Anyone in their 20's and ttc #1?

<<< Endo sufferer here too. We had only been trying 8 months thankfully when the DR said we could go ahead and do some testing. Our current tests have been hubby's :spermy: (came back normal), and my blood work.. also normal. This month was my 1st month on Clomid. Tuesday they found a good follicle and gave me an LH shot to ovulate.

:( I wish it was in the budget to do clear blue but alas it's not. Maybe after a few months of steady paychecks from my new job but I also hope it doesn't take that long to get a :bfp: Might look on Amazon thought at the Wondfo

I've had the app MyDays for the past 8 months. It allows me to track:
Start period, End period, intimate, add a note, add a photo, say if I took a bcp, my temp, my weight, my mood, symptoms, blood-flow/spotting, OPK result, CM, cervix (position, openness, firmness, feeling)
And start pregnancy (in which is tells you about how far you are and when you should be due). Then on the calendar it helps predict your AF days, high fertility days, and O day.

TY. :dust: and GL to you also

Hello! I go by PeachCheeks on here. I'm 23 years old and trying to conceive my first child with my husband. We've been trying since April of last year and have not been pregnant yet. This past month I took a break from my Clomid prescription (I've been on 50 mg for 3 months due to anovulatory cycles after birth control) and I don't think I have ovulated. It is sad and frustrating to me to know that being on birth control throughout my teenage years has affected my ttc journey so much. I guess my next step will be Provera to start AF and then start my 4th month of Clomid. Well, I was just giving a little background on where I am at right now so we can start a conversation! I would love to talk to anyone and hear any stories you are willing to tell :)

I feel your pain. Im 26 and feel like im finally in a place where i can have a child you know good job, education, and etc. Well ive been on bc since i was like 14 to help with an irregular period. I would bleed heavily every two weeks, I have taken a few breaks over the years but never for more than a couple months. Well in october i decided to wash my hands of bc and give it to GOD persay, I was using the depo shot and had only had two shots so i figured it wouldnt take long for my cycle to regulate. Dead wrong. I have been on depo before and about 6 months after i my last one ran out i found out i was pg. Unfortunately it ended in mc, so i assumed it would be about the same but yeah not so. after about three months of being off this time my period came was normal and 28 days later another one came but ive had nothing since im currently on cd 61 and totally frustrated but free to talk whenever.

Hi everyone, mind if I join?

I'm 23 and DH is just going 26, I got pregnant last May and had an mmc in august (baby measured 8+3) and ever since then we have been trying and had no luck :(
So this month I am taking agnus castus because my cycles are longer than they were pre mmc and can vary between 30-33 days, I am also taking evening primrose oil, a trying to conceive vitamin, and also I have got preseed to try when I'm in my fertile window so here's hoping this is the month! How are you all getting on? :)

Welcome :), I also m/c in august, i'm sorry for your loss.

hopefully it won't be too long until you get there :)

Hey everyone I'm 13 dpo today had negatives on cheapies at 10 and 12 dpo do waiting the iminant arrival of af. Trying not to loose hope. Had so many symptoms but they seem to be disappearing especially my very sore breasts and nipples. Anyone recommend a good trustworthy pregnancy test ?

Thanks kittykat :) sorry for your loss too. hopefully this will be our lucky month!

Flarmywife, I made an account and I'm going to try it out. Thank you for the tip! I wouldn't mind being at home all the time if I could just get pregnant... then I'd have something to look forward to! I'm the same way about chocolate.. bought some Nutella today to go with the most sour green apples I've ever had! Chocolate makes everything better :)

Hey kittykat, it's okay. I'll learn from my mom's mistakes and be more cautious around medicine. I let DH take a pregnancy test at the same time I was taking one. It made it kinda fun, but both of us got big fat NEGATIVES.

soontobepreggo, those all sound so good! I can't wait to get started on gardening. I love being outside, too. You are a teacher? I'm thinking of becoming certified to teach earth science, maybe at a middle school or high school level. I just want to be around kids. What age do you teach? I tested yesterday and BFN. :(

Hi there babyjourney!

LnDnurse, thanks for mentioning the app Glow, I just got it and I love it!

Rockstarlove, welcome to the group. Long cycles are the worst. It's harder to calculate the fertile window and it makes waiting even longer. I've read a few home remedies of how to shorten longer cycles, but I would also suggest talking to your dr about what could be going on.

Gillian.s, welcome! Sorry about your loss. I hope you caught the eggy this month! :) You mentioned you are on a TTC vitamin, which one is it?

willowtree, I think I'm with you. I had another BFN so I feel really sad. I like FRER but I've never had a positive pregnancy test so don't know which ones to recommend.

Well, as for myself, I'm just down in the dumps. I want my first baby so so badly. Today hasn't been that easy for me, I keep tearing up over every little thing. I'm trying to watch 'Love it or List it' on HGTV but am too emotional right now. >.< I think I'm going to play some Mariokart to relax haha. Anyone else play video games?

i know the feeling, when i first came off BC i only had a period every 6 months or so, and that continued right up until my miscarriage, now i get one every 35-42 days, which is a lot more often which for conceiving is nice :) i'm sure you're cycle will settle down eventually, but i know how painfully nerve-wracking the wait is!

No problem. :) if you have any questions let me know. I've been doing it for a few years now. I completely know what you mean by being pregnant would make being home all day much more manageable. see Nutella was never appealing to me.. but sour green apples sound amazing right now. Chocolate does make everything better though

It's ok to have down days. Today was kinda a down day too. Was ready to cry at almost everything. I LOVE watching 'Love it or List it". and SO jealous that you get to play mariokart. my mom/sister kept mine (GRR) when my husband and I got married and moved. I have mario galaxy though so it kinda gives me something to do. I also have sonic racing which is very similar to mario kart (except you change from a car to a boat to a plane) as the track changes with each lap.
If I still had mario kart I so would find you on with WII network and race with you

Btw peachy... after reading your post I immediately switched the channel to love it or list it

Yeah it just had me a little out of sorts because i had the two periods in a row and assumed that meant that my periods had regulated. I went to the doctor yesterday who told me that i just had to wait for it to come so this 65 day cycle may end up being like a 180 day cycle before the doctor will give me anything to help it come on. so now its just a continuation of the waiting game without the hope of af

Hi all, still no AF for me - CD38 😩 max length for me was 46 after stopping the pill. I trialed OPK didn't get a + saving the rest for once AF comes and goes...I've also starting temping (there all over the place!! Doesnt help that I work shifts) but I'm all prepared and ready for next cycle!
Wish it would just hurry up now as I'm constantly symptom spotting thinking maybe I'm preg again..then BFN!! 😩

Hi :happydance:

I'm 25 and ttc #1 with dh
April will be our first month trying but I'm already nervous that conceiving might take a while (I have huge problems with stress and anxiety)... I'm going to make a huge effort to try and relax a bit more.

Taking Seven Seas Trying for a Baby
Trying to eat healthily (difficult because I'm an emotional eater)
Trying to be more active (does cleaning the house count as exercise?!)

I've also decided to learn how to cook properly

Staying sane is a definite struggle right now but my doctor told me that its normal the if it doesnt come by july then come back and see her. I hate that wait and hopefully it'll come long before then. I won't lie i think i may just take hpts randomly just to ensure i don't get pregnant in the four month wait because from what ive researched you can ovulate w/o having a period and you won't have one until you ovulate anyway so just to be on the safe side of things.

thanks :) I'm taking the seven seas trying for a baby :)

I looked it up and I want to try it too! Tried to buy it but Seven Seas doesn't ship to my country. I live in the United States- South Carolina to be exact. I haven't seen vitamins specifically for trying to conceive anywhere here. I just take a prenatal and starting tomorrow, Clomid! AF got me this month:wacko:

You never know, you might have an easy time of it. Please don't worry about it before you even start trying! Go into it with a positive and happy outlook because it will be just fine :) Cooking is so much fun! I need to work on eating healthier too, but I am a foodie so it's hard!!
