Quick update.....

Due to my age (33), my wonky cycles, the length of time trying, and the fact we have no kids, OH and I are eligible for immediate investigation and have been referred to a fertility specialist!! I only went to get something to bring on AF!!

So any ladies trying and thinking you have to wait a year, go and see the doctor!! I think it probably varies from PCT to PCT, but I'm really glad I went and didn't just hang around waiting for my cycle to get back to normal.

hello all

i turned 30 on 5th January and was made aware of mmc on 13th so am now wtt for number 1. I'm hoping to have a baby in my arms before my 31st but know that is very wishful thinking! we conceived on cycle one of ntnp so were very lucky... i'm not sure we'll be that lucky again. i just hope we're not unlucky again next time and that we go to full term.

Wow, this thread has moved quickly! I'm happy to see that there are so many in a similar boat.

And another nurse friend announced pregnancy today....hope mine is next! I had a patient's mom tell me I better be pregnant at the next appointment in 3 months!

I'm 27 almost 28 ttc on #1. 10 months, no cycle after birth control. Failed the progesterone challenge twice. Now I'm trying estrogen to induce a cycle and waiting for my ultrasound report. Didn't know trying was going to be this hard! My family is so fertile...what's my deal??

Cool! I so know!!! Everyone around us is popping them out it seems!! (except another friend who is also trying, good luck lauraemily17!!) And he is one of the oldest of our friends so we get 'the question' a lot, I just wanna cry most of the time!! Lots of people say his age doesn't matter, but I'm not sure thats true?

Hi ladies,
I am 29 and will be 30 in may.
We've been TTC #1 for almost 1 year. I can feel AF is just around the corner and my doctor told us to go back to him if we don't have a BFP until january or february. So as soon as the witch comes today or tomorrow I'm calling for a doc. appointment. I can't take this waiting any more. I really didn't want us to talk to doc about infertility but now I am ready to take whatever he suggests. This has been a rollercoaster and I hope with medical support we can get a BFP soon.
