Hi everyone had my 32week app today.

baby is still breech. and my bump and uterus are both measuring 38weeks so ive to go for a growth scan next week. i think baby is big as in all my scans ive measured a few days ahead of lmp and a week ahead at 20week scan.
plus at 28weeks baby was measuring at 3lbs 4oz and my uterus has always been that little higher up. now my uterus is as high up as someone at 38weeks lol

so i have my scan next week. im worried cos baby seems big he may not turn just have see i guess but as the weeks go on i am understandably getting worried cos its only 4weeks before they would intervene and if i choose no intervension c section.

Wow Hun! I'm measuring two weeks ahead and was worried!

Will they be able to tell you how big he is at scan? Of course it's understandable hun, don't give up hope but research it just in case which I'm sure you have done so you can prepare.

I had appt today, BP is fine which is main thing. She told me baby is laying sideways, he was head down before apparently but she seems to think its ok at this stage. Scan on Monday xx

Wow mrsc-38 weeks at 32 weeks what are they saying about that? Admiral-nice to see you and glad all is well and your LO has plenty of time to turn. Well right now I am on my 3rd blood draw for the 3hr 1 more to go and I will be done. I am hoping I can at least pass this one. please put me in your thoughts or prayers! I don't want to fail. I hope everyone is doing ok and I will update later if they tell me anything ! Right now they said their machine has broken down so I won't know my numbers until later.

She just went oh your measured 38weeks bump and uterus, didnt think my uterus was that high up lol. ive got a scan next thursday at 33weeks to see how big he is now.
had a scan at 28weeks and he was 3lbs 4oz. xx

Thanks, i am petrifeid at the thought of him not turning think since 16weeks hes been breech and dds were both back to back and didnt turn. i am so scared. is it just 2 weeks your measuring ahead? i cant wait to find out the weight now lol x

Hey everyone, hope you are all well, again it's been a while since I was last on as things have started to take their toll a little with me.

Got my latest blood results today (which were only 2 days ago in my local surgery so pretty fast), and I have to say I don't feel good at all about them.

On 29th March my iron level was low at 9.2, and on the 11th April the levels have went up to 9.8- which I'm pleased with, based on an increase of 0.3 a week, that should bring my levels up to 11.3 by 37 weeks and over 12 by my due date. However, my doctor has upped my iron tablets yet again, so I'm still on 2 a day, one of which is now a stronger dose.

So, earlier today the doctor's receptionist was on the phone with me to arrange 6 appointments over the next 3 weeks to get b12 injections Doctor is now concerned about pernicious anaemia, which is more to do with b12 folate than iron. After the 6 injections are done I will have a repeat test done in 3 months time to see if any more will be needed. I had been feeling quite lazy over the last few weeks, I guess now I know there is a reason for it.

Like so may others, I also got diagnosed with SPD, although at the rate of which my surgery makes referrals, I'll probably get the help I need when the baby is a few weeks old! My hips were in agony for a good few weeks, but I got a birthing ball and looked up some exercises last week which I've been doing daily, and it does seem to be taking the edge off a bit. I've resorted to lying on my back most nights which I know isn't the ideal position but lying on my left side has just got too painful.

Sorry about the long moaning rant lol, on the positive side of things, LO kicks and turns and punches and headbutts non-stop! It's a great feeling, I even enjoy the sore kicks lol.

My next antenatal is 24th April, when I'm hoping to get an estimated weight of the little guy. Meanwhile, FH is spot on, BP is on the low side of normal, and the only things now needed for baby are blankets

Will hopefully get a bump pic over the next few days, can't believe it's only 5 weeks til term and 8 weeks til due date! xx

Gosh you are measuring big Mrsctobe. To think you were worried that because you hadn't put much weight on neither had baby!

Mcsmyth - they were concerned I might have a b12 deficiency. If you read up about it you'll see how little difference iron tablets make. Hope you feel better soon. Even after one injection you'll feel like a new woman.

yeah looks like i havnt much to worry bout lol just goes to show your weight has nothing to do with the weight of baby lol x

Try and not worry hun! Hopefully we will both be told head down at our scans next week! Yeah just two weeks ahead which is what I thought my dating scan was out by but who knows! xx

Mrsc-also try not to worry you have plenty of time for little one to turn and if I can make you feel any better let me tell you this that my number 7 was a footling breech and I was told that 3 days before he decided to come at 39 weeks and when I went into the hospital the first thing they told me was he is head down so no worries you have plenty of time. Trust that your baby knows what he is supposed to do! No csection vibes for you mrsc!

Im doubting he will turn now tbh hes been breech for so long.
but i know if hes still breech in 4weeks they will wanna do turning (which i prob will say no) then its c section. but as hes really big and been in that position so long im beginning to doubt he will turn my other two were back to back and never turned either.

but they wont leave me till 39weeks then decide what to do cos they have known about it so long. also if hes big i worry about him getting stuck if i have natural birth. but we will see what they say over the next few weeks lol x

Its always easy for other peeps to say that thought when they are not in that position. im not worried about him being big as long as he gets out. but you cant not not worry about having a major op that scares the shit out you esp when your mother nearly died having a c section with you.

Ahhh I can't believe there is so little time left! I'm trying plan things and every turn I have to remember oh I probably shouldn't plan to be so far away from home at 38 weeks lol or things like that. I was surprised to get the news that she is only in the 27th percentile and is about 3 pounds 10 oz now and the midwife made an educated guess saying she thinks she will only be 6 1/2 pounds when she's born. That seems so tiny as I've been bracing myself for an 8 or above pound baby! It's good to know that I'm just measuring big (fundal height) because I have a short torso. I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead on the outside! Can't wait to get everything ready and meet my baby! Also, this week she's figured out a 'game' where she kicks and I give a little push back and she kicks....it feels like communication, and I love it!!! Glad to hear everyone else seems to be doing great, who knew these last weeks would get here so quickly!
