Hi,
I'm frustrated and I don't know what to think, and I fear a bit irrational right now... but I received a phone call telling me that out of the 7 eggs they retrieved, only 5 were mature... and out of 5, only 2 have fertilized...
So, we were going to do PGD testing, but they now recommend that we don't and instead do the 5 day transfer...
Has anyone gone through the same thing? If only 2 fertilize, will they even make it to day 5? So frustraing.
I have 3 frozen that we didn't use the last IVF round, but we don't have money for another round after this... so.. .I'm thinking.. take whatever makes it to day five, and add in 1 frozen one? sigh.
Any advice? Greatly appreciated. Thanks!
