one! I haven't slept through the night though since Kaylee has been born so that might be why. Glad to hear you are working four days and get to spend time with Summer and everything is going well

Jess how your baby shower is awesome make sure you put a pic up!

Kaylee started crawling last Wednesday so that is pretty exciting!! And she has 6 teeth now, yesterday and today she has actually started chewing and swallowing things that she couldn't before. Roast veggies etc so feeding her will become a bit easier!!!

Hope everyone else is going good

Xxxxxx
