Acupuncture Club 2012

Hi all,

I just wanted to add my name into this group. I've been ttc for 11 months and so far just doing lots of herbal supplements and recently added progesterone cream. Last week I also started acupuncture. I'm going for my second session on Tuesday. Fingers crossed this does it for us! I'm fast approaching 36 so really hope something happens soon!

Hey ladies, I'm feeling a bit more positive today! I think 2 years and the realisation that we need to move to iui and ivf hit hard and took its toll!! Also had a crazy busy stressful week at work and everything just got on top on me! Had my acupunture on saturday and a good chat to the lady who treats me who was great. She had ivf so understands and I'm feeling much better now. We're gonna have a month off, to keep me sain will will ntnp, and then arrange to go back to the fertility specialist! How's everyone else doing? Welcome new ladies x

Hi Natashaa - Glad you are feeling better. I know sometimes it can get overwhelming and you have to step back for a second. Im in 2ww so just trying to keep busy! I was very discouraged and nervous this month since it was our first IUI. However, it really was not bad. They bumped my meds up but the IUI procedure is basically over before you know its begun! Good luck to you and keep us updated.

Good luck! I find acupuncture very relaxing. What herbal supplements do you take? Are you using Crinone? I used the progesterone cream before.

This is my 9 Mth TCC and I highly reccomend acupunture if nothing else it has relaxed me and I have felt less stress. There was much more c/m around O and I really felt it approaching real sore breast and all. I am cd26 11dpo due Wednesday but won't test till 18dpo if I can hold out that long. This is my first round of accu and I had herbes too. I really enjoy it.

Welcome to you too phrumkid. It is def worth a try after 3 sessions I love it.

Natasha 1 glad your feeling better and your back on track. This journey is super hard sometimes it all gets too much. Xx

hey all, i'm on cd 4 today, started second round of Clomid last night (50), and guess I should start my "mucinex" and water deal, like last month. i think it did help me get at least some ewcm before O, thanks to Clomid sucking it all away. I usually have plenty w/o Clomid. also, one more week till vacay, exciting. and I have my second acupuncture treatment this coming saturday, right in time before expected O. GL everyone!

CD3 had FSH level drawn. have appt with my new OB/GYN thursday to discuss results and treatment hope theyre ok :/ Third acupuncture session (going once a week) thursday too.
I have been taking the herbals Vitex and Evening Primrose Oil too.
Anybody get headaches from either of those?

while in my 2ww she only wants me to do once a week accupuncture appts. i am 4dpo and nothing has changed I am so busy packing and moving and working i dont have time to think i feel this or that. Other than my nipps since yesterday have been sensitive to touch. The accupuncture has helped my O pains tremendisly I wasnt in as much pain I used to be. AF is Due Oct 4th

Other than my nipps since yesterday have been sensitive to touch. The accupuncture has helped my O pains tremendisly I wasnt in as much pain I used to be. AF is Due Oct 4th

Hey well that is a good sign! I am going to wait to see if I am late to test. I don't want to see another one liner. I am not feeling anything different then normal but trying to stay postive and busy. Day 28 will be Oct 1st. Wierd thing is I was craving meat (I am not a veggie but I really do not like meat). So when I said that my husband just froze and said what?!?! May be all the hormones I have to take to have a cycle though. I had my mother in law make me meat loaf.....gross....but soooo good last night. hahaha. Some days I feel so crazy.

Hi! Yes, it is definately a journey! I do not have periods at all actually. I was on the pill for about 10 years and with the pill I would have a period that last a day or so. I went 108 days without a period so they put me on progestrone. My cycles are forced. I take clomid 5-9 estrongen 10-15 and then progestrone 16-28. I also have to get the trigger shot because I do not ovulate on my own! Good luck! they will start you out at 50 mg. I had no symptoms at that level. It was only when I went to 100 mg that the symptoms started. Hot flashes mostly. Nothing to worry about.

I had little to no periods when I went to See an OBGYN in July 2011 because I kinda figured since I wasnt having a period every month and us not getting pregnant was all wrong. In sept of 2010 when I met my husband we started trying a month later. and I maybe had 3 periods that year. so when i went to see an OB in july he said i wasnt ovulating cause i wasnt having a period every month. well now my body is to the point i dont have a period until I ovulate. weird I KNOW!! it somehow is switched around but I believe accupuncture will correct this!!

So they just started you off on clomid? They gave me progestrone to start my period. I do take Provera in my cycle as well. I have not heard of vitex but I will look into it!

3rd accupuncture session today . f/u with new MD putting me on 100mg clomid CD3-9. so starting next cycle because I am CD 7 already :/. so taking it easy this cycle fx crossed I dont even need to take the clomid

this 2ww is going by soo quick i cant believe its the 28t already and Im 8DPO. monday I have another accu appt. and then come thursday its either two lines or tampons HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND GIRLS!! Ill be unpacking all my junk i didnt know i had lol I have alot of stuff.

Hey Ladies,

Well AF got me yesterday afternoon, after cramping all night and on and off in the morning. C.D 2 and it sucks. But I did not cry this month just moving onto the next cycle. It can be frustrating but all I can do is keep on trying.
