8 weeks or less and here we come baby!:)

Yeah i think now that we've been moved once we'll continue to be put over here. As for the thread name...we could always just keep posting in here until most people reach 29 weeks, then start a squash related thread?!? We'll just need to make sure when a new thread starts we check both third tri and here incase we miss it hehe xx

Gorgeous bump pic girlies! Such neat bumps! I need to do a new one soon.

I forgot to update you before. My bloods came back and I am still borderline for anemia (27?) The good news is there has been no change in the last 20wks, and considering they suspect I am a carrier of some weird blood type (name I cannot remember!) which makes me susceptible to anemia and / or have an iron deficiency, my stores are pretty good. The bad news is because they haven't got worse they aren't going to investigate the iron deficiency any further so we still don't know exactly what the issue is! Now I know that there is something, I'd like to know what it is!

Also Pip has moved so much more this week. All day I get jabs and twitches like it's been on the red bull! I hope that Pip's not getting bored in there! xx

Hope they get it sorted Notnic. Im anaemic and on ferrous sulphate and they give me horrible constipation but my haemoglobin level is 10 so Im not allowed to come off them again. :(

Thanks. I get a feeling that it's going to remain a mystery!! They won't give me iron if I do get anemic as the blood thing they think I have affects the size of my red blood cells. Physically I can't process any more iron because my blood can't take anymore on. My mum was given blood transfusions when she was pregnant w/ me. If I don't have that then the other theory is that I am B12 deficient which again means extra iron is useless as my body can't process the iron. I'll need to have some B12 shots. My mum was diagonosed with this in her last pregnancy. When I got my booking bloods back she said it made her experiences make a lot more sense! All of us sisters have been borderline anemic or anemic at some point, so it would be great if we knew why, but apparently the tests are expensive, and I guess not necessary unless you're dangerously ill.

Your levels sound very low Hun, so no wonder they want you to keep going with the iron. Do you feel any better now?

Hi notnic i was really anemic with my first baby, it was really bad from 16weeks i would actually faint and pass out pretty regularly i ended up being pretty much housebound. the iron tabs didn't help me. and after i had dd i had to have b12 jabs everyday for a week.

i feel faint and dizzy quite often this time but they say my iron is fine x

Hope they figure it out Nat. xxx

Yes they are very low (my diet isnt the best TBH). Ive always been anaemic on and off throughout my life and think baby is taking it out of me more than normal! Im fine but get very tired very easily. xxx

:hugs: Hope they manage to sort it out for you NotNic. I've had low blood pressure in both my pregnancies but never been tested for iron levels I don't think. Is it standard?

Happy Mothers Day to all of you lovely ladies who have kiddies already, and happy Mum To Be Day to the others hehe xx
