Well, TMI alert but acupuncture and herbs have DEFO made a difference for me this cycle - I have never had so much EWCM, I'm day 5 of it!! Given up on the opks so still don't know for sure if I O'd. But am still temping so hopefully will know for sure in the next couple of days x

Just wanted to report that I had my 2nd appointment last night! After the 1st I could swear I had more EWCM around O time and this time (I was 6dpo yesterday) my lady said she'd be doing a "lifting treatment" to keep everything "up." Back next week at 13dpo, at which point, best case scenario I have a BFP to report but at the least we're hoping that my mid-cycle spotting is nowhere to be found! Hope it's going well for the rest of you ladies!

Gabby that's great news I had loads more EWCM too - lasted for nearly a week! Really hope that your spotting free and you get your BFP very, very soon!

Hayley so sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly is the acupuncture not helping at all with the sickness?

I think I'm about a week away from AF but after all the EWCM I'm not really sure and my temps weren't great to don't think I O'd still also find out we've got a problem with OH swimmers as they're not swimming the right way! So defo expecting AF and not my BFP I'm starting clomid next cycle and thinking of getting pre seed, softcups and already put my OH on some vit c and zinc. I need to speak to my acupuncturist about if she still wants to treat me because she also put my on some chinese herbs which I can't take whilst on clomid...so not sure if I'll carry on with the treatment or not.

Really hope it helps the rest of you lovely ladies and more BFPs start popping up on here really soon! xx

Hi, I'd love to join you guys. After 9 cycles of ttc and nothing!! I have decided to try acupuncture. I have my first session on Thursday and I'm really excited.
AF turned up today and i feel I need something to calm my mind. Even though I tried so hard not to obsess this tww I was terrible. So I am hoping this will help/ Also i have a LP of 10 days so it might do some magic on that too. Anyway looking forward to see how everyone gets on. GL

Unfortunately the spotting kicked in yesterday at 9dpo and continued today so no magic cure the first time around. BUT, I'm scheduled for another session on Thursday and am staying positive.

Awww sorry to hear the dreaded spotting has happened has it happened around the same time as usual, or later/earlier? I guess these things take time , although I was the same as you and really hoped I'd O from a couple of sessions! I've just text my lady to see if she'll still see me when I start clomid - really throwing everything at these next two cycles! Hope your session on Thursday helps with the spotting xx

Hello!!

No you don't have to take all your clothes off - but I made the mistake of wearing skinny jeans that couldn't be rolled up last session so had to take them off but they will need to get to your tummy, so defo wear a top and bottoms rather than a dress I had needles in my legs, ankles, tummy and arms as well as in my face and back for my asthma (she thinks it's all linked...)

From reading on here I think it varies and every acupuncturist has their own ideas. Mine wanted to see me right near the start of of my cycle and also midway through, but didn't want to see me past that. Some of the ladies here have had it during their LP though - maybe it depends on what you're being treated for too?

The acupuncturist acutually does aromatherapy and Physio too she says she treats a lot of people for fertility and has a lot of experience in this area she seemed really nice when I spoke to her and answered all the questions i needed answered.

I rang around a lot of places and I found a lot of the specialized clinics for fertility were charging a fortune. This lady is local and a lot more reasonably priced.
I wonder do some clinics bump up prices as they know people would give them all their money if it meant it would increase their chances.

Maybe that is just the cynic in me but everything from vitamins to Lube quadruples in price if they stick the word fertility in front of it

God you're sooooooo right about that and the cost. Same with "wedding" you'll have to let us know how you get on! The first time I didn't enjoy it so much as I was nervous, but the second session I came back sooooooooo relaxed it was bliss xx
