My first appt is 9/24 then two weeks after that is our first scan!

Aw bless you baby dust 1 - my dd was like that when she started nursery. It did take a while for her to settle in as she is a proper mummy's girl but she loves it now and it's been so good for her. So hard when they're upset but keep going with it! What are you studying at college??

Af due on sat but I still feel she could show up at any time!! Makes me scared to go for a wee!!!! :-) (though at least then I can buy the boots I want!) x

Haha but either way you could still treat yourself!! Hahha

Im studying access to nursing :-)

I know my daughter is a mummies girl too it was horrible knowing she hadn't eaten her dinner or even tried and that she wasn't bothered about children or playing just sat and waited for me to arrive she nearly knocked me over with excitement when I walked into collect her lol.. I just hope eventually she will settle down and be alright. I don't like going knowing she is unsettled :'(

Aw bless her, bless you! I promise it does get easier. Just a case of them getting used to it :-) - I always talk super positively about nursery to make her see its a nice place to be and nothing to be scared of. I think that helped in the early days... I also used to keep saying to her 'and you know I will pick you up at the end of the day' to make her realise it wasn't forever. Anyway I hope it gets easier, first day done and dusted now!

A little girl who is prob about the age of your dd started in my daughters class at nursery a couple of months ago and she used to scream and scream and scream to start with. Honestly I have never heard anything like it! But she is super happy now, so it really doesn't last forever.

Hugs anyway xx

thanks hun its Nice to have some positive.stories that it will get easier, I.hope it does quick because it'll help me not to worry while trying to focus on learning all I thought today was oh my ive not left her with anyone other than me or her dad before what's it going yo be like is she happy is she crying :'( hopefully things will get better I tried telling her today that ill pick her up soon but she just looked at me like please dont go... :'(

Bless you. It does just take time I'm afraid! How often is she going to be going? I think it is definitely harder when they go in and are older as they have so much more awareness now. When my dd cries when I leave her I just try to remind myself that it's good for her to have time away from me sometimes. I struggled so much when I went to primary school as was so un-used to being away from my mum and although we have tricky days, I feel like its so good for my dd to get used to that concept sooner rather than later. Xx

Hi ladies, I'm back from holiday! We had a lovely time but have come back with colds, that'll teach us for going away in the UK in September :haha:

I have to say a big congrats castawaybride! Im so happy for you! I really wish you a H & H 9 months!

Afm AF came today after spotting for a couple of days. Part of me is sad that I'm not pg and of course I'm reminded of my mc, but then another part of me is looking forward to the next cycle which I'm hoping will be more settled than the last. Plus I'm going to start using my cbfm so that's exciting. :happydance:

I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Bekib10 sorry that af came :-( but glad you had lovely hols. Hope the cbfm does the trick this month, fingers crossed for you xx

she only goes twice a week as other time her dads off work so he has her, I think it's good for her to be able to go and be away from me because it gets her used to it its like she has separation anxiety she screams so much just hoping it'll get better soon! 2nd day today lets hope its better :-)

Hello all!
Im still no closer to finding out whats going on with me.AF is due today, based on my cycles being what they were before i went back on BC.There is no sign of it,and ive been testing on IC and BFN.As im not exactly sure when i OV its difficult to work out what the hell is going on.I had slight cramping two days ago which could have been IB,but i think im just reaching.Worse case scenario,my cycles are messed up after coming off BC.
Im tempted to go into town and get a FRER,but really dont want to waste the money just to see BFN.If im out i just want to get on to the next cycle
This is driving me mad!

:dust:

Sorry to hear about your daughter Babydust not settling into nursery- I hope she's had a better day today.

Dogtanian- argh how frustrating for u :-( it's a pain when AF lingers and u don't know if you're coming on or not. But (like I think Fleur said) its not over until its over so you just never know. Keeping my fingers crossed for u!

Tomorrow and until next Thursday I'll go quiet on here guys as we're going away whoop whoop. Can't wait!! Good luck to everyone and I'll look forward to any news when I get back :-D

Have a fabulous vacation Twinks!!!

Yeah have super duper hols. I too am away from fri back on Monday - but let's keep this thread going! I've not told anyone we are ttc again so it's fabulous to have you girls here to talk to.

Today I've felt really glum - one of my good friends had a baby yesterday (her second) - I'm so happy for her as she is a wonderful person and totally deserves it but I can't help feeling a tad envious :-( I know I will get there but I just want to screech in a toddler voice - why can't it be meeeee!!! :-) xx

Lol Fleur I know what u mean I haven't actually told anyone either and love the fact I can openly talk about it on here. I'm only keeping it a secret from family as I want to surprise them- although how 'surprised' they'll actually be I don't know lol as they know I want more children ha ha.

Aw it will be you soon too Fleur and it's something we can all really look forward to! How lovely your friend has had a baby :-D lots of bubba cuddles! I get terribly broody when I see anyone with a lil one and cry at every Midwife programme I watch ha ha!

Thanks guys we'll have a lovely hol- just wrapped up packing. We've almost exchanged on our house now too so hopefully we'll come back to good news and we can set a completion moving date eek :-D

Have a lovely weekend holiday Fleur :-)

She sobbed this morning but the nursery had said she played alot more today and that it may take her a while but she will get there. :-)

Hope you ladies enjoy your time away! :-)

I'm quite looking forward to my trip away but we aren't taking dd (we are going to Poland for a wedding) and I've never left her more than overnight yet!!!! 3 whole days away from her! It will be nice to have a lie in though :-) and I know she will have a brill time at home with her grandma. Still already looking forward to getting back to her on Monday though!!!! X
