OMG Its took me bloody ages to find this thread !!! Ive only been without internet for 10 days and feel like ive missed loads !!!

RE soothers, I found Lucas was using me as a dummy so I tried him with two different types the cherry and the flat ones and he seems to like both although he spat them both out the first few times I tried but now hes bloody addicted to the damn thing !!

Hey Im good thanks,

Move went ok apart from OH managed to break two wardrobes beyond repair and the sofa won't fit through the lounge door so its in the kitchen at the moment !! Have had to borrow some money of my dad to get a new sofa which won't even be delivered until next week !!

Lucas is good apart from we have got into a few bad habits of rocking him to sleep etc, so when we try to put him in his moses basket to sleep in the day he goes beserk ! Is ok at night tho as long as we are going to bed to.

glad to hear the move went well
even with the breakages!!

emily slept for 9 hours last night!!
and im going to up her feeds
to 6oz little piggy!!
ive also moved onto number 2 teats
she's growing up girls ...
i can even buy number 3 nappies!!
getting her weighed again tomorrow


my aunty flows come with avengence!!
lol

went to the butchers this morning too
steak for dinner!!!

how's everyone and small ones?!?!

Afternoon ladies,

How are you and all your LO's doing ? xx

Had an emotional Monday I broke down as bubba was really grizzly and i was tired ... but i cried my eyes out infront of the health visitor, then my mum took babe from about 3-10pm brilliant, i just slept and caught up ! and then my OH did a night feed when he came home so i could get more sleep i woke up yesterday like a new women ! ... and feel so much better about things

I cannot believe it Ridley has put on 1lb in a week ... he is getting hammy cheeks

Awww thats nice of your mum I wish I could trust my mum to look after Lucas, I would spend the whole time worrying as she would probably put him in the oven to keep him warm or something equally as awful !!

How much does Ridley weigh now ? Lucas was weighed today and is 9lb 13, I can't believe it, he's nearly to big for all his newborn clothes !!

Yeh mum has been great my OH had to go straight into his new job so had no paternity and time off with us which sucks so its been great to have a hand with stuff whilst he is at work .. x x hahahah is your mum that bad?

Ridley now weighs 8lbs 3oz was 7lbs 3oz at birth lol ... so funny ...its just his cheeks ...aww i dont know about you but I kind of don't want him to grow bigger how ru both doing though is he better today?? x

My mum would be a nightmare ! I remember how she used to treat me when I was little so there is no way I will ever let her look after Lucas on her own.

I have mixed feelings on him getting bigger, on the one hand I think yes more sleep then on the other I think I will miss having a teeny tiny baby to look after, not that he was ever on the tiny side compared to everyone elses babas !

He is a lot better today but im knackered and since being back on the internet i have spent the whole day surfing the net and not doing any housework which i really need to do now lol

When do you go back to work ? I had a call earlier asking me when I was going back !!!

hi girlies, a meet would be great but we're all over the country!!

monkey here was awake from 4pm - 10.45 last night! groggy then happy etc. then slept from 10.45pm till 8.45 am this morning - 10 hours w00p w00p!!!

is in a good routine for me - 4oz milk @ 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 9pm - then whatever she wakes in early morning! but has slept 10/11pm till 4/5am last few nights!

she weighed 8lb 6oz today (7lb 2oz at birth)

sounds like all you girlies are doing so welll

and a meet would be awesome
but we've got people all over
the place theres no central point!
plus we'd have to do it when
they're old enough to play with eachother!!


sometimes i want her to be bigger
like the fact it would be easier
going up and down the stairs if
she could walk!!
top floor in a flat with no lift!!
but other times i want her to
be tiny and innocent forever!!

we tried that, she just crys and crys and crys and crys till her face is all red and can hardly breathe so i have to pick her up but with out fail she will fall asleep at 12 midnight

Does anyone else find that there LO wakes up the very moment they are about to eat something ?

Im sure he is timing it on purpose, as even if i eat at different times of the day and have fed him recently he wakes up the very second im about to tuck in !!! I have eating one handed down to a fine art now !!

Han Id be happy with even 5 hours

SNAP!! our babies are about the same age, I thought it would take longer than this to get first AF I was sooo not expecting it!! luckily its lessened today the first 2 days were the worst ever.

Hows your gorgeous little one doing? cant believe what size nappies shes in, cuz Alex 'would be' 7 weeks (tomorro) I imagine him to still be the same size so think they sound big, god im not amking any sense tonight!!

Oh my god did you intend to not take much maternity then hun ?? I am not going back until January 2009 ... however my OH said its upto you whether you go back as I can be a stay at home mummy if I want !

LOL aww Jenny i know how you feel we're in a top floor apartment and theres 3 flights of stairs to go up and down and no lift but we're looking at getting a house cause it's just ridiculous plus I want a garden for little man to play in

Ava decided she wanted to use my nipple as a dummy just as i was about to eat soup today, and thats one of them things i cant do at the same time. hot soup and baby on breat dont mix

i think they get jealous of us paying attention to food and not them

well that was only once shes done 5 hours and that was cos she was screaming the house down and tired her self out for 4 hours before hand
