Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Dogtanian hope you get some answers soon but try not to stress. More often it's nothing major.

Fleur last pregnancy I had spotting after DDT and always freaked me out. That first scan will put all our minds at ease.

Gosh fleur your poor lo, 40 is a very high temp. Tonsillitis is nasty, I hope she's feeling better soon.

Dogtanian, sending lots of hugs your way. I know this must be a really stressful time for you button fully it's nothing serious. Look after yourself hun and have some lovely treats to try and make yourself feel better. I hope you get some answer soon. Xx

I'm having a sort of pj and cleaning day today with my dd as I don't work Wednesday! We went to look at a house yesterday and I absolutely loved it, but my husband is being all sensible and doesn't want to rush into anything so I don't think we will end up putting an offer in or anything. Feeling really sad as I was so excited about it! We need a bigger house and this one was lovely and so big, there were some compromises but aren't there always?! He's just being sensible I know but I'm much more impulsive!

How's everyone else?

Fleur- i hope your LO is ok.Mine has only ever been ill once in her life and she had tonsilitis,it was awful, hope her temp calms down.
Im hoping the murmur isnt anything serious but i do have lots of pain in that area, and have done for a long time,i ignorantly thought i had a stitch or pulled muscle.
Its so bad im not even well enough to go to the hospital for my blood test and ecg.Am going to wait untill tomorrow so my brother can take me
Where is everyone in their cycle? im CD17,no sign of OV yet
:dust:

You poor thing :hugs: I really hope you start to feel better very soon and that tomorrow goes ok. Keep us posted.

When do you normally ov? Soon? X

Aw dogtanian - sounds like you are really bad :( I hope they can figure out whats wrong tomorrow. hugs xx

Thanks for your thoughts re my dd - she is ok, she is at home with granny today and then my mum is looking after her tomorrow so she can have a proper rest before going back to the infested pit of germs - aka nursery!!!! i was amazed that she slept through the night last night as fully expected to be up several times but I think she was just wiped out. She was definitely brighter this morning so fingers x is on the mend. Good old banana flavoured antibiotics!! Honestly I couldnt believe it when the thermometer said 40!!!!!!!!!!! She has never had a temp like that before, not nice. Ugh I hate winter!! Christmas is the only thing thats good about winter!!!

Mrs W - you sound like me and my hubby! He is the sensible one who holds back and I am impulsive and want to buy stuff like houses!!! Will you have enough space in your current house for 2 kids or do you definitely need to move before the new baby arrives? X

Infested pit of germs haha, that made me laugh. Bless her, I hope she starts feeling better now the antibiotics have kicked in.

We only have 2 bedrooms so we do need to either move or convert our loft into a third bedroom before baby comes. Baby can go in with us for 6 months but I don't want all that hassle with a newborn I'd rather do it now. But mr laid back doesn't want to rush!! X

Oh gosh Fleur hope you're ok. I'm sure you will be now- I've only just caught up with the threads but it must have been scary for you. Hope you're ok now and good news the spotting has stopped.

Castaway- hope you're feeling ok now too hun and it's ok to feel like you do and it will all work out for you soon hun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed you've caught again quickly x

Dogtanian- sorry to hear you've not been well :-( Hope you're feeling better now too!

I'm on cd 12 and its been highs all the way from cd7. I'll hit my usual peak tomorrow no doubt and then it'll be waiting. We've been super busy so haven't had a lt of time to think about ttc but we have been bding a fair bit so here's hoping :-)

Thanks twinks! No more spotting thank god so hopefully just a one off, touch wood. It's been quite a week what with dd tonsilitis! Then today we are having some work done on our kitchen as have a bit of damp on one wall (we had our kitchen redone at the start of the year so it's unfortunate that we didn't realise we needed this extra thing done then as now have a brand new posh sparkly kitchen) anyway the mess is just unbelievable! I nearly cried when I got home - kitchen is totally unusable!!!!!! Arghhh!

Mrs w I was trying to think if its preferable to move or do work and quite honestly I think you're better off moving! Having work done to your house is sooo stressful and not what you need with your dd and when pregnant. So my vote is for a new house - you can tell your hubby from me!!!

Twinks - fingers x for peak day tomorrow. That's good you've been getting lots of bd in!

How's everyone else? Castaway - you close to testing?

Dogtanian - did you make it for your tests?

Oh I'm so glad it's the wknd! It's been one long week! X

Mrs W I feel your pain re: moving. We are in a 2 bdrm condo now and I love it but with 2big dogs and dd getting older it's hard. Hubby wants to move into a temporary house while we sell the condo and look for a more permanent house. Not sure it's ideal moving dd while preggo and with another one on the way! Taking it one day at a time. If we could sell the condo quickly and find the house we want with one move it would be better.

Fleur have you had any US's? I have heard of those with twins having a little spotting before they find out! :wink wink:

I test Saturday....that would probably be the earliest I can test as I believe the O was on the 16th.My husband is gone all weekend on a boys weekend so I will be peeing away all weekend! LOL Last pregnancy I tested AM BFN, afternoon BFP! :haha:

Castaway dont say that!???? Is it terrible to say that twins would quite honestly be a nightmare for me?!! I just can't imagine coping with THREE kids under three?!! I've not had any scans yet but I will be scared now!! ;-)

Sparky - not good re moving but it's hard if you need the space. I hope you get it sorted. Moving is no fun at the best of times!

Castaway - how exciting that you're testing this weekend!! Keep us posted wont you? I am hoping and praying for a beautiful bfp for you xx

I went for my tests yesterday,so hopefully i will get the results back in the next week to ten days.
Needed to take DD to docs today as she has an eczema type rash but im not well enough so hubby is taking her which hes never done before without me.Ive had to write all the symptoms down for him and give him instructions on how to get her prescription haha, men are so funny.
Fingers crossed for you this weekend Castaway
:dust:

Fleur you would be fine with 3 little ones....better you then me! :haha:

Dogotonian: My hubby would be lost with out me too, I hold his hand through many tasks so yes, men are pretty funny! I hope you start to feel better soon!

I am still getting slight negatives but I *think* I ovulated on the 16th so that would mean Sat/Sun I would start to see the climb as I usually implant fairly early...we shall see. It won't go completely negative until after my first AF...so we shall see if it is BFP or AF!

Castaway!!!!!! It's not funny!!!! :-) my grandad was a twin and it's always worried me a bit!

Dogtanian - so sorry that you still feel so ropey :-( but good that dh is helping out. Men are in general fairly helpless though I find!

Castaway - lots of luck with testing. I've always been too scared to test before af!!

I usually implant very early and have been postive every time we decided to try lol who knows the miscarriage has sent my body on quite a ride!!

Good luck testing castaway.

How are you feeling fleur? I'm feeling shattered! Got a wedding this wkend, I hate this bit when you have to hideout from people, my friends will guess when they realise in not drinking.

Yeah not bad today. I often find the days I'm with dd I forget that I'm pregnant as she keeps me so busy!!

Oh no poor you I hate it when everyone blatantly knows you're preg, you know they know, but no one says anything!!! I hope it goes ok. Do you have a cover story?? I have managed to plan our social diary so we have no drinking events for the time being!!

Ooh and I phoned up today to check about my 12 wk scan as hadn't heard anything - fri 20 dec... Feels soooo far away! So fingers crossed we will have some good news to tell people over Christmas! X

How brilliant you get it just before Christmas though Fleur. Good luck for then.

Mrs W I found holding a half glass of bubbly or wine worked a treat for getting me through a wedding, a 30th and Christmas last time. I did such a good job no one realised until the Feb when I was 22wks!! Turning up late to parties is always a good trick too. A few drinks in people are less observant. :)

Can't you also walk around with seltzer water or something they think is alcohol? I don't drink so I luck out no one expects to see it lol
