I'm feeling ok thank you, been catching up on much needed sleep not really looking forward to work tomorrow though. I had to leave early on Friday as my asthma was bad and I went to the Dr about it. I know my boss is going to be asking me questions tomorrow xx

No he doesn't know I'm pregnant, not sure what he'll make of that news LOL. He has put a lot of pressure on me in the past as he's a perfectionist, but he's also sympathetic to my asthma. He wanted me to change something right at the end of my shift last week, and cos I also have really high standards it's something I'd have stayed late to do. But I was so tired I said I'm sorry I;ve run out of steam I'll have to do it tomorrow! Still can't believe I said that So I'm torn between telling and not, what with it being so early. I know my OH won't be keen, but I think it's a good thing as he may ease up on the pressure? Just feels weird telling your boss when there are so many other people you'd rather know first, if that makes sense?! xxx

Oh no I got a High CD8 Not peak, think I would be worried if I got my peak that early

Its a tough decision to make about telling the boss but as you said it would ease the pressure and right now thats probably the best thing for you and your bean. However you wouldnt want him to treat you different in the respect it would leave others wondering lol.

I would want my friends/family to know before my boss I think. But as i said you do whats best for you and bean.

Yeah my OH has said he doesn't want my boss knowing before family and friends too (he really doesn't like my boss AT ALL) and also I know I'm supposed to be getting a (very tiny) payrise at the end of April because I've been doing my job for 3 years, and I'm thinking I don't want to give anyone a reason not to give it to me!!! I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed, but even still I think I'm going to try and keep quiet for a little while yet. Guess gotta see how it goes, both with how I'm feeling and also any stress and pressure I'm getting...

At least we've got two short working weeks with Easter HURRAH! xxx

Yeah the Easter bank Holidays are a bonus. Good time to relax and spend time with our OHs.
A high is what you get leading up to your peak. When you peak you ovulate in 12-48 hours or some where around there.
It's good because if you don't reach a peak after a few cycles (they recommend 6 I think) then you know you need to consult your doctor. It's my first proper time of using it and so hope I do get a peak!!
Yeah have to poas from CD6 up until a few days after your peak when it has gone back to low. But after it has got to know you you use less sticks.
All a bit crazy to begin with

I think it's best you do keep it quiet from your boss unless it's absolutely necessary to tell him or unless you get terrible morning sickness and he guesses lol. But fingers xd you don't

Goldfish - YAY I'm so happy that things are finally starting to happen for you, and I'm keeping everything crossed that letter comes tomorrow! Have you thought about acupuncture? It DEFO worked for me, but I've been told a lot of women chose to have it specifically alongside IVF. Any idea when the info evening will be?

AFM well I had a mini freak out about what if something goes wrong, but then thought that's motherhood and it doesn't matter how far gone I am or how old my child is, I'm always going to worry now, right?! I think the first tri forum freaked me out as the first time I went on there it was all scary threads We've booked for a scan on 2nd April though so am sure I'll feel tons better after that!!

Hmmm yes the boss, already stressed about that situation today and the day has barely started! I think I’ll just have to take each day as it comes. I’m worried there’s only so much putting my foot down and saying no to doing things I can get away with without looking like I’m being difficult. And I’m quite sure that our rules state that I’m obligated to tell work asap, although it does say at least by 12 or 20 weeks (can’t remember which).

Oh WOW for your letter, that’s so exciting so we’re both going to be counting sleeps and wishing the Easter break away! Is it just you and your OH, or will it be with several other couples too?

With acupuncture, I looked for someone who was local who specialises in fertility, but I’m on this other thread on here about acupuncture and someone pointed out that when you stick “fertility” in front of stuff then the price goes up! So I guess it would be worth looking at people that do it in general and also those who specialise. I think there are a couple of women on that thread who are from London too, although I do appreciate it’s a massive place so the people they are seeing could be miles away from you!

Yay for another high, really hope you get your peak soon! Did you have an idea of when you O’d already? Just wondering if you kinda expected it on a certain day, or really wasn’t sure at all? That’s good that there’s a 3 hour window, defo a lot more flexible than temping. And I think highs and then a peak are tons better than the digi opks I got, as they just depressed me like getting BFN!

Well defo don’t want to tell him before first scan, although my OH doesn’t want my boss knowing before we tell my OH’s family…which I know we’ll hold off doing for as long as possible because they’re Catholic and aren’t going to be over the moon that we’re not married first! So we’ll see…

I guess today is virtually a regular Thursday – that long weekend is in touching distance now

I havent really used OPKs before, I brifely used CB digitals with the smiley faces but got fed up with them so stopped using them, but that was a while ago now. I believe I ovd around CD16 but I cant be sure

Yeah really hoping I get a peak and not just continous highs but time will tell.

I hope your OHs family are accepting and pleased when you tell them, must be hard knowing they will be full of unwanted opinions.

Well HAPPY THURSDAY! Hope you have a short day what with your training. I’m hoping to get out of work early today too HURRAH FOR EASTER!

Am sure my OH’s family will be excited in the end, esp when Diddy is here…and I’m not sure if they’ll actually say anything to us. But then I don’t know if that’s worse and I’d rather they did to get it out in the open rather than being quietly disapproving. Either way ultimately I don’t care! Mary and Joseph didn’t get married until after Jesus was born, so if it’s good enough for the son of God then it’s good enough for our baby (I may not actually point this out to them though!!!!)

Did you get a smiley with the CD diggis then? I didn’t, but then I don’t think I used them for long enough! Just felt too much like getting a bfn to me. I soooooooooooooo hope you get your peak this weekend – what CD are you now?

Im CD12 today and got another high but thats ok. Its when ive got to the CD18 mark and its still reading high that I will worry.

Thank you. I'm feeling really positive this cycle, however I purchased a physic reading from a lady called Suzy Rayne who is online. She told me my conception news would come in the month of July from a June cycle and I would have a girl so who knows

That sounds amazing I bet it made it feel so much more real.
