I know!!!
I thought that was an old wives tale...getting a bfp on the IVF or adoption waiting list lol.... this was a completely natural cycle too, no meds and no iui.

are you guys sitting down??????!!!!!!!!! I got my this morning, can you believe it??!!!
After 15 months of TTC, 5 failed IUIS, 4 failed clomid cycles, and after paying $8,000 deposit for IVF to start the very next month I got a bfp today. Okay as I am writing this, I think its starting to hit me and I am a bit emotional with tears in my eyes. I will write more later but you ladies have been my rock, I could have never gone through the ups and downs without you guys.
I am 12dpo today but started getting something faint at 10dpo on the dollar store tests...and I mean faint...I thought naaa they are $1.25 so that just must mean how they work. Well todays test was a good line within 2 minutes and then I took a digi. I am still in disbelief, I mean it ladies miracles do happen and it did for us. I am starting the new lucky streak so Taebo and Never and Chia, you lovely ladies are next.

So Joli, I guess we were bump buddies and never knew it!!! So wonderful and cool, you brought in a new life yesterday and I am just starting one.
more to come and yes of course I am nervous about the pregnancy after all this time.

Okay, so I've had a full 3 minutes to digest this news...but my mouth is still on the floor!! LOL. Good for you!!!!! I know you were dreading IVF, so the fact that you did it naturally is even more exciting! I'm sooo UNBELIEVABLY happy for you!!!

Britt, I know it's scary and that you can't help to worry, but remember that the odds are in your favor for a continued pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Nevertogether, it WILL happen! Before we were married, hubby and I did the long distance thing. He came to see me on Christmas, and apparently that was around O time. LOL. We didn't even "do it all the way"...and still I got pregnant. Sometimes it's just about luck. I don't know how long you've been trying, but that fact that it's so spaced out has got to make it seem like so much longer, which has got to frustrating! It will happen.

Gotta go, kids are waiting for their teacher to return!

Britt...I am feeling so positive about your IVF starting, although I always had this gut feeling that you would get your BFP before IVF started - any chance for this cycle? I see you are 10dpo. I got pregnant technically just before I was supposed to start.

Just thought I would quote myself...hate to gloat and say I told you so but I am sure in this case we are all thrilled my gut was right for a change!!!

Just shows, it doesn't take all the BD/meds in the world, and no symptoms can be a good thing! All it takes is a little magic and .

Meant to post more yesterday but ended up being productive for a change! Hoping it's nesting, I could use some motivation to get all of the baby stuff together and Ben's b-day is a week from Sunday! DH wants another Halloween baby but I doubt he'll come that early.

Taebomama: Did you end up testing yesterday? Keep us updated!!! How's it going with hubby's health? I have the same problem with my DH, he seems so unconcerned with his health...trying to get him to want to lose some weight with me after the baby! If you find anything that works let me know! Hope you're doing well!

ok, I've expressed my excitment on the grad thread, but OMG BRITT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is honestly such amazing news, I can't believe I wasnt around the day you found out!!!! Just incredibe, I am just speechless - there are no words to expess how happy i am for you!!!

Taebo - you are just the sweetest, I'm really touched by your messages about Harrison. How is everything with you and DH? The last time we chatted, you were saying how worried you were about his health.

Never - how gutting that you have to wait until Nov!! Aw hon, you must be dissapointed...but it's just around the corner now! So no chance for you two to meet at Christmas?

I am utterly exhausted and sleep deprived, but loving being a new mommy. I was committed to do solely breastfeeding, but baby has jaundice, and the pedatrician said he either has to go into hospital for 48 hours of phototherapy or we do 48 hours of feeding him formula... so we opted for formula so that this would be less stressful on him, but it really upset me (probably more than it should have, as my hormones are making me go crazy!). Funny, I didn't feel a massive change in emotion getting pregnant, but since giving birth I feel like I'm trying all the time not to cry! When Harrison had his BCG shot, I cried because he was crying and was in pain. Motherhood sure is amazing
