AFM - Enjoyed my day off... well, half day... painted wrought iron table/chairs and also stained a bench. I was proud of myself for using a power tool to disassemble and reassemble the bench, ha. some unfinished projects I wanted to do before the fatigue hits! I also have all the stuff except the fabric to upholster my headboard. Undecided on fabric, grr. I am in decor mode... pretty much symptom-free except tiring easier and minor occasional back aches and cramps. Friday, woo!!

Janelle - Hi fav! Sorry I ditched u guys last night. My daughter came over to use my computer to apply for jobs and my phone was dead so had it plugged in. Then when she left it was bedtime for this tired old mama! lol I love the pics! I love your long straight hair. I used to have it but chopped it to shoulder length. It used to be soooo thick but the older I get the thinner it gets. Booo! Your son is quite the cutie and just from the pic I get the impression he is QUOTE the character!

AFM - Sore bbs still missing. Sore nips still there tho. Why do appts have to be soooooo far apart?! Ugh. On a side note I got a jury summons so next week and weekend after I have to call to see if my group selected. Not looking Fwd to it...

MnJ- I dont have sore boobs yet either but they usually dont hit me until half way through the first trimester.

Janelle- I love how your son wants to take pictures for the grandparents.

Libby- Hi! Glad your half day off of work went well. I'm still afraid of using power tools.

Libby- Thanks. Yea the spotting is weird, but mostly annoying. That's awesome you got some stuff done yesterday. I love getting projects completed. I have so many I still need to complete though.. I'm hoping to have them done by next month some time. Here's to hoping! You're also going to be in the second trimester before you know it! For me personally, the weeks are flying by!

Misty- Thanks for the kind words. My hair is actually curly and I straighten it. The longer it has gotten the wavier it is because it weighs down the curl. If I don't straighten it though it looks like a frizzy mess. I hate it. I have been debating on shopping it off though. But I'm too chicken. I'm sure it will happen though sooner or later. All the ladies in my family has really thin hair, which is another reason I am afraid to cut it, it's getting thinner, but with it being longer you can't really tell. OH! I wanted to tell you, you're 9 weeks, so it's pretty normal for your boobs to stop hurting around this time. That's what happened when I was pregnant with my son. So don't worry. Your round ligament pains should be kicking in soon though if you get them. Ugh... I hated those.

AFM- I'M A BLUEBERRY!!!!! I'm so excited. I ran to the fridge this morning and saw a blueberry and my heart melted. It's so crazy to think that that little blueberry with be puking all over me one day. I'm also losing weight. I'm not sure if it's due to the nausea or because I get full so fast I eat less, but the 5 lbs I have gained is now at 1 lbs. Can't really complain though. I know I'm getting the nutrients I need.

Ok discussion on male vs female dr and student dr and nurses. Ok my feelings on student dr. first. If you cannot view my biscuit (yes I took that from honey boo boo don’t hate me lol) ALONE or have to have some one come in and do it a second time to make sure you didn’t Fup then do not touch me! But if they are at the point pretty much towards the end of their residency and they have done things on their own then I am ok with it. Ok male vs female….this is a tough one for me. I LOVE one of the male dr in my obgyn practice, he is funny and so caring and compasinate towards women and lets face it not many men try to relate to us. He tells me all the time that he has never been in labor never carried a kid so he will not ever try to imagine what we go through. He was AMAZING when I had my mc in april. Bc I was so far along I actually had gone into labor the morning of my D&C and was in an extreme amount of pain! Well when I went into preop the nurse(who was amazing also) kept trying to get the anastegeoloist to come see me to give me pain meds before surgery. I was in so much pain I was throwing up and about to pass out (knew there was a reason I liked my planned csections!) well she finally gave up and paged my dr who came right up and to where I was took one look at me and goes are you ok? Umm no and at that moment the nurse came in with pain meds finally got the other dr to give me some. My dr then looked at her and goes I heard we are at least an hr behind I just started to bawl! She goes nope I was able to get you moved to another OR bc she cant wait. I was so greatful. Then when I came out of surgery of course my recovery nurse had to be about 5months pregnant but I was ok with that..one I as dopped up haha and two she kept me dopped up. She kept a GREAT watch of the clock and as soon as I could get another shot she gave it to me…she even made a comment that I was the happiest
person she ever saw after surgery…well yeah I was in no more pain and it was done and over with.

With all that being said Josh does not like other men looking at my biscuit or touching me..i know weird…but there is a female dr in the practice that I and many other females in my family love she has treated me my mom and about dozen of my cousins…so pretty cool.. nurses go I have had my far share of bad ones…even one who tried to say my anti-inflammitory allergy was not a true allergy and tried to still have me give me some after my surgery with my daughter…my mom actually followed us to the OR and told the doctor as she was what going on…needless to say they were not too happy with that nurse…I swell up really bad with hives all over my body if I take it so um yeah it is a true allergy lol

Libby thanks for asking how I am! I can only imagine how beautiful your projects turned out! And would you stop saying how old you are lol its all in the mind and you got Jake to keep you young! Lol have you looked into the belly band for your pants? I used a rubber band for a little bit but then finally with both boys had to buy maturnity clothes bc it was summer and with Avarie I just wore lots of sweat pants that is the good part of being a stay at home mom lol.

Janelle I had never heard the thing about the yolk sac interesting…..with me and when iwas pregnant with Avarie it was just so opposite from when I was pregnant with Joshua that I knew it was a girl. Yay you’re a 7 week blueberry!!!! Misty’s your favorite  I thought I was LOL well you are all my favorites!!!  haha Oh and I keep trying to decide who Samuel looks most like…and I cant lol..he looks soo much like both of you!!! Oh and the duck tape on the stove top I LOVE IT hahaha!!!! You better REDNECKANIZE! How are you feeling today? Better since yesterday?
Hisgrace- Thanks for the well wishes  ok I must have missed what the lemon juice tip is?
Aspe- I am starting to think you are over thinking this lol…I know you wanna get pregnant so bad and that with how long your cycles are you don’t really want to miss when you do O but at the time if you stress too much about it your body is not going to work with you! Also make sure your hands are extremely clean when checking your cervix,by doing it too often you can actually cause an infection so just be careful don’t want something else getting in your way! And pimples I have tons from my stress!!!!

Misty- I would so take the sore boobs over sore nips any day! At least a good support bra can help the boobs..nothing helps nips and it is getting pretty cold here in Michigan so those two do not mix! Oh and the steroid shot did not help! I don’t freaking know what it was suppose to do but now my lower back is supper sore from it  when is your next appointment? And Jury duty? Want to know how to get out of that one? Have your obgyn write a note saying you are high risk and the stress of being on a jury is too much for ya! Worked for my friend who was 8 1/2months pregnant. She was like I am so not going into labor while at a trail lol

Nicole- I think all ready posted that I love your pics! It is so nice to put faces to names on here ! How have you been feeling lately? Still hurting? I hope you are taking it easy!

AFM- once I finally got to bed I went to take my butt load of meds and only took the one for the shingles bc it was like 6 little pills I had to take and as soon as I mixed the pills with water in my moth they dissolved!!! It was so disgusting I thought I was going to puke! So I just went to bed and took my other meds this morning…my lower back is killing me mostly where the rash is..it sucks. Had to get Joshua all ready for picture day and he looked pretty cute I hope that his holds up lol but I must get up soon enough so that I can do cleaning did nothing yesterday since I was gone all freaking day and just too sore…

Oh who ever asked how long we are suppose to be hands off it is till rash is gone so pretty much when my parents get back and he dotn wanna touch me again…UGH!

Nicole- My son would do anything for his Amma and Papa. He loves them so much. My FIL was coming over every weekend for awhile to work on the kitchen, so every Saturday my son would wake up and see that Dan was still home so he knew that meant Papa was coming over. He would Park his but at the kitchen window and watch patiently until he showed up then he would run around screaming, "Papa's here!!" Every morning he also calls Amma and Papa on Dan's alarm clock. He acts like it's a flip cell phone. It's really cute.

When is she going to call with your numbers? I bet they will be high. When are you going back for another ultrasound? I'm still trying to figure out if I will get another ultrasound at 12 weeks. I guess I should have asked.

Hi Janelley- My hair is naturally straight so if I want it wavy I braid it before I go to bed and brush it out in the morning. My hair is too think to actually hold any curls just like yours. When DH gets deployed in Janurary I'm going to cut off 7 inches of my hair and let it grow out til I see him in person again. He says that is mean since he loves my long hair but I am getting some serious split ends and I need it layered some more. Trying to decide whether to go subtle layers or a bit more bold. I tend to favor really bold things like bright red lipstick and knee high leather boots lol.

Also, my daughter's nickname is Blueberry because when we got our first ultrasound with her thats how big she was. I believe I was 6 weeks and 6 days along.

As far as weight gain goes, I think I've gained a pound. Which scares me since it's only been 11 days since our first positive HPT. My first two pregnancies I gained 46 pounds. I am hoping to gain no more than 30 this time around.

Nicole- Yeah we started in seperate blankets, he still cuddled me, but then woke up under the same blanket...force of habit lol..weird thing is for years we slept with seperate blankets cuz he hogs them so bad well a year ago he decided he didnt like the distance so we went back to sharing but i still have to keep an extra handy for when he takes them during the night and wont share lol and dang it that nurse needs to hurry up it is almost lunch time then they wont call till after one haha

Janelle-too funny as the same time you put that you were a blueberry i put it too great minds think alike! oh and maybe that extra weight was water/bloat weight? i know i gaine like anywhere 5-10lbs when af is due then during and after af i go back to where i was as long as i dont give into too many carbs lol..guilty this month

No, I'm not cutting off 12 inches this time. As far as I know 10 inches is now the minimum length donation for locks of love. I did donate to locks of love on Valentine's Day in 2006 though. Everyone was shocked to see my hair was only to my chin instead of down to the middle of my back. An example of how thick my hair is: they had to separate my hair into 3 ponytails in order to cut it for locks of love.

Krissy- That's a crazy story with your surgery. Oh man, I can't even imagine the pain you where in. I wonder if it's like labor pain. I know when I had my first MC, I thought I was going to die. I wanted to call the Dr. for pain medication, but I thought he would think I was a wimp. I explained it to him with my next visit and he said he's had women come in and hit him because they didn't realize how painful it was going to be. I kinda laughed at that. He said if a woman comes in and he see's she is having a miscarriage he prescribes her painmeds regardless.

I had a discussion about male and female doctors with Dan last night over dinner and he said he has no problem with my Dr. looking at my "good girl" that's what we call it. He said normally he probably would, but he sees how much he cares about his patients and how concerned he is with both my pregnancies that he trusts him. He also said use to feel really bad about me having to go to my biopsy appointments alone, but now he doesn't feel AS bad because he knows my doctor wont just blow me off he will actually sit there and console me. He said he's a good guy and he likes that about him.

FOR HIM- Now this is weird, but makes sense. He said that he prefers a male doctor to do a physical on him only because he thinks they would have more experience in knowing what they are suppose to look for. He said he's never had a female doctor and he doesn't plan to either. I guess that makes sense.

Nicole- my hair is supper thick to!!! when i go into get highlights done if it is someone new i schedule with i say leave lots of time...they never listen then i get in there and they say i have enough hair for at least 2 people if not more hahah...oh i thought i was 6inches see how much i know lol...and i could never do chin length! i have a rule that is must go in a poneytail...so aways atleast to my sholders but right now to almsot the middle of my back with lots of layers. you should post some hair styles you like we could always help....maybe might confuse you more lol

Janelle that does makes sense and honestly till jamie's pregnancy i only saw a female. but then that practice ended becase he moved to Oregon i LOVED her! then i went to these doctors and feel in love with the male dr bc he is just plan awesome! and i used to live in the apartmetns across from his subdivison so every halloween we used to trick or treat at his house and talk too funny!

and yeah bc i was 11.5 weeks it was just like normal labor! i was in labor with Joshua and i did the same thing with the throwing up and what not....once again now i know I LOVE my planned csetions rather have a week of a little bit of pain and people babying me (hey i am only human hahaha) than that intense pain for hours...

Yay, my nunbers just got back! and in only 47 hours (got it taken at 9:45 on Wednesday and 8:45 today) they have more than doubled again! I went from 1860 on wednesday morning to 4175 this morning!
