My friend gave me a angelcare bebe sounds sensor monitor. She didn't have the directions or the parent base part. Just the sensor pad and the nursery unit. I have a regular sound monitor so don't really need it for sound just movement. How do I set this up? Do I always have to hear the ticking? Is the ticking in the nursery? My son sleeps in a small crib in our room right now, but will be moving him to his room and wanna get this set up. Thanks!

you can change it so you cant hear the ticking, just play with the settings, its fairly easy to work out, if you still cant do it tomorrow pm me and i will find out my instructions. And no, it cant be heard in the nursery. X

Where do you put the 'nursery unit' part of it. (The little thing shaped like a cloud, with the switch on it).

Where did you put the sensore pad, what part of the crib?

If you have a regular baby monitor where do you have the speaker part of it?

I don't know where to put the stuff!

I just put the flat pad thing under the mattress, in the center. I don't know how it would work without the parent speaker thingy? I am pretty sure the alarm was heard through that part of it?

I can hear the ticking and the alarm go off just on the nursery unit. So I figure if the alarm goes off, I'll hear it by my regular baby monitor and respond...

all my settings are on the parent unit, thats where I turn off the ticking, so not sure if you can turn it off through just the nursery base.

I've got the one that looks like an angel and I just use the movement sensor with another monitor. When the alarm goes off both parts make noise, so it works just as well on it's own. I just on the turn on the base unit and not the receiver my other monitor is about a meter away.

where do you put the speaker though? In the crib or on the floor? I have two things I need to put in there and they both need to be close together and fairly easy to access to turn off ticking... So where do you put yours?

At the moment the base unit of the angelcare is on my bedside table as her crib is next to my bed and I leave it on all night for peace of mind, the base unit of the other monitor is on the window ledge behind the curtains but mine only ticks through the receiver which I don't use.
