No no one asked or said anything but I know they will have noticed! I was just hoping to keep in under wraps til after my scan really... It's such an odd time at work with all the reshuffling I could just do without speculation over this! But hey ho. I couldn't believe it when the champers was brought out - we never normally drink over lunch!!!!

Hope you don't feel too knackered mrs w and the in laws don't guess. Will you tell them soon? We still haven't told our folks yet!

We don't have much on, just seeing some friends for lunch and that's it! X

I'm on cd 7 today and very confused! My cbfm has come up on a high today??! I've never ever had a high on cd7 both the first time I used it and for all the cycles I've used it so far! Little bit confused so just going to try and be on every other high day as I'm sure I'll ovulate bang on normal (cd13).

Dogtanian- hope your lo has been better today. I totally get what you mean as we have days where our lo is fantastic then all of a sudden he'll be incredibly hard work for a day with loads of tantrums. Love him to pieces tho tantrums and all ;-)

My lo has really dry eczema like skin around his mouth at the min and I'm sure it's down to dribble/ hot and cold- going inside and outside at the min. Is anyone else's lo suffering with a dry face? Going to take him to the docs as I've tried a few things from the chemists with no luck so far. He doesn't seem bothered but I think it looks sore

My dd can be pure evil and a total angel within the space of 24 hours! It's incredible!

She also has a chapped chin, twinks and I too think its the combo of drool and cold air have you tried Vaseline? Maybe worth a trip to the doctor if he has bad eczema though? Not sure if they could give you anything but at least then you know you've done everything in your power, if that makes sense!! X

I hate that when you write a long reply and it gets deleted how are u feeling hun? Can't remember if you've answered this but will u stay team yellow or find out the sx of lo?

I usually have two highs and ov on cd 14/15. Last month I got one high and this month the monitors decided to make up for the lack of highs last month! I reckons I'll have about 7 highs! Lol! Crazy machine ;-)

Aw I just feel so sorry for him. He got very dry cheeks last year but this year seems worse with the redness and spots I've tried a few things but haven't tried Vaseline yet so going to give tht a go tomorrow and then off to docs jist to check of there's anything else I can do to help/ prevent. It does seem very cold at the min. Perhaps snow for Xmas?? :-D xx

Mrs w still so excited for you! What a fab birthday for your hubby! It's weird when you think you could be preg but try and tell yourself that you're not so you don't get your hopes up! But just goes to show that some symptom spotting is valid!!!

Sparky have you seen your midwife yet? I was told to call mine at 8 wks which is a week today. I was really stressing earlier as my boobs didn't feel like they hurt as much (which has been my main symptom!) but they're back with a vengeance tonight - phew! Funny the things that put our minds at ease?!!

Sorr ladies writing from the iPad so replying to a few quotes. Don't see the midwife until dec.4!! I will be 10 or 11 weeks! Should get a scan shortly after that.

Congratulations Mrs W! Yay for another BFP!

Sparky what did the naturopath give you? I'm intrigued as I had dreadful all day ms - though nausea and dry heaving, rather than being sick last time. Luckily it was mostly gone by 10wks (to be replaced with heartburn and rib flare ) but I'm scared how I'd cope a second time.

Anyone have a plan for next cycle?

Naturopath did some acupuncture on the nausea pressure point. It was totally agrivated! She also gave me a couple different remedies to try based on my symptoms the Sepia seems to work best.

I only shoot the pre seed, a very small amount way up there. We can't really feel it while having sex. It would go way up there to assist with getting the sperm through the cervix (at least that is what I told myself lol)....

Another 'technique' I've heard is of putting it onto your hubby's manhood (ha!!!!) right before you dtd.

Hi Fleur I have been around just not myself so haven't really been posting. I ovulated yesterday so if there was an egg who knows if we are pregnant. I am wondering if I can go through it all again to be honest but we have not been very careful so who knows! After my AF I promised my hubby one more try so will start the monitor up for the third time.

Aw castaway - sending you huge hugs, I'm not surprised you don't feel like yourself. I am keeping everything crossed that you caught the egg this month - keep us updated! I know you get bfp's early so will you test in a week or so? You really deserve a bfp, I so hope you get it.

Girls I just went to the loo and had some pink cm - am really really panicking now. Not had any cramping or anything else and dh and I dtd yesterday so maybe related? I never had spotting with my dd so really feeling quite worried have been for a wee twice since and there is nothing but I know this is often how mc start keep your fingers crossed for me xx

Sending big hugs fleur. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry, how many weeks are you? With my first I had spotting whenever my period was due so 8 weeks, 12 weeks and I think 16 too. They say every pregnancy is different so it still could be, my sister had no spotting with her first but did with her second so was very worried. Look after yourself and rest, I'm sure it's all normal. Xxx

Sorry you haven't been feeling yourself castaway. You look after yourself too, lots of treats, warm baths and get your hubby spoiling you. I really hope you get your bfp soon.

I haven't used pressed so I'm not sure how that works but I hear it mentioned so often it's meant to be very good

Oh ps fleur, we haven't told anyone yet. Last time we told our parents about 9 weeks so if all is ok we will prob do the same as I won't have a scan till jan and they would def guess over Xmas anyway. I'd like to tell my mum now but my hubby's mum, although very lovely is sometimes a bit full on and I don't want her getting exciting and carried away until I have to so will delay as long as I can. Castaway- so sorry to hear you have been feeling down,its totally normal to feel this way with everything you have been through,just try your best to stay positive.
Fleur- stay positive too! Im sure the pink CM is nothing to worry about,but we all remember how scary first tri is so easier said than done

Ive had a horrid couple of days.Since the start of this cycle i have been taking inositol tablets to help with the regulation of insulin in my body,i have suffered blood sugar problems most of my life,and previously had pcos so thought it might help with my sugar cravings etc.This was a big mistake.Ive reacted awful to the tablets,blurred vision,dizziness,tummy ache,so bad ive had to stop taking them.Its also got me wondering that i may have type 2 diabetes,which i was told might happen to me at some point in my life.Ive looked up the symptoms and i have nearly all of them so im going doctors tomorrow to ask for blood tests.
Ive been so anxious and emotional that the last couple of days have been unbearable.
Im currently CD14 and we havnt in a week cos im just not up to it,i didnt OV till CD24 last time so i dont think i have missed it.
I just want to start feeling like myself again so i can give TTC a proper go.I feel so unhealthy and like my body is falling apart,i look like crap!

Fleur, pregnancy and dtd in the first tri can cause spotting. I don't do the deed in first tri b/c the spotting use to freak me out! lol That is something that happens b/c the cervix is so sensitive (and is not a bad thing if you see a bit of spotting)....I often get brown spotting around the time of my period while pregnant. Try not to worry!

Dogtonian: Feel better....it is so hard when our bodies are so out of whack!

Well I am considering this 1 DPO. My ovulation sticks are starting to fade, yesterdays were the darkest so I am assuming that means I O'd yesterday? I don't have my trusty monitor to tell me! lol So in theory I would know in about a week, week and a half. If not I expect my period on the 30th....I honestly wasn't using the Ovulation sticks as we decided to just have fun this time until I got my AF. Well I had some discharge and was like hmmm.....peed on the O sticks and saw them get darker by the evening. Then I thought, well we dtd the day before and the day of O so maybe....we shall see. I am not sure if I will even O this time around as often with miscarriage you do not O after for a cycle or two in some women...this is my first time experiencing this so we shall see. I am just so happy to see my body trying to get back together!

Thanks guys, really appreciate your kind words. I still feel super stressed but no more spotting as yet so just the one time yesterday evening. I also counted back and based on the 27 day cycles I was having, my period would've been due this weekend. Argh I don't know. Trying to stay positive whilst at the same time preparing myself for the worst...it's horrible. I must've been to the loo ten times today already! Trying to avoid google...

Dogtanian - sorry you've had a bad few days, I hope the doctor can run some more tests and give you some better medication!

Castaway - sounds positive for ovulation tests, will keep everything crossed. It's great that it sounds like your body is getting back to normal anyway. Keep us posted!

Oh dogtanian, sending big hugs to you. And don't apologise we are here to give support when one if us needs it. I really hope your doctor is able to help and that you start feeling better very soon. If you do have type 2 I'm sure you will adjust quickly. Look after yourself and don't stress too much about ttc, maybe when you feel so ill just relax this month? You will be back to yourself in no time I'm sure!

Fleur I'm glad you've not had anymore spotting, I'm sure it was normal. Sending big hugs, I know exactly how you feel as I panicked last time when I spotted. I'm currently worrying as my boobs are not sore, but with my dd I had very sore boobs during early stages.

Went to the docs today and he did a urine test for diabetes and the test was negative,hes sent me for loads of blood tests including all the hormone ones and a blood test for celiac disease as im gluten and wheat intolerant,i have a feeling this might be it.He also said i have a heart murmur so has sent me for ecg and heart scan.
I am hoping that there is something wrong with me so that i can get some answers and help! Im very worried

Dogtanian - I'm glad it's not diabetes as that is no fun hope it isn't any of the other things too! Although like you say - be good to get to the bottom of it. Re heart murmur - my aunt has one and has lived a 100% normal life so I don't think it has to be something scary or worrying although totally understand why you would feel worried. Anyway huge hugs to you xx hope your hubby is looking after you x

I've not had any more spotting so am hoping that it was just dtd at the wknd that caused it. I still freak every time I go to the loo?!! I don't think I will feel calm until I have had confirmation at my scan etc.

Also had to take dd to the out of hours gp as she had a ridiculously high temp (40!!) this eve and not at all herself - it was horrible! Turns out she has tonsilitis poor love so not sure how much sleep I will get tonight
