Hi ladies. Sorry, i have sort of neglected the thread...but i'm glad to see you are all doing well.

Iamblessed, I'm sorry to hear about everything you have been going through recently. I hope your husband improves soon and things start looking up for you both soon.

Notnic...lovely bump pic. I'm starting to feel a lot bigget recently, but thankfully not to unconfortable levels yet.

Sunshine...i reallyyyy hope the fruit changes at 33 weeks, i'm so bored of being a squash now lol.

I had my 32 week appointment on thursday. Everything still looks good. FH is measuring perfectly and bubs is still head down, yay. She was not amused by the midwife checking her position or trying to listen to her heartbeat, she wouldnt stop kicking and punching. MW really struggled to get a measure of her HB as she just kept kicking the doppler off (i was soooo embarrassed, haha). Eventually she got it, it was 148bpm. MW says I have one very active baby, I have to say I agree, she has been constantly wriggling/kicking recently, its so reassuring. Anyway, think thats about it from me update wise.

Ive got my 32 week app tomorrow and looking forward to it as I reckon bubba has moved positions quite a few times and not convinced he is head down ATM.

I know what you mean about movement. For the last 2 or 3 days he has been wriggling around, punching, kicking like crazy. He has never been so active throughout the whole pregnancy. Reckon he is trying to get comfy!!

Well after a rather horrible week, we have had a lovely bank holiday weekend! My husband and I went to lakes for some quality time together before baby arrives whilst my mum looked after our little girl. Was really relaxing.
Feeling fine, baby is moving a lot! Nothing much else to say!

Loving the bump pic sunshine. I feel like I'm gigantic atm. I've hugely popped again! Will post a pic when I'm at the pc not on an iPad. I also think Pip might have engaged. Bump is starting to feel low and my belly button has returned. A while ago my belly button was almost flat. Now Im back to having a dip again. Im also having lots of alien movements with my stomach moving all on its own. Lots of strange limbs sticking out and flipper feet movements. Has anyone got any new updates?

Hey it was stressfull lol
i had a lot to do on my own and i was getting really sore with doing so much myself.

but we moved in 10days ago and trying to settle, takes me a while to settle in new places.

I have 32week app on friday, was supposed have it friday just past but docs was closed for holidays so its this friday.
then i have consultant/registrar 3weeks today at the hospital.

babes still seems to be breech as i can feel his hiccups up high in tummy.
just hopeing he turns cos my other two never did.

its weird i can feel the feet down the bottom of tummy and head pressing up the top of my tummy he must be taking up just about all the room in there now

getting lots of bh now.

how is everyone else?

Mrsctobe - I hear you on the house move stress. My hubby thinks he's on Grand designs or something. He wants to change everything. He doesn't get that I just want to be moved in and unpacked. I don't care about new carpets or a new kitchen, or whether I can see our kids playing in the garden while i cook dinner! I just want to concentrate on getting our first child into the world safely and comfortably!!

Our NCT classes start this week too. So a busy baby week!!

Will do! My mw only does appts on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I have more people in to cover for me on Tuesdays so I always book for then if I can. Though if Friday wasn't a bank holiday you would have been seen before all of us!

I'm really trying to think of what else I need to ask at this appt. To say I've found the last few appointments disappointing would be an understatement! I get in there and get a vibe from the mw which makes me either forget what I am supposed to ask, or makes me want to not bother asking the question. I might have to write my questions on my bump just in case!

hello ladies! well yesterday was my gmas funeral,I wasn't able to go but I was able to write a letter and send it via email to my mom and she read it. At least i could do that much. how is everyone doing? I have been having lots of lower abdomen pain but I think baby is snuggling down and getting ready for birth. Being told by lots of people they don't think i will make it the full 40 or even 39 weeks. It wouldn't suprise me because of how stretched out my uterus is. I am getting so excited to know that this journey is coming to a close and I will get to meet my little one soon. Also I failed my gtt so I will be doing my 3hr on thursday..yippeeee (NOT)!! I am hoping things are ok and I think they are seeing as I had only gained 1 lb in the last month and that my bp is ok. Anyway...if any new updates please let me know. Hope everyones appts go well. Hey if we think about this we are the next group of ladies to go! w00t w00t. Anyway can't wait to catch up with everyone. to all my wonderful bnb ladies missing you all!

Lovely to hear from you honey! I know I shouldn't giggle but I have visions of your little one falling out when you're out doing your shopping, and because you're super mum you'll just pick the baby up, give her a quick dust over and put her in the supermarket trolley!!

I've just got back from my 32 week appt. I got the midwife who I don't like but she was in a better mood today. BP and everything were fine. I'm measuring 31 weeks which is good. I also got her to have a feel around and to tell me where Pip is lying. We are head down (yay!) apparently quite low down (mw was a bit surprised - but said it might be because I am still very active, and it might still move out) and still lying towards my left hand side shoulder out in a crescent moon shape. This is why I feel movements everywhere but mostly on my right towards my ribs. My funny shape bump is because of Pip's shoulders and because s/he likes to bring the legs in towards it's chest. Also she has had a squidge of Pip and it doesn't feel like we have a very big baby - so good news there, but my bump is hard. I've been getting bh every day or so, but not for very long. The only possible blip is that my 28 week bloods haven't been forwarded on to her or the GP. I have a borderline / okay iron level, but because I want a mw led delivery I have to have iron at a particular level to qualify so they need to confirm my numbers.

The other thing that she discussed was the prospect of me going in to labour prematurely. As I've mentioned before my Mum went in to labour early. Rather than dismissing this or reassuring me that this probably won't happen (as everyone else does) she seemed quite open to the idea that it might. She wants me to take my notes with me everywhere from now on, especially when I'm at work. She also wants me to look at doing my birth plan in the next week or two, and reminded me that the policy would be for me to go to the labour ward if I go in before 37 weeks. Really hoping that Pip is comfy enough until at least that point! If our mw's are right Iamblessed we might be looking at May babies instead of June ones. Eek!

Mine is on friday...im guessing baby is still breech as i can feel hiccups high up but movement can vary high and low left and right. i do tend to feel his feet pressing down and his head pushing up at same time he must be taking up loads of room in there lol.

i havnt had my bloods back either from hospital 28week not sure if they bother telling you or not?

i am also getting lots of bh for a while now and my spd is sore sore i wake up everytime i turn at night in bed.

I was told to phone and ask - which I did, but then nothing seemed to happen. I think they said my iron level was 29 but that doesn't seem low enough to be borderline.

IAB, hope u ok hun . Sorry again to hear about your grandma. Good to see you posting. Hope you abdomen pain isnt too uncomfortable.

Notnic, my bubba is exactly the same position as your Pip! Head down and crescent shape to the left. Babys heartrate was too high but she checked it over and over and then I left the room for 20 mins as was out of breath when I got there so she rechecked then said all was ok. Im a bit apprehensive as thats never happened before but sure she would send me to hospital if Id needed to go. I got a phonecall (no letter) about my bloods 2 days after my 28 week appointment to say I was still anaemic so if you havent heard back its likely that they were all fine. You would have heard by now Im sure.

Appointments every 2 weeks now until D Day! (that means 3 appointments left all going well!) x

i find it pointless them doing blood tests cos they never tell me the results.
My Lo is still breech so im bit anxious as 37week mark gets closer.

I'm not sure how often my apps are now. i see midwife on friday (32weeks)
then consultant @ hospital @ 34weeks 4days not sure after then though.

They did tell me that I wouldn't get a copy and I would have to ring to find out, so I'm not too worried about not hearing in writing - though had I realised I'd need the exact number then I would have reconfirmed it and written it down in my notes when I called. D'oh!

Sunshine - How funny that they match! What pickles they are! I wouldn't worry too much about baby's heart rate. The baby could have been a bit energised from your walk and a bit freaked out by the doppler. Just keep an eye on movement and ask for another check up if you're concerned. How are you measuring right now?

Mrsctobe - I have a schedule of care included in my mw notes near the back. I would have thought you'd have a similar page too. Also at every appt my mw writes down when they next want to see me. Being a secretary I booked all of my appts up until 36 weeks when I went for my 16 wk appt. I like being prepared! The next one is on the 24th April. Good luck for Friday.
