Our nursery is nearly done (paint wise anyway) and I think I might have screwed up with paint choice. I bought natural calico and a nice blue colour (blue for one wall and calico for others) but the calico looks darker than I expected. Wish id bought an off white. OH wont let me change it as he has already done 2 coats!!

Got the carpet fitters coming round on Thursday to fit new carpet on stairs, landing & nursery. Once that's down I'm looking forward to getting the nursery organised.

Im serious! There was weather warning on earlier and its due to hit Edinburgh first!! Due on MOnday night......

Monday
Cloudy with rain becoming more persistent through the day and during the evening turning to sleet and hill snow over Lothians. Snowfalls on Monday night, especially for Lothian and Borders.

That decal is amazing!! Ive been looking at some on amazon but not sure what to get yet. (Wont be doing it till I find out what Im having as wall already blue so Id rather do something girlie if Im team pink) x

Sunshine- another lovely bump pic!!! Cant believe we are due to get snow, actually gutted!! The weather has been fab. Poor kids, its just typical the weather breaks as they finish for their easter holidays. Checked the weather app on my phone, its saying snow for tuesday too in Glasgow x

Loving the bump pic sunshine. I feel like I'm gigantic atm. I've hugely popped again! Will post a pic when I'm at the pc not on an iPad. I also think Pip might have engaged. Bump is starting to feel low and my belly button has returned. A while ago my belly button was almost flat. Now Im back to having a dip again. Im also having lots of alien movements with my stomach moving all on its own. Lots of strange limbs sticking out and flipper feet movements. Has anyone got any new updates?

Notnic, Ive got the alien movements going on. Baby is all over the place with kicks as well so although he was head down I now have no clue where he is and wouldnt have a clue if he was engaged!! Not much to update here apart from got more shopping underway again which is good. Got moses basket and stand, steriliser & chest of drawers for cot changer. The aim is to blitz most of my list by the end of April so I can spend May doing even less than I already do now!!

Weather is ok. Snow yesterday but where i am it wasnt lying for any length of time so was bearable (particularly as I never left the house the whole day lol)

I need a Bernards watch to stop time so that I can do nothing and recover from this chest infection and not lose anytime for doing our new house up. I'm now 5 days in to a course of penicillin and still feeling puffed out and chesty. So unpleasent and soo knackering.

Thought I would come in just for a sec to update...I had my drs. appt and it didn't go as well as I had hoped. Good news-not dialated or effaced even after all the contractions and I am measuring right on track and I have only gained 1 pound in the last month. Bad news-I have failed my gtt miserably so I will be doing the 3hr. If I am found to have GD then I will be adjusting my diet until baby is born. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers for monday that I pass. I am getting so sad as i have never failed the gtt this bad. Other bad news is my gma passed 3 days ago and my dds best friends mom passed yesterday so any thoughts or prayers for her would be welcomed. Also one last bad thing is that dh blew the disc in his back and is in really bad pain. He will probably be having surgery again but hopefully learned something from this. Anyway sorry for all the bad news ...hopefully soon I will have some good news. Hope everyone is doing well and will be looking for new updates and everyones news! Congrats everyone on your new weeks and we are getting so close. and love to all my great bnb friends.

Small update from me. I definitely have a chest infection. As it's Easter weekend I couldn't get another gps appointment until next Weds and I'm feeling far too sorry for myself to wait, so we spent our evening in the urgent care centre at the hospital (half way house between minor injuries and A&E). It took forever but the GP has given me another weeks worth of a different antibiotic (double the strength of the stuff I've had this week), two different asthma pumps and paracetemol for the rib pain. I just want to be better now. Left without supervision hubby's diy projects are becoming increasingly expensive!

I am. Mine feels very round and tight too. Shape and weightwise the old wives tales say blue and heightwise it's a pink one. I am a shortie though - 5ft 3 with a short body so baby has to go outwards. There isn't any room for me to carry the baby anywhere else so that throws both theories out!!

Do you have a feeling yet what you're having? I haven't a clue. Everyone at work tells me boy though so I'm preparing myself for it to be a blue one, but deep down I don't have a gut feeling either way yet.

Im 5 ft 2 so Im a short arse as well! lol

I always thought it was a girl but my sister was adamant its a boy so since she said that Im kinding swaying towards boy and we have been calling it "he" for the last 3 months. We are both pretty convinced now. OH keeps asking how his son is! In my heart Im having a girl because I only ever imagined being mummy to a girl but I felt like that before I even got preggers!!
