Any Christians Wanna Chat?

Thank you for the Verse Lynn.

I'm having kind of a downer day :( They're never fun...

congrats on team :blue: blessed..
those are some large babies you all were talking about. My girls were 1lb15oz(delivered at 26wks) and my second was 7lb5oz..i couldn't imagine having large babies...yikes

mine were...
7 lbs even
7 lbs 4 oz
7 lbs 2 oz
7 lbs 15 oz
6 lbs 13 oz

they were all pretty close together. the 6 lbs 13 oz was induced 3 weeks early due to complications, so im sure he would have made it to 7 lbs if he had the time.

my mom had mostly big babies. my sis and i were both 9 lbs 10 oz, and you already heard about my brother. my other brother was 6 lbs something. dont know how he got in there lol.

xpecta- i prayed for you. sorry your having a bad day:nope:

Congrats on :blue: Blessed! Lots of blue in this thread so far (including the boys already born especially)

Xpecta, youre welcome for the blog (I've been following it for two years now - she only had 6 kids when I stumbled upon it :haha:). I've always found it to be an encouragement and full of good ideas to implement, both in the home in general and when it comes to being a godly parent.

Lynni, thanks for sharing that verse :flower:

I just want to say, I'm incredibly thankful for each and every one of you! Thank you for joining this thread and enriching my life! You all are a blessing to me! :hugs:

I found this thread to be an extra blessing this morning too. My alarm went off at 6:15 and I did NOT want to get up, and while I was fighting it I opened bnb and this thread was at the top of my cp. After catching up on it I was uplifted and was able to get up and cook breakfast for DH with a cheerful heart instead of a grumpy tired one :).

Well after a week of rain the Lord has blessed us with a cloud free day today, might just manage to get to the playground if the boys behave themselves

Hopefully you're able to take advantage of the change in weather. I'm sure the boys will love a chance to get out to the playpark :)

blessed thats wonderful news on your little boy! congrats!

I hope everyone is doing well :)

our consultant appointment on tuesday went ok, better than our original scan on the thursday. The specialist saw the area of concern but felt it wasn't too the degree the woman saw on thursday which is goodish news, baby looks well in every other way just small (measuring about the 9th percentile) the bowel issue can be an indicator for IUGR so think i might push for another scan when I have my 28 week consultant appointment, Myself & hubby have had blood taken for genetic screening as they are concerned about CF, I also had bloods taken for a infection screen, we were offered an amnio as they are concerned also about downs but I declined as I feel the 1 in 100 risk of miscarriage is way too high in my mind and too be honest, if it came back as baby having downs it wouldn't change a thing anyway, our baby is our baby, regardless

So thank you for all your prayers as I feel it certainly did some good, I feel alot more positive, I just wish we could fast forward too march so I can have the baby and know for sure if there is anything wrong, I won't relax until then as until then, nothing can be ruled out 100%

I'm glad things went mostly okay Button nose!! I'm sure your baby will be fine! Either way, your family will still be in my prayers!! :hugs:

this thread is such a blessing! im thankful to know each of you:flower:

button- i just know your baby will be ok. they thought my 3rd had iugr. he always measured small, but when he was born he weighed the same as the rest and was healthy. praying for your family :hugs:

thank you girls, my little man was 6lb 15 at just days before my due date so maybe I just make smaller babies

can anyone recommend a toddler bible, I want too get one for little man too use for bedtime stories, he is 13 months :)

i would pop into your local christain bookstore and look through a few hun we got basic picture style bibles for the boys with not too many words caus otherwise they are turning the pages mid sentance lol, we will get them better bibles as they get older

morning ladies..
button ..glad your scan was better..Glory be to God:)
you ladies are correct, this is a wonderful thread...i don't get a chance to get on every day the way i'd like but i do thoroughly enjoy reading and seeing the blessings of God coming through in everyone's lives.
hope you all have beautiful Friday

Button - I got my son the Veggie Tales Bible, and he LOVES it!! He had a Read with Me Bible before, but he couldn't connect with it, and rarely liked to read it. So when we got him the Veggie Tales one, he loves to read it now!

Maybe take your son with you, and let him pick one out? That way, he can look through all of them, and decide which one he likes and can connect with.

Loveanurse - Any time you pop in is great! :D Its just so nice that I have a place that I can come to when I feel down. I don't really have many friends where I live, so I get lonely sometimes, and I come on this thread for a bit of comfort.

Buttonnose, I'm so glad your latest scan was much more reassuring! Will continue to pray for you and the baby. It sounds like everything is fine and normal, but I pray that you and your hubby will have peace and be able to enjoy the remainder of your pregnancy and deal with whatever comes your way :flower:

Think taking your son to choose his own Bible sounds like a good idea :)

Sorry I haven't stopped back in for a while. Had a scare with LOs size, and then the cheeky brat decided to grow 5cm in 5 days!

I'm full term now and praying that labor comes soon; there is only so much more of this I can stand.

Good news though, OH has started work, just finished his first week and came home last night, spent today and goes back in the morning. I'm glad I got to see him or I do not think I would have coped much longer. He says he has already made about $2000 in the one week (gets paid Wednesday) which is brilliant, it means we can get the single bed mattress we wanted, he can get the motorbike he wants to do up as a pet project, we can start seriously looking at a new couch set to help my back and a new queen mattress, also it means I don't have to worry about going hungry whilst he's getting beefed up at my dads (my step-mum makes him eat :haha:). Also we can get our other phone/internet bill paid off and a bit more of electricity. God answered one of my prayers though, in the form of the electricity bill. The government just stepped in and paid $625 off of it for us, and we do not have to pay it back. I feel so blessed and I know if it wasn't for God it wouldn't have happened.

Button I'm glad things are going well with LO! As for bibles, I will just be reading from 'My Book of Bible Stories' it is fully illustrated etc.

I hope everyone is doing well xx

Leopard!! That is just amazing!! I'm just in awe! What a miracle! Especially with the electricity Bill! My husbands eyes just shot open when I read that to him!! haha.

I'm so happy to hear that your prayers are being answered! Thank you Jesus! And many more blessings to you!

Wow Courtney, God is so good! What is your OH doing for work that he's making $2000 in a week?

DH got 10 hours of double time on the weekend, so even though he isn't working today I know we'll have another survivable week. I can finally finish my nappy stash lol.

NDH - He's doing a couple of weeks temporary work at the power station, doing the shut down. $25/hr and then on Saturday it was double time and a half. And what's a nappy stash?

Xpecta - I know, it is amazing. Funnily enough it happened just after I decided to start praying again, something i didn't think I would realy do, but i did and shall continue to do so now.
