I am not pregnant but I got my period naturally so no provera this month so massive positive for me! Also makes my cycle 34 days instead of 50 something days last month

Hi Ladies.......sorry for not being on here for over a month i guess i just get sooo tangled with everything else that i only manage to jump on here very seldomly now........No news with me at all....spoke to my gp told her that i had surgery 16th mar and af since no monitoring of blood or cycles no pills no provera to have an artifical af nothing...her response sorry not much we can do...however i have now logged a formal complaint to the NICE about the IVF in my area and county and how drs and hospitals refusing me ivf because of my weight...however the NICE guidelines do mention if you have extra weight to lose it would be beneficial as the risks are higher but nothing about U CANT HAVE IVF....or IUI which is rightfully mine to have..........no weightloss as my thyroid levels are not normal and my dr agrees that until my thyroid is sorted i wnt be able to lose the weight and may take 4 times longer than average dieters......Im so tired and sick of it that i totally have switched off now...i guess the od hasnt done me any favours nothing...but im surprised most of you still see ur dr's hospitals etc..my hospital and gp dont want to see me as nothing is wrong!!!!!!!!!!! may have to go through private IVF just for the blood tests and consultations just to see if i even have any eggs!!! WHERE R MY EGGS!!! i must have some somewhere...........grrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Ren - great to see you on here again!! And Im sorry nothing still seems to be happening for you

I agree that your doctors approach is odd...you should st least be given Clomid to see if that works after the OD. And you should definitely get thyroid medication and also be tested for insulin resistance and if you are resitant - be put on Metformin.
May be try and have a couple of private appointments - they won't cost more than 500 pounds but the doctor can prescribe you all of those things!

I do agree that getting pregnant with BMI above 35 carries loads of risks both for the mother and the baby. What's your BMI? If it is over 35 then I kinda agree with the docs that you need to lose some before getting pg. BUT it's their duty to help you!!! This is what I find so frustrating The tell you you need to lose weight, they know you have health problems that make it very difficult but they do nothing to help!!

What diet/exercise regime are you on?

I dont have any cramps yet, and normally i have bad cramps before i start so another possitive sign!!!!! And boobs are still swollen and sensitive

Ren - welcome back! Sorry things are not going well with the drs. I haven't seen much good come from OD myself, but I just had it in June. Good luck with everything. Drs can be so frustrating. I can't even count how many I went through to find one I finally like.

Maria - where are you in your cycle? Should be ovulating soon, right?

Jennie - good luck with the OPK - they are a little frustrating, but it might give you some peace of mind.

I think af starting for you is as much of a shock for you as it is for all of us.... I'm sure everyone was absolutely certain this was IT.... I mean how cruel was your PMS this cycle? Those sore boobs were the ultimate symptom!! And they only started at 10dpo

I'm so very sorry it's great that you are trying to see the positive of having a normal cycle, but this still is super disappointing and I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts

Yeah i was also certain but, I suppose all we can do is keep faith and try again. Im gonna take Clomid again this cycle and hopefully i O even earlier than CD16.

But this cycle im only gonna temp till i have confirmed O and then im gonna stop and also try not to symptom spot.

Jennie > It is possible that you just missed the peak of the surge, treat those as positives to make sure you dont miss out on a possible O. Do you temp?

Im actually 10DPO today and I was hoping that by not talking about it too much it may help...but it obviously didn't

Several BFN's today, including FRER. I always think that if you are pregnant then it'll show by 10DPO and hence Im just waiting for the wtich on Friday

Im am starting to get disappointed again - stupid PMS I guess.

This will be the 7th cycle since the OD and I ovulated on at elast 5 of them...Everything else seems to be perfect, we BD on time, use pre-seed legs up, etc - and still nothing.
I know it can take up to a year for a healthy couple so we still have a few months ahead of us but given we are fast approaching our 2nd year mark I was really hoping it would have happened by now

Sorry for the really sad post ladies - don't want to put a downer on anyone.

Jennie - did the OPKs get darker at all or have they always stayed with just 1 line?

Cridge - are you going to be doing any repeat bloods for your testosterone?

Maria - I'm so sorry you're getting bpn's! 10 dpo is still early though - lots of women get neg's then and end up with a pos later on. I'll keep my fx'd for you! I had no idea you were so many dpo! Time seems to fly for everyone but yourself, right? Yes - I get blood tests done frequently for testosterone. It was slowly going down over the year before OD and then at my 6 week check it had doubled since just before OD. I figured that I had a cyst that burst the day after I had my blood work done, so I'm hoping that I was just releasing a lot of testosterone on that day and that will will have gone back down. I get retested in a couple of weeks.

I've decided that I ovulated. It could just be wishful thinking, but I've been having that suspicion the last week or so and I just took the time to enter all my info into fertilityfriend, and it confirms that I ovulated. I don't think we dtd when necessary (it would have been the evening of the day I ovulated), so I'm not hopeful at all for a bfp this month, but I'm anxious to see what the next week has in store. If I don't start af by next Monday, then I was wrong. So I should be about 11 or 12 dpo today - and I typically have 16 days luteal phases. I really don't understand how that could have happened since I was taking NPC, but all the signs point that way - even my temps are looking like I ovulated, although they're lower than they've ever been on months that I've ovulated. So, it's just a guess, but I'm hopeful that it actually happened.

I am feeling a lot better this week! I had to have a blood test on Saturday! I c the sPecialist again tOmorrow and I am sure he will b happy I got my period naturally! Should I still start clomid today?
