I would love to TTC straight away but it is just not practical, I need to go back to work in January as we cant afford for me to stay at home. Also I want to spend as much time as I can with Sophie before another one appears but we have decided to TTC when she is a year old!!

I am soo jelous of pregnant ladies now, I want my bump back! I almost want to go up to them and say 'yeah, well I have a 7 week old - hah'

I think Sophie has colic!! Every night from around 8pm for about half an hour to an hour and a half she just screams! Then when she is finally calm she will be clonked out for the rest of the night!! I dont know what to do, we changed her teats but we think that made it worse so going to chnage back tomorrow, tried dentinox but made her quite sick, we did use infacol and she was ok on that so we are trying that again! Arghhhh I just dont know what to do

Ive been using infacol and its worked really well, i havent used it today as we was at the zoo all day and Oscar was really unsettled for about 2 hours before bed tonight, sure that not just a coincidence! my last baby would scream the house down between 4pm and 8pm every day so I can handle 2 hours of 'unsettled' no probs i'm gonna chuck a spoon of gripe water in all his bottles from Friday as i got to wait until he's 4 wks old, thats worked wonders in the past

About the bottle feeding.. i am not sure .. we thought we would try her on some water and see if she would take it from the bottle and she loves it... So we thought you would express milk and see how she goes with that and she loves it as well. looks at me a little confused ... like i am getting boobie juice but mummy your over there.... why is daddy giving me boobie juice lol hehehe it is really cute!!!

Good morning all.

I think it's time to pump pump pump and let Cooper go to my parents over night so I can sleep! I can't complain, he seems to wake at 3am and 6am if he goes down around midnight but I think after 5 weeks it's definitely caught up with me and I neeeeeeed a solid block of more than 3 hours. I'm so envious of you girls with long sleepers. I'm even considering one FF at night to fill him up. I'm worried he then won't like my milk.

hey Lyndsey... Awww yes sounds like i good idea that Cooper goes to his nanny and poppy's place for the night...
I had to make the same decisions as you huni./..... have you tried expressing?? I was going to give Layla formula but i figured the same thing (that she would not want my bobbie juice anymore) so i am expressing and she still loves the boob which is great.
Does Cooper take the bottle or?

I am only giving Layla the bottle maybe once every 2 days... but come the weekend her night feeds will be bottle so that Allan can feed while i sleep hehehe

Layla slept from 9.30pm to 3.30am last night then awake till 4am then slept untill 7am then fed till 7.30 then slept till 9am i think that is pretty good,. During the day she feeds every 2 or 3 hours...

Hopefully Cooper will start sleeping longer for you babe

Han it is such a shame Ava won't take a bottle because then you would be able to go 'Right it is your turn I'm sleeping tonight!!'

I would sit him own and talk to him, a couple of times now I've bottled what I'm thinking and feeling up and then had massive breakdown and screaming matches with Dan.

When Marc is there and you have finished BF Ava I would give her to him and say it is time for you to change her bum.. it is what I do


Dan tried giving Amelia a bottle last night and she wouldn't take it but Saturday night she happily took bottles from Dans sister!

I'm entitled to 32 points but then it goes down to 31 points when I turn 21.

It seems like SO many.. So I'll be trying to have 30 as well

I just don't know what to eat.. in the past when I've wanted to lose weight I'd eat 1 meal a day and smoke A LOT!

Plus Amelia seems to know when I want to eat because she starts fussing.. what a little devil eh

I don't know what to suggest now sweetie but you are doing a fantastic job and Ava is so gorgeous!! I know it is hard not getting help

We are total opposites in the appetite department, I just don't have one.
People have to prompt me to eat or else I would just go days and days without a proper meal.. and I know I can't do that because of BF.

they flipping do but i do find night feeds so much more easy when hes not there for some reason lol

lol i used to have no appetite at all just after i had her but i could eat and eat and eat now lol

I had a bagel with cream cheese and ham, which is about 6 points and a fronage fais with is 2 points and a banana which is 0 poinst

ava feed at 7:30 went to sleep thats when i ate and now, she just had a feed and happy in her moses basket just talking and kicking lol

why dont you go next week if its raining hun?

yeh i have 30 pounds topshop vouchers and 25 outfit vouchers and 40 pounds, so each time i lose a stone im gonna buy myself a piece of clothes

i treat myself with a sweet treat everyday

I'm hoping by 12.30 the rain will have stopped, I didn't go last week because I was in agony with my wisdom tooth trying to come through and I want to go every 2 weeks just to keep an eye on her weight, because it seems like it is really hard for her to put on weight.

I've decided once I have lost 14lb I will get my hair done.. so it is proper motivation because my hair is really UGH at the moment!
