Just got back from the hospital. I have a severe chest infection. So penicillin, antibiotics and lots of ventolin.

Sara has an EEG booked for Tuesday at noon. It's an hour away so payers for the trip and the EEG itself would be appreciated She's had no further issues and God willing it was just a one off...

I got told today they won't do any form of surgery until either her kidney fails, or it is not needed because it fixes itself (it won't, it's too high of a grade). I don't know how to act right now. I was verbally shot down by the surgeon for asking questions about my daughters health and care, he had the nerve to touch my daughter without my attention, and then completely ignored me and spoke to my mother instead.

i would be asking for another surgeon hun I really dont like doctors who act unprofessionally in any way and that would include talking to my mother instead of me over the health of one of my children

Hi ladies!! Leopard, has anything come about from that situation? I hope things have been sorted!! You will be in my prayers! And don't forget, its all in His hands! He can heal your daughter, even when the doctors say no.

How are you all doing? I haven't been on in a while! Barely any time with two children now. Its a lot easier than I thought it would be! I'm really actually loving it!

Hi Ladies,

Was thinking of this group yesterday. We've been quiet.

My 37wk appt was a bit of a downer. I was tested positive for strep B virus and baby has turned so we are back to back. Sigh~ hopping s/he flips back on his own soon. But everything else is good. MW says I'll probably go till wk 40, at least, based on my last two babies.

thanks NDH- im having some latching issues. the lactation lady said his latch was fine. its very pinchy though and makes me sore. im trying to get him to latch better and hope it helps. i looked up some latching tips and had two really good pain free feeds. after that i couldnt get him to latch good again. going to our bf clinic tomorrow for advice. my supply doesnt seem so great so hopefully it will help if thats fixed. i am looking for ways to increase it, but kinda at a loss right now

thank you, it makes me wanna give it up. at least when i ff my others i could bond and enjoy them. i feel like he isnt getting the best of me and it makes me so sad to feel that way about my baby

Praying things work out Blessedmomma. I had some issues with my second child. My nurse sister told me she may not be getting enough of my breast in her mouth (even though it looked like it) so I would use my finger and gently push more in, and that seemed to do the trick.

congrats on the new arrival blessed, best way to increase supply ive found is eating real oats, i make flapjacks ( oat based bars ) or swap my breakfast to porriage it helps.
hope the BF gets better, with AJ i had a few rough weeks caus of his tounge and lip ties till he grew a bit and his mouth got bigger he still doesnt have a huge wide mouth for feed time and it can hurt if he latches poorly

thank you. i had oats for breakfast and plan on sticking to that. she fixed his latch which wasnt so bad. i was just not being aggresive enough putting him on and he was slipping down shortly after. i feel like im smothering him and he cant breath, but she said he will be fine. feeds havent hurt since going in thankfully! i was right about low supply. he isnt getting enough. he was only short by a little, but hopefully it will get better

xpecta he sleeps like a trooper! i think its genetic though. all of mine have slept really well from a week or two on. its really just getting past that first week or two

Blessed; go to your local pharmacy/health food store and get some fenugreek&blessed thistle to help with your supply. Then go see your doctor and get some domperidone
