April mummies 2014 :)

Azure- I am so glad you got a picture! I took a picture of my last feeding session also and will cherish it forever. How exciting to be starting food!!! Peas were Odin's first too.

Kksy9b- Teeth? Adorable! Odin is till working on that first tooth. I'm not looking forward to the teething.

Thank you so much Azure, so is baby Colton. We definitely have some handsome little guys and beautiful little girls in this group.

Some fab updates. Love hearing what all the babies are up to :D

Leo is rolling around everywhere. Even in bed which freaks me out a bit if I wake up & look at the monitor to see him sleeping on his tummy. He's working on sitting still but can manage a few seconds by himself or he cheats & props himself up with his arms :haha: He'd much rather be on his tummy wriggling around & playing with toys like that. He's also a massive fan of his Jumperoo. He bounces so high!

I've just started to wean him off BF last week. Doing it slowly, replacing a feed a week so by 6 months I'll be done. Looking forward to a full night's sleep & wearing an underwired bra again :haha:
:hugs: for having to stop BF before you were ready, azure :( I'll be savouring that last feed too cos I know Leo is our last baby.

We've just started some first tastes. He's had baby rice & some fruit/veg purées so far. It's going well! He actually cried when he'd finished his baby rice & pear the other day :haha:

Still no teeth here. His bottom 2 are right there. I can even see the white line in the gum but they just don't seem to want to break though :dohh:

Nap times are still a battle. If he can't sleep on me, it's a strict 30 minute cat nap :( But night times are going well on the whole. We've just dropped his late feed & he's sleeping 7-4 most nights with a quick re-settling 30 minutes after going to bed. He comes in with us at 4 & I feed him & he sleeps til Rex barges in! Going to miss feeding him laying down & having to get up for a bottle so think I'll leave that feed til last!

Yeah, that was one of our last feeds too, making bottles requires much more thought and alertness. Colton naps for 30-45 minutes too. I made a hat for him today, he looks adorable in it!

so stinkin cute!! I need to get one like that for charles for this winter :)

Sazzle- we are also on a 30 minute cat nap. Well... 30 minutes once I put him down. If I let him sleep on me he will stay there for 1-3 hours at a time. You learn how to prioritize what needs to be done into 30 minute increments LOL

On another note, we have hit the 6 month growth spurt a little early and he is nursing every hour and a half or so again...and still teething... I'm having flash backs to his early growth spurts with him not wanting to sleep anywhere but on me and waking up as soon as I put him down. With my husband in London for 2 more days (has been there 6 already for work) it's more than a bit exhausting. Charles is screaming/crying every time I put him down, even just for a minute to go to the bathroom or fix a sandwich. This too shall pass, this too shall pass.... but wouldn't mind if it passes sooner than later ;) In actuality, I am soaking up all of the snuggles now because I know one day he won't want to :(

Good to know I'm not alone on the 30 minute cat naps  They are frustrating! But you're right, kksy, you certainly have to prioritise what to do in that previous chunk of time! :dohh:

Leo is clingy too, kksy  I've taken to making lunch the night before & prepping whatever I can for the following night's dinner once the boys are in bed. I also have to get up, showered & ready for the day before DH leaves at 7.30am. But, you're right, it will pass! Just wish it would hurry up & pass :haha:

Happy 7 months April babies!!!!

Odin still doesn't have any teeth. He is trying to crawl put does more of a scoot than a crawl. He's growing way to fast. At his 6 month check up he weighed in at 19 lbs 5 oz which puts him in the 97th percentile!!!

How are all the April Flowers doing?

Odin is so cute!!

Charlee has 2 teeth, she can completely sit up on her own, she hates pureed foods so I'm trying BLW but so far she doesn't eat much solids and thrives off of mommy milk.

She's huge- 18.5 lbs (90th in weight) and off the charts in height! I'm proud that my milk made a big girl. :)

She just started babbling 2 weeks ago and babbles mama when sad/mad but mostly bababababa.

Trying to post a couple pics

Odin and Charlee are just too sweet!!

I cannot believe that our babies are 7 months old (or nearly there)! Charles is growing like a weed. Two teeth have popped through and the way he is acting more are on the way. He is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking and will jump with his legs..just hasn't figured out to move his arms at the same time yet :) if you hold his hands he will stand himself up and is discovering the joy of bouncing. He also has started to wave. Probably our favorite thing to do is swim class! He is a water baby and its a lot of fun to watch him in the water :)

Hopefully the picture attaches correctly. This is from about 2 weeks ago

Aw....so cute!!!! Colton has two teeth, splashes like a mad man in the tub, sits for ages on his own, and is starting to move forward, sometimes scooting, sometimes a crawl. He was 16 lbs 10 oz and 26.75 inches long at six months, I know he has gotten even longer since then.

They are all too sweet!! Is it just me or is this group a bunch of lookers? ;)

I was thinking the same thing! We all sure did make some beautiful babies :)

Love all these photos!
Here's Tristan dressed up as Olaf at his sister's 'Frozen' Birthday party yesterday, he was a very good boy :D

He is generally a very happy boy, cries when he's hungry or if wants to go to bed. No teeth yet although lots of signs of teething, his sister didn't get any teeth through until she was almost 12 months so we may have a bit of a wait!
He loves to bounce up and down on your lap and has learnt to clap so does it at any opportunity.
He was weighed a fortnight ago and is 20lb 10oz and is on the 97th percentile for height although I can't remember the actual measurement.

What a bunch of cuties! We all sure know how to make a cute baby.

Hi All! Hope all of the American ladies on here had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! We had a great day spent with family playing games, watching movies, swimming (indoors) and of course, eating!

Charles started crawling tonight! One proud Momma over here and just wanted to share! He has been so close for the last week so we knew it was coming and he finally went for it tonight.

Hope everyone is well and gearing up for the holiday season!
