I hate when doctors tell you when time is up ttc naturally. I would find another doctor, there could be something else wrong and by doing all the tests now it will shorten your ttc journey. Good luck! I hope you get your soon!

I'm with you on this. I pretty much refused to leave the drs office until they agreed to run tests and refer me.

All my basic levels came out ok but i'm going to the gyno to get proper tests done, mainly as i havent had a period still after implant removal in september.

You're in same-ish boat to me then! No AF since October coming off BCP! I told my doctor the other day I don't care that its just been 3mths, I said 'if you don't listen to me and get me some tests, I'm gonna go through this whole surgery until someone does!!' She could see I wasn't going anywhere lol!! Xx

Hey Ladies,
I'm going to hopefully book a doctors appointment tomorrow to *hopefully* think about running some tests. I'm a real push over, but I'm really going to do my best to be stubborn!
Isn't it awful though how doctors can leave you feeling fobbed off, stupid or that you're wasting there time?! I swear the doctors just think I'm some kind of hypochondriac nut!

I really hope we all get our BFPs! I can't imagine a more amazing feeling than reading that you gals got your babies!

I was totally stubborn with my doctor yesterday! Well not stubborn, I broke down crying like a crazy woman.

I was seeing an RE and we had a plan laid out, but she transferred to another practice and my new doctor wanted to keep me going on the same dosage of Clomid (100mg) that I've been and didn't say anything about continuing with the plan. Well I about lost it because Clomid alone hasn't been doing enough. This will be our 15th cycle. After I broke down and told him exactly how I felt, he agreed to start IUIs in February. I couldn't be more happy

Sometimes you have to be your own advocate!

Ladybuggz - put your foot down!! I went to my original doctor back in november (I'd counted my withdrawl bleed as period, and then when I was 'late' I went there and was like 'I'm 2 weeks late' etc) and she was SO RUDE!! I was gobsmacked! Really felt STUPID!! I really felt like a silly little girl. Almost like I didn't know anything about periods/sex/babies/bcp, like I was a little girl being so silly etc. It was horrible + that didn't help with all my hormones all over the place!! But I thought when I get to 3mths without AF that's it!! Luckily I saw a nicer doctor + stomped my feet!!! Good luck with your doctors appointment xx

Oh_clementine - did you complain to FRER?? I'm so so so sorry to hear about your story, I've just done a bit of stalking if you don't mind :-/ I want to slap those FRER people so hard!! I can't imagine what you must be feeling. And I feel a bit of a cow now for being so needy lol! But do you know what, you WILL get that BFP, and you will have a gorgeous little baby in your arms - we all will!! Xx

Sas3131 - shakira announced she's had her baby, ugh, I'm not looking forward to hearing all about the celebs giving birth - I did start making note of celebs being preggers, foooooolishly thinking 'if I'm pregnant, I'll be preggo buddy with her, + her, + her...' Etc! Cos I just assumed naturally being off bcp, and have unprotected sex would lead to being pregnant! Ah well :-/ xx

And yes, I did complaint. I sent a very long, email when I was in the height of my miserable "false positives. not pregnant" phase. The company sent me a cheque for $110, so I did receive my money back, but I still have a really bitter taste in my mouth.

That's awful, Clementine! Maybe it was a chemical? Not that it makes it any better but I've never seen false lines like that (granted, I've never seen any personally, but stared at tons of other peoples...)

I'm so glad there's a board of people feeling the same way I do. I can tell I'm getting a lot more pessimistic and depressed lately. I'm not sure how much longer I can stand to wait. :/. And realistically, it hasn't been all that long. I don't know how people who wait years do it.

It wasn't a chemical, as I have not bled since. The tests came from various batches and the lines were still there. I would have thought if it were a chemical, that would have reflected in my blood test and I would have bled afterwards. This was at the end of November.

I have yet to see any sign of a bfp. So anxious for it to happen! I know I'm going to freak out when it does. Hopefully soon! I hope the same for you guys too!

ladies! Glad you all showing much enthusiasm for the cycles ahead. Oh_Clementine I am so sorry for your false bfp, its such a cruel thing, I can imagine your excitement and then heartbreaking disappointment. Just keep positive it will happen.

I am currently on day 4 of provera, about a week away from AF then I start Clomid, I am praying that it works first time but I am getting so dispondent because it has failed so many ladies. I wish it would be my miracle drug!

I went to my OB-GYN yesterday.
Did some tests, bloodworks, sonars ect. He says everything seems healthy and in good working order. Now, just need to wait for the test to come back.

But above the good news that everything seems healthy, there wasn't the news I secretely wanted to hear. (we all know what that is) So, it seems that for this cycle I will remain a virgin

So although I have not received my AF yet, I know I will be seeing the this month.

Another cycle for me and hubby.

I need advice from all those who took clomid. I am due to start clomid once I am done with provera, however I have been having ovarian pains that feel like my cysts are back. Its been getting worse the last few days, could be AF or it could be about ready to burst (again). I dont know if I must go to my gynae and get a scan before the clomid or just start clomid as per his instructions. My last ovary scan was in November, surely the cysts couldnt have grown massively since then.

I am just so upset today because it looks like I am back to square one and have to wait much longer until I can really start. I was hoping that I would have my first by December but it looks like that is not going to happen! I cant help but be so so upset and miserable

BFP virgin here... so here is my tale...
I was on the Depo shot for 7 years, which I halted in June 2011, as I knew many girls took a while to adjust before falling pregnant, I chose the time I did so I had over a year before my wedding for my system to adjust, I actively started trying on August 25th, 2012 my wedding night, now for a little back story, I have been the most regular person in existence before and after depo, 28 days @ 9am BAM the rears her ugly head, August 27 like clockwork on my honeymoon there she is (She only visits for 3-4 days so it wasn't a big deal). This is where my story takes a turn... I was Due September 23rd for my next AF, on the 27th I got a little anxious so I POAS with a BFN called my doc just to make sure as I was not known to ever be late. October 4th after 38 days the arrives, so to make a long story short it has continued since with a 54 day cycle, then 21 days, then 16 days, now today is day 22 and no sign of AF quite yet.... I have an appointment with a fertility specialist in a couple weeks hopefully they can figure out why my body has all of a sudden gone haywire!

has anyone else had their system go haywire as soon as they started TTC? and if so any idea's what it could be just so i can brace myself before seeing the doc!

I came off BCP in early Sept 12, AF came 18th Dec and I've never wanted to see her so much!! Silly me assumed that meant I was back in track...oh know!! Now 6 weeks and 2 days and no AF again!! Obviously a number BFNs in all this!! I have a doctors app booked for 30th Jan, hoping they don't turn me away with give it a bit longer etc etc etc!!

When I came off the pill, it took almost 8 months for my periods to become regular. The doc basically told me just to keep waiting, and to take OPK's to find out when I was ovulating since I was so irregular.

I know, I think that's what they will say to me but worth a shot?? I've asked for a woman doc, just gonna tell her everything and how I feel and see what happens!! It's so annoying, you spend your life trying NOT to get preg and then when you want to you can't!!! I would never take BCP again!!!!

I know! I tell all my friends who are getting married to get off it soon! Although I know for some people, it happens really easily. I would still go in order to get yourself on the radar. I also started charting my periods, and as the months went on, the cycles became shorter. But try the OPK's.

Lilmonkey, thank god I'm not the only one. So basically I came off depo a year ago on Saturday ( last jab was oct 11 ) I was on depo on and off for 12 years. Had a few breaks over the years and never took longer than 4 months for cycles to return to normal, until I want af that is!! It took 10 months to get af, which was nov 1, since then I have had af 6 times ranging anywhere from 9 days to 21. I have no idea what is going on with my body if or when I am ovulating. I now have a strict schedule of sex every other day when not on af, sorry if tmi. Praying that this is gonna be my month, and desperate to see those 2 little lines. Forgot to mention I had a blood test and all my hormone levels are fine. Sorry for going on x

Yes, I'm gonna go although not expecting miracles!! Just resurgence would be nice!! Yes, my last cycles was 136 so this has to be shorter!! I feel like everything in my life is on hold incase we fall preg!! It's nightmare!! How are all your partners handling it??

He mentioned probably putting me on fertility meds to level it out, I would assume clomid. which would be okay by me especially if it increases my chance of twins

Ok everyone, I need help! This is the first time using the Answer lab strips - after about 10 mins, there were definite lines, and now they are pink. I'm so skeptical, being used to BFN's for over a year, I'm definitely taking this with a grain of salt. What do you guys think?
