team yellow the baby didnt want to cooperate and on the NHS its a " we will tell you if we can but if your baby wont show we wont try to get baby to move to show us" which totally sucks caus if im having a girl i want a cute little dress outfit for christmas photos but you can bet they will all be sold out when baby actually arrives

oh man that does suck! if you were here they would have you come back for a follow up. i want to know on mine too. my last 3 have been boys so if its a boy thats fine, but i need to get some new clothes if its not!

Why not just buy one just in case? Or Schedule another scan.

I went window shopping for girl stuff!! I want a baby girl so bad! I hate the fact that I have to wait SOO long to find out!! It's driving me mad!

xpecta- do you have a scan date yet? i just got my 20 week scan date scheduled today. its oct 31 at 8am. i got my last one at 18 weeks but this time i have to wait til 20+1. im really happy to have it scheduled though, i cant wait!!!

Yeah, its not til October 21st though. I've had it scheduled for over a month already. I just want it to come!! I'm feeing rather impatient

how much is it over there to get a private scan hun? my DH said he would pay for me to have one before our 20 week one, but i think it would be silly. i cant spend money on something that im getting anyway. esp with 5 kids to raise, not to mention teaching them patience lol. i am so anxious too!!!!

Yeah, I'm broke too! Its definitely not a fun thing at all. Well, I guess at some point, you will know no matter what hey? When they come out, you'll know for Sure!

Its SO hard to be patient for some reason this time. Last time we didn't want to know. I don't know why we need to know So bad this time! Urrg. My Husband doesn't seem to care. He's 100% sure we're having a girl because We feel God told us so by giving us the name for her. So yeah, I'm pretty sure she's a girl too. Mainly cause we've been praying for one for 2 years, and the Name Elianna Joy came to us.

its about £100 for one locally so pricy for something we dont "need" and thats just a scan and a couple of b&w pics no video or color pics or 3d or anything

Yes, I do I have a Son named Tobias. Also had a miscarriage, I think I said that. So technically I have two Children. The name of my Miscarried Child is Noelani.

well we hosted our "homegroup" ( our church's version of a cell/small group ) last night and it was good we were talking about the Church being the bride of Christ and what that means for us

Hi ladies, Xpecta told me about this thread, so I'm peeking in to say hello! :wave: I'm a PK, raised in the Evangelical church (mostly) as a kiddo and now, my husband directs music at a Presbyterian church, so that is where we've been attending - and I love it. Great group of people and I've grown so much since we began attending there a year ago.

I bumped into Xpecta on the boards, over our love for Disney movies and a mutual love for The Little Mermaid and Simba and am glad she told me where you ladies come to chat! ^_^

expecta- yay for 16 weeks!!!!!! and love the names you pick

welcome swansong! we love disney too. there just isnt a lot of movies out today that arent borderline pornographic or have horrible language and violence. you really have to keep an eye on what the kiddos are watching nowadays, not to mention us too!

lynnikins- that sounds like an awesome time! we havent done anything like that here. we had the youth group come over for pizza and a movie and are supposed to be hosting that every other month. the first one was fun so we'll see how it goes.

The names for my Children? I have a unique taste in names...I like names that are quite rare. I guess cause my name was too common, and that's why I like my Russian name Xpecta, more than my English name.

As for Children watching TV, I agree!! Its so hard! I can't believe the kind of stuff that's on TV now. I'm keeping my son from watching Sesame Street. He wants to so bad and puts up some fits, but I just don't like that show.

the couples with children take turns hosting our housegroup so that occasionally we both get to attend rather than just one of us
