AF on 20th - Anyone else?

All so technical! Sounds like you're dealing with a lot of waiting on this side of the TWW and then the actual TWW on top of that!!

Well fx'd those follicles start growing soon! :)

Pretty much!!

That's what the Clomid is for so hopefully it does its job!!

All you ladies are so wonderful. And I pray that I see bfp's from you all!!
And I don't know about the sperm living 5 days. I'm sure it is true, but like you said, it would have to be sperm of steel!

ha yes, It must be like Super sperm to live that long!
CD9 for me today :flower:
I worked out earlier that if I dont get my BFP this cycle that i'll be on holiday in Italy over my next fertile cycle so plenty of chance for relaxation and BD-ing <3

CD 10 for me...and honestly I am really glad I decided not to take the Mucinex I took the previous two cycles because I am finally getting normal discharge for this time. The Mucinex was supposed to do that because Clomid dries you up, but instead it only dried me up more. So, I'm feeling a little more optimistic if only because all of a sudden everything is "looking" like it should.

All hail to super sperm!! That's all I have to say on that lol...

London, you are so lucky to be going to Italy. I'm sure it's beautiful!!
And as for super sperm... What is that?! Haha I told my dh that I think his little swimmers go in strong and then squirrel out and swim backwards.
It is CD8 for me. And boy could I and so far have eaten ALL. DAY. LONG!! I can't get enough. Do any of you ladies experience an increased appetite before or during ovulation? Because holy cow...seriously give me one right now! Haha

Are you kidding me, heck yes! I packed my own dinner today at work thinking I have just been eating too many fatty things for dinner and dessert, but then today at work I ate two salads around 5, then ate a brownie. Then had tacos for dinner at 8(from home), then had another brownie before I left at 10:45. I was like, so much for eating healthier! 😩

Tomorrow is my first post-Clomid scan so I will find out tomorrow how my follicles are doing and when I am likely to ovulate.

DH and I were supposed to go to The Bahamas in May for our anniversary, but then I got this job so we put it off until July. Now I really wish it was sooner because I truly think that relaxation is the key!!!

Hi ladies! I've been busy organising stuff for Toby's birthday, he will be 4 on Saturday! They grow up fast... And last night I came down with this AWFUL horrendous cold!! I am so cross!! Honestly it feels like my head might explode, I'm still at that drippy stage so I was awake half the night with it tickling my nose, that and Daisy waking for boobs as usual! I have party food to make, helium balloons to collect, balloons to blow up, presents to wrap, a room to decorate... This is literally the worst day to get a cold :[ I just want to sleep!

Ok, self pitying done! I had no cycles for 2yrs (after coming off the Pill after 3 yrs) and had scans which showed PCOS. The fertility clinic gave me Provera to induce a bleed, and I was due to start Clomid on day 4 I believe - well I never got that bleed so I rang the clinic in a strop and she asked me if I was pregnant haha, I was right moody with her and sarkily told her I was under fertility specialist, duh. She told me to take a test then call back for a higher dose of Provera. I took the test. It was a BFP. I almost fell over! So don't lose hope :D I have heard great success stories about Clomid xxx

CD10 for me today Ladies!

Pne1985 - Italy is AMAZING, one of my favourite Countries so I am looking forward to heading there to relax for 10days next month.

Happy Birthday weekend to Toby!! Sounds like you have your hands full organising things, I hope you feel better soon.

Good luck with the scan today RoseMama - FX that everything is looking good for you!

Happy Friday ladies, I for one am very glad the weekend is nearly here!

MissRose, that is too funny! That was seriously me yesterday. I made banana muffins in the morning because our son asked for them, so of course I ate 2. And then brownies sounded good in the afternoon, so I made those also! Oi!! Good luck at your scan. Going to the Bahamas at anytime will be nice though!!
Happy birthday to Toby!! Having a party and getting sick is horrible.

I can't believe it is Friday already!! Time needs to slow down!

Are you me? Seriously, I could have written this last paragraph! This is exactly what happened to me with my daughter. I was diagnosed with PCOS after I went a year without my period after going off the pill. Finally they started me on Provera - that didn't do it, then they prescribed Clomid and that did it.

DH and I started trying in December 2012, in February 2013 I went in because of a weird period, so they did a scan. They told me my lining was still thick so I was probably going to start soon and gave me Provera just in case. To cover their bases, they gave me blood work, one of which was a pregnancy test. I got a call three hours later telling me I was pregnant. Literally the greatest message I ever heard in my life. This was my dream. As a kid, I used to walk around stores with my dolls in shopping carts, I would go down the baby aisle and put baby items in my cart. Some girls dreamed about their wedding day - I dreamed about having a baby. So, yes becoming pregnant with my daughter was a dream come true. 💕

Ooh banana muffins, yum!! Now I want some banana muffins. I get my daughter those Little Bites muffins from Entenmann's and today on the way to the scan, I had brought a pack for her to eat. She ate two on the way there and on the way back I asked her if I could have one and she said "No", but since she is two, I ignored her and ate one...soooo good!

The scan went well, thank goodness! Better than expected. One of my follicles is already mature (anything over 15 mm) is mature, so after reviewing my blood work, they think I might ovulate sooner than expected. So, apparently I will have to buy one of the digital OPK kits after all. So, we will see...if I have a positive test on Saturday or Sunday, I'm going to have to take off Monday. So, here is hoping I either get a positive test today if I can manage to sneak in and take one or that I don't ovulate until
Monday. FX!!

YES! This!! I wanted a baby sooooo badly, I could not believe it. I cried at my 12 week scan because (despite the awful ms) I was sure it was too good to be true! Like... In the UK you take a test, see those lines, then you get a booking appt with a midwife around 8 weeks where they do basic bloods (but not hcg) and take a medical history and then nothing til 12 weeks when you have the first scan! That is a LOT of worrying about missed miscarriages... I love babies. I know when we get caught this time, it'll be our last baby. And that's practical for us but I will be sad all the same. I am only 26 so I have a fair few years to try to resist the temptation to have just one more!

Wow Sticky - 4 kids at 26, you're a machine!!! And you want another! You must be an amazing woman with a large house for the kiddies!

Amazing to hear the scan went well! I am using the last of my digis and got some cheapies off amazon. Assuming I'm the same as I've been last couple of months I should get a flashing smiley tomorrow (have had 3 Os thus far which is the same for me each month) I normally have 3 ish days of flashing smileys then a solid. Seems pretty consistent with me!

Appears it might be a weekend of BD-ing for all 😊

Have a good weekend ladies and all the best for Toby's bday party! X

Wow, London - is that an early O date or are mine just late, lol?

I meant to escape at some point and get a OPK on my break but ended up not taking a break, so I guess tomorrow will have to be it..,

I normally start the digis on CD8. 8,9,10 are always a O, 11,12,13 are always flashy smileys with a solid smiley turning up around 2-3pm on CD14.
My problem is pointing when I ovulate! I actually am beginning to wonder if I ovulate a few days later as last month I had jabbing pains around CD18, would that be too late I wonder??

Hmmm this whole TTC is mind boggling isn't it?!?! :)

This is why I don't like OPK's...smiley face or line...you need something like the ClearBlue Weeks Estimator for pregnancy for ovulation. Like a smiley face with a 1-3 days estimating when it is you are going to ovulate. Otherwise it's just guess work. My doctor told me to test using OPK kits and when it comes up positive to take my trigger shot. But if there are flashy smileys and solid smileys, which one is positive??

MissRose, hooray for a successful scan!
Sticky, you're an animal! Good for you. I always thought I wanted a big family with them being close in age and then after I had our baby (who is now 3), I definitely changed my views and look up to those who have multiple children!
At my gynocologist appointment last year, there was 4 boys sitting in the waiting room, who were behaving so well! I complimented the mom when she came out with another little boy and one on the way. The nurse told me that she homeschools all of them also. I was like what's her secret, I need to be her friend!! Haha.
And it's going to be a dreary weekend here where we live, so I guess it will be a good weekend to stay in and do "nothing"!
I already started getting a bit of EWCM and had some cramping so we bd'ed last night just in case!

Tested with an OPK when I got home and still nothing. Anyone had a positive OPK yet? I generally don't trust OPK's so we will definitely DTD regardless!

Morning Rose

I tested this morning using a digi and a cheapie.
Digi gave me a flashing smiley which I expected (based on previous months and the recordings I've put in my Ovia app) so that's a "increased Chance" but it's not a solid smiley 😊 As yet!
The cheapie was negative.
I think I'll get my solid around tues (CD14) so hopefully the cheapie will match.
Think we might BD when the husband wakes up, why not it's Sunday morning! ;)

Also to note that the stick in the digi had a faint 2nd line so I guess the surge must be coming soon.

How are you other ladies getting on?
