Still have to do most of this! New kitchen will be fitted w/c 23rd April, so still here at our old house until I'm c. 35 weeks.
Oh and Mrsctobe do you have a birthing ball? At NCT last night we were told to try sitting on one to help our baby get in the right position. Also a few ladies who had it said it helped with their back and hip pains so worth looking into.
For me it was. According to my mat notes the 32 wk appt is BP, urine, measure fundal height and discuss place of birth. Though in my area I only get a 32 wk appt as a first time mum. You wouldn't get one if you were under my health trust unless you had other health concerns. My health trust always measure from 25 wks. They don't weigh or offer growth scans unless you have other problems. I gather this is different to other locations though.
34 wks is all of the above plus birth plan discussion, pain relief discussion, talk about feeding options and review mental health and social assessment again (like at the booking in appt).
36 wks is the same as 32 wks plus define baby's presentation and position, vitamin k discussion, talk about baby care basics and newborn screening plus post natal self care including pnd
