April Mummies 2011

anyone from this site that i have as a friend i suggested to you two as well

Its a place called Bodyline Studio. Its not a big chain like weight watchers, jenny Craig etc :)

is it the same kind of thing? i tried weight watchers and they weren't as detailed as i needed and jenny i hear you have to purchase their food which just doesn't work.

I guess its the same...I have never done weight watchers or jenny so i cant say for sure but my MIL said it was the same when i showed her my info :)

I lost 40 pounds on weight watchers in 2004 and now am trying to lose on my own based on what I learned by doing weight watchers. I have about 30 pounds to lose  I know I'll lose it but it took me a year to lose the 40 I lost in 2004.
I had to go walk my field today at work and by the end (~2 hours) I was in a little pain. I'm still going to continue with restricted duty but I think I'm getting better. I'm pretty sure I have to walk another field tomorrow and spend a little time in my warehouse. Hopefully I can ease into my normal duties.
Isis only ate 6 oz (plus lunch from me) while at school today. I'm convinced she's transitioning to not eating while at school. Time will tell I guess. Someone will be getting a ton of milk if she refuses bottles while I'm at work.

Ah I don't even know what I have to lose!?

I guess 20lbs or less, really unsure. I hate the scales!

My only saving grace is my height, soI can hide it pretty well but I wouldn't mind fitting into my size 12s one day.

I've got about 35lbs to loose.
On FB I'm Samantha Anderson (Samantha fox) usually just on my phone so lots easier for people to add me ;)
Rosie is still BF only and she sleeps from 8/9 until 8/9 but usually wakes one time in-between then anywhere from 1 til 5... works for me so far

I had 100lb to lose... Still feel like I have, but ive lost 18 so far. This week feels like a massive weightloss failure though.

omg my son is a nightmare today! he woke at 2.45 last night and decided he didn't need any more sleep, so took until around 6 to go back to sleep (not funny!!) and now funnily enough he is super tired but will not go to sleep so is jst crying instead :(, actually can't settled him but it is simply he shouty cry so theres nothing else wrong and ive tried feeding him again and changing his nappy, and giving up on sleep to try playing but nothings working and cuddling him seems to make him worse! worse day so far atm!

On my phone so ill catch up another time.
Might not be online for a while.
Me and Ollie are BOTH in hospital.

I got took in by ambulance yesterday morning with crippling abdo pain and vomiting to be told it was an allergic reaction.
Went home an slept to be woken up by someone shouting 'gem, ollie isn't responding'
So jumped up an grabbed the baby and he'd gone limp an floppy yet again so rushed him to A+E where they gave him oxygen an he came round again.

By that time I started to deteriorate and don't really rememeber much other than intense pain. I was pretty much unconcious for most of the night and doped up on morphine an whatever else they've pumped into me. Still am now actually!

Anyway baby is stable an should be able to go home soon but there's no sign of me being let home yet till they sort out what's up with me. I've been put on a surgical ward an been told there's a chance ill need an operation.

Shittiest week ever.

Oh no sorry o hear that gem! Get well soon xxx

Oh Gem! Hope you and Ollie are OK, Hun x

Emmy - Let us know how the baby is, sending prayers up for them.

Hope y'all are doing OK. Busy times at the moment which is why I've not been about much.

Well things here... Whilst not wishing to jinx anything, Gabe is an absolute little star. Happily goes to bed between 8-10 each night and the earliest he wakes is around 5. This has been going on for around 3 and a half weeks now and the last 2 nights he has gone from 8.30 through to 7. I have no idea how or why, but little man has decided that this is his routine and my word I am grateful. Believe me, it was nothing like this with the 3 girls!

In other news, my eldest (Charly) has been having her induction at High School and is thankfully really happy about it. Wonderful news but she is still a hormonal bag of stroppiness. Middle daughter (Willow) is doing her very best to wind up everyone whilst batting her beautiful eyelashes and pleading innocence. She has already lost her computer privileges and has been banned from playing her DS... I wonder what she will have to be banned from next :dohh: Youngest girlie (Eliza) has a giant purple bump from a fall last night just in time for school pictures this morning and is otherwise being the sweetest big sister to Gabe. He is her 'little guy' and she loves him all the world :cloud9: OH (the wonderful Keith) is having the snip on Sunday. I feel very very guilty about it but we made the decision together, he is genuinely happy with the choice we have made and yet I still feel like poo. Go figure. I will say that there is no way at all that I could go through another pregnancy and birth like I had with Gabe and the worry alone (never mind the physical side of things) would cause me serious harm, so it IS the right choice. Ho hum.

I feel pretty good today though. Sun is shining, I am not hurting so much, baby boy is taking a nap whilst Eliza is watching Tom & Jerry and Keith is due back from London tonight. Usually when things are good like this the inlaws strike, so I won't be answering the phone this afternoon :haha:

I'll endeavor to be around a lot more, girls, we all need to be able to chat and get help and support. You are all great, thankyou for our little community, it means a lot to know that you are all here :flower:

Gem, hope you and Ollie get better soon :hugs:

Ohh No Gem! Hope you and Ollie get better soon :hugs:

*Well i finally got an update about my cousin's little boy..He is doing better, he has to wear oxygen and will probably have to go home on it but he is stable for now..Thank goodness!! :) Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!*

Oh Gem! It seems like one thing after another! Keep your chin up, it has to get better! I hope little Ollie and you are better soon!

Emmy, I'm glad your cousin's baby is doing better!

Amethyst, I'm glad things are going well for you. Definitely don't answer that phone! Glad your little man is being good for you!

Caro, sorry your little guy won't settle. I have no ideas. I mostly use a pacifier and swaddle Isis and it seems to work at least most of the time.

Jakes, I wish I had height to hide my weight. All I have is that I'm pretty proportional. I don't have a bigger top or bottom. I seem to gain weight everywhere :haha: Right now my big boobs are making my weight seem less :haha:

Cottleston, you've done really well! sometimes your body just needs some time to adjust to the weightloss.

Last night DH told me that one of our favorite coworkers and friend has taken a job with a different division in Hawaii. I'm very sad. Earlier this year we had the same thing happen with another coworker/friend. I feel like we're all alone in this area and everyone that we have as friends are leaving. I love our house and I love the area but I'm finding myself enjoying it less around here. We live in a small town and everyone knows each other so it's very clique-ish. I don't know what we're going to do. DH and I both could get jobs at HQ in St. Louis but I don't want to live in a big city. I love that Isis is going to grow up with 6 acres to roam and a pond to play in. She could do 4-H and FFA. So maybe we just have to suck it up and realize that we might not have friends locally but we have each other and an awesome place to live. We can always travel to visit our friends. We might end up in St. Louis anyway since that's where we have to go if DH wants to move up in the company.

:hugs: Gem. Get better soon so you can get home to Ollie.

Caro - we have days like that (& nights!) so you have my sympathy. Have you tried taking him out? That sometimes works for us. Think Rex gets bored of me & the house!

Oh gem :hugs: :hugs: hope you and ollie are both doing ok xx

Tobys been a diamond for once! Had a 30 min nap this morning and a 45 minute nap this afternoon so I managed 40 mins of step aerobics!

oh my god who stole my baby's smile today! She has either slept (3 hour "nap" this morning!) or SCREAMED unless she's with me! This is SO not like her at all :(
